Very interesting menu, If you are in a rush, go with the empanadas because everything else takes a while. They have a crazy amount of empanadas, I would come back to try them all. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. I got the half chicken with rice and fries. The fries were thin and very crispy, but lacked salt. The rice was excellent, and tasted like it was made in a chicken stock instead of water, which add a nice layer of flavor. The chicken was cooked well, and I like the light seasoning of lemon on it, with a crispy skin. The portion of starch was off, I needed more chicken. My GF got some empanadas, the Hawaiian, spicy chicken, and nutella and banana. The Hawaiian was nothing special. The spicy chicken and nutella were much better. I would have liked them more if they had more crunch though.

The people that run this place are the nicest people I’ve ever met. When we bring our daughter in they make a fuss over her and make her special desserts. It’s really a pleasure to go in here. I love empenadas and I love chicken milenese sandwiches and they do them both great here. The dessert empenadas are great as well. There really is no other place around here to sit with a cappuccino and dessert and relax. Lalas bbq is a great addition to the area.

Everything I’ve ever ordered from here has been great! I usually get the full chicken with rice & French fries and the empanadas. The chicken is delicious — moist and full of flavor! The rice is always cooked perfectly and also has a lot of flavor. I’ve only tried the spicy chicken empanadas(delicious by the way) but they have a very nice selection of empanadas and I will definitely be trying more. Great place, reasonable prices, and the staff is also great!

The food is good the only problem is that there is not a good service … I’ve heard a lot of times that’s the service is bad, I didn’t no this place is a hooters, how bad it looks the owner is a person that gives all the service to the tables… how bad it looks. The service has changed a lot. For that reason is that this restaurant is never going to grow…

Skip the trip to any other destination for empanadas and run to this restaurant. They have a huge selection and the ones I had were stuffed and amazing! But… come for the empanadas, stay for all of their other food and keep coming back and trying. Their BBQ meats are authentic and taste amazing. Chicken, short ribs, awesome! So glad to find this spot.

A friend arranged a casual dinner for a club I’m involved in tonight(Wed.) They were organized and efficient with a small staff. We made it interesting for Lisa, our server, as we sampled items we kept ordering more and more and members of our ~20 person party arrived and departed at different times. They had no problem splitting the tab from the start. It was clear the server took my dietary requirements seriously and was quick to help me find friendly food. The greenbean-egg-beet salad w/lemon was A-MAZE-ING! I heard no disappointments other than a friend that doesn’t like mushrooms still doesn’t like mushrooms when they are wrapped in their super flaky empanada. Seriously, they have crazy variety of empanadas. I stuck w/steak and salad. Short rib made my tongue dance.(BYOB for those that need to know.)

Do you want authentic argentine food? This is the spot ! The empanadas are the closest to homemade as I have had. This is the type of stuff, that if your familiar with argentine cuisine, you know it’s the genuine article. The empanadas will always set the tone and they are on point, not as good as my mom’s but you know how that goes. Pan fried milanesa(breaded cutlets) both chicken and beef thin crispy fries, fried egg on top. The absolute BOMB. The rotisserie chicken over charcoal is amazing. The lady there is a sweetheart. Prompt courteous service hope this place lasts a long time. The«parillada» or asado is only available on weekends.

Talk about delicious Argentinian food with service to match! The owner of this restaurant is very welcoming and takes great pride in her menu as well as the history and culture behind it. The blood sausage, meats, empanadas, soups and desserts are sure to please. I’ll be visiting frequently and I highly recommend it!

Let me start off by saying the mini strip mall that this place occupies has been through a lot of tenants though out the years. Parking is kind of crappy but that’s not really LaLa’s fault. The restaurant is new on the inside and looks pretty trendy. Maybe seating for about 25 people or so. What’s cool is you can see the rotisserie where they do the meats from the inside. We had the short ribs combo with rice and fries. Food was really good, they serve a small little green sauce with the food on the side which is kickass. We also tried some of the empanadas although they were reasonably priced they weren’t as stuffed as I would have expected. Overall I enjoyed eating here and look forward to trying other things. Price wise good was a little on the expensive end but doable.

Empanadas were amazing. And she has at least a dozen different varieties. We had the sausage, chicken and spinach, all of which were so full of flavor. Service was also excellent. The owner greets you and takes your order. I love that. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food. Amazing service. We got the Mixed Grill for two and it could have easily fed four. My four year old daughter loved the ham and cheese empanadas. We will definitely return.

It’s a new place in town and I been here 3 times. The first visit the meats were great and the side dishes were big, I had to take some home(yummy, next day lunch) Now the meats are still great,(try the morzillas and mollejas, to kill for). The sides are small a bit bland. I will try it a few more times, hope it was just a bad day. It’s great to have new restaurants in town and close to home.

We had read about this new restaurant through another blog and had to try it after reading the menu. This place is located right across the bridge from South River, right next to Wawa’s. When we got here, there were a couple of tables that were occupied and somebody came in for takeout. We ordered the Empanada de Roquefort and the Empanada de Espinaca. Both of them were pretty good. I thought it would be little weird having blue cheese empanada but it tasted pretty good. My favorite was the spinach empanada. We had also ordered Empanada with Corn but they didn’t have it. We also ordered ½ chicken with rice and fries. The chicken was disappointingly small. It was very tasty but small. Hubs ordered the Choripan and that was a little disappointing. It was Argentinian sausage in a sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo. The sausage was more like smoked meat. Finally, we ordered the Potato omelette tortilla de papa. We liked it a lot. Can’t go wrong with eggs! We had also ordered Ensalada Ruso(potato salad), but that never came out. We forgot about it until we were driving and realized it but she never charged us for it. So, I guess she forgot to write it down. Service was friendly. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!
