A total demolition and renovation of our master bathroom has just been completed. It was the first time we had embarked on such a project. As «newbies», we did our research, visiting several suppliers in Westchester and Manhattan. It quickly became clear that Best Plumbing in Scarsdale was the right place to be. We were not disappointed!!! It was one of the best experiences we have had with a business. We worked primarily with Samantha, and Judy kindly provided behind the scenes support. The showroom is expansive, with attractive displays, and we were able purchase the most fashionable, up-​to-​date, high-​quality fixtures and tiles at fair prices. Samantha was very friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and well organized. Since this was our first experience, we had many questions. Our phone calls were returned promptly, and all of Samantha’s advice and design suggestions were very useful.
Everything was delivered as promised. Our bathroom is beautiful! We highly recommend Best Plumbing Tile and Stone in Scarsdale.

I called best plumbing to seek assistance for a leaking faucet that was purchased there several years ago – I was looking for specs and a maintenance manual for the product. My review is reflective of many others, the staff is only to happy to help you when you are buying new products. Unfortunately, they are not interested in helping you when you are looking for assistance for products that were already purchased. In my case, the woman on the phone directed me to a manufacturer website and then hung-​up – 15 seconds of customer assistance, definitely a speed record. That will be my last interaction with Best, our upcoming bath and kitchen remodels will be done using someone else.

As a kitchen and bath designer, I rely heavily on Susan’s recommendations; she brings a plethora of knowledge and experience, both on the product side and the field application, her guidance is thoughtful and genuine. She takes the stress off my clients with her relaxed, no pressure approach creating an atmosphere of creativity and options. When I express budgetary and aesthetic goals, Susan finds solutions and directs us to the products that enhance our project.
The showroom is absolutely beautiful with a wide range of product styling from traditional to contemporary, and a range of cost as well. Their Best Buy price is a discount off the list price which is always a pleasure when embarking on construction projects.
Sue becomes a part of the team for my client and places her efforts to execute the «Best» job possible for me. There is no challenge that is too difficult for her. I’ve highly recommended Susan to my clients for years, and I can’t imagine entrusting my clients with anyone else!

We were so lucky to have Todd from Best Plumbing. He came highly recommended by the contractor and we understand why. Todd is extremely knowledgable in the bathroom design, including all technical specifications you wouldn’t even think of. He is an expert at guiding his customers to the right selections to create the look, feel and ambiance they are looking for, he is also very friendly and easy to work with.
Once we were able to make our selection, the order process was extremely easy. All of the materials were sourced by Todd with suggestions on specific issues to discuss with the contractor and the plumber. When the design specifications changed, Todd has worked with us to make sure we change our orders accordingly.
Todd goes above and beyond for his clients. He not only brings up very valid and critical points, he advises the clients on what things to take into consideration, how to prevent issues from occurring in the future and how to maintain the hardware and tubs/​sinks.
Todd is also VERY familiar with the vendors and the equipment, a TRUE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT in design, technical specs and construction. He is on your side every step of the way and once you have selected your bathroom, the ordering process is as easy as can be because he’s on top of it.
Tiny note — their in-​house order processing system could be improved. I had a hard time understanding the item descriptions on the estimates and reconciling invoices and would put everything into a separate excel spreadsheet for my own project budget.

We are in the process of renovating our home, and Marquetta in Scarsdale was just fantastic to work with. She was patient, so incredibly knowledgeable, and helped us design a gorgeous bathroom from the floors all the way to the shower fixtures, etc. Marquetta gave me samples for our kitchen backsplash, so we could test out certain designs at home. I think she could write a book about grout and dye lots and has a keen and excellent eye for color combinations. She made it so easy to stop by the store and consult with her, and she sent updates via e-​mail, as well as photos and ideas for bathroom design. Thank you, Marquetta, and Best Plumbing.

Debbie at Best P. in Scarsdale worked patiently and diligently as I, with zero experience, worked through the confusion of a very first ever renovation. She carefully helped through all the decisions, then scheduled all deliveries. They do discount, thankfully, since all of these things, faucets, vanities, sinks — ALL of it are absurdly priced. But that’s just how it is — look online, and it’s just plain expensive. I found the Scarsdale shop to be cheery, clean, easy to park. On the floor was a «greeter» to help people find an available salesperson, but no pressure, just helpful. AND — every delivery was delivered when promised, by efficient delivery guys.

Went on a Sunday at 1pm and lots of sales people Available. Samantha was very helpful, very knowledgable and very pleasant. She helped us narrow down our options and printed out the specs for our two top choices. Went home, made a decision and placed order. Couldn’t have been easier.

Best has a great selection and really helpful salespeople. I was approached by a salesperson visiting from another store and was then referred to Alison. She called me to set up an appointment the following day. I went in several times with a million questions and she was always so knowledgeable and terrific to work with. She gets back to you in a very timely manner and she really had some helpful suggestions for my two bathrooms. I would call her again in a second if I ever needed to do another renovation.

I needed to replace my toilet and decided to visit this store. The salesperson (some guy) was very disrespectful. I asked for the specifications on the toilet he was showing me, and his response was «what would you need to know that for?». Well, I need to know that so that 1) I know what I am purchasing, and 2) so that I know if it will actually fit in my bathroom! I guess he thought because I am a woman I’ll just buy something if I think it’s pretty. He was so rude that I walked out. I just can’t see buying anything there.

Walked in, looked, then passed by the staff area, looked around again for… maybe 5 –10 minutes and gave no acknowledge i was there. And when i finally asked someone for help, after a few minutes of small talk she referred me to someone else who later made me feel like she was rushing me. One of their 6−8staff members there turned off a light switch, which seemed to amuse everyone else in their staff team making me feel and have one of the most uncomfortable and awkward experiences in a store. I quickly realized it was their closing time.
You want to be out by 5pm sharp lock your doors at 4– 4:30pm that way other potential clients don’t get the same experience.

Great showroom featuring a ton of Kohler products. Salespeople are very helpful, though the pricing is a bit high compared to what you can find online and in the real world outside of Scarsdale.
No matter what you’re looking for, the staff simply takes the list price out of the Kohler catalog and give you 10−20% off. Even with that discount, it’s quite expensive compared to what you can get in the market place. Same goes for their tile; high end pricing.
Still, it’s a decent place to do some reconnaissance on bathrooms and kitchens, and they are great with answering questions. Worth a visit if you’re doing a renovation.
