Classic nasty savannah Chinese food delivery. I wasn’t aware Hungry Man Frozen Dinners had a brick and mortar Chinese restaurant. Well this place will make a hungry man into an angry man. The vegetables, proteins, egg rolls, and sauces are clearly packaged and frozen. The crab ragoons were the best thing I had and they were 2 stars at best. The egg rolls were frozen, soggy, and flavorless. The broccoli and chicken in brown sauce was worse than a TV dinner. Broccoli was clearly frozen and overcooked and the chicken was rubbery and without texture. The thickened brown water it sat in did not help. I have had plenty of good to very good delivery Chinese food. Just not in this city. It made me want to abandon the entire genre and only get Chinese at a sit down restaurant elsewhere. May be used as a dog laxative.

No. Don’t get food from here. Pad Thai had nothing in it, just noodles and shrimp(no sauce or anything) The«fried«rice was white and had pieces of boiled chicken and some green onions. We threw most of it away.

I think the food may taste better in the restaurant, but delivery yuck! I got the pad Thai there was no sauce at all, just dry noodles. It says on the menu that it’s spicy. Completely bland. Same with the general

The food is actually really tasty and you are given big sized portions. I would give it another star if the server was better. we went there at 6:00 on a week day and there was literally nobody there other than us until about half way through our meal. our server was quick with us until the second table got there and then it seemed like he had no idea how to wait on two tables. only other thing i can say is the menus are old and between the 2 menus we had on the table, there was different pictures and different pages on each of then which was kinda strange, not a big deal but still strange.

Dim Sum is out of this world good. I wish I would have take a photo. We had the steam pork bun, sticky rice with chicken, spicy pork dumpling and steam vegetable dumpling. Let me say, if you’re familiar with authentic Dim Sum you will not be disappointed.

This is the best takeout Chinese I’ve had in a long time. The place looks sparse every time I’m on here but the food is great. I always get dinner and have never eaten here nor had the buffet. I don’t do buffets.

Excellent General Tso’s(I worked at a 5* Asian cuisine restaurant for awhile so I have a high expectation for this dish) I suggest if you like it spicy to be sure specify extra hot. The stand out was the Mala Wontons. It was at least 5 huge wontons and the sauce was delicious! I ordered through the Beyond Menu app and the order came with in 40 minutes! This is despite me ordering before they opened! The driver was really nice too!

Food was okay, awful service. Dim Sum didn’t have a large selection but what we did have, was only okay. Nothing special or remarkable about any certain dish but definitely acceptable considering the location. Everything seemed to be a bit greasier than needed be, but we weren’t complaining as it is the first Dim Sum place we have found in the area in the past year of residing here. The entire restaurant was empty when we arrived with the exception of a party of three sitting in a booth. The sign had asked for us to wait to be seated and so we stood around the entrance waiting for a server or host to appear. One of the individuals sitting in the booth stands after 5 minutes and apologizes for not having seen us earlier. Turns out, he was the server and the host that evening. Our issue with FireWok was not the food. The food was fine but the issue with our visit was with the server. He was incredibly rude and somehow decided for himself that using profanity every other word was acceptable. Never once before have we had a server rudely question a drink choice or make us feel uncomfortable in every way possible throughout our time there. We will be returning for the food NEXT month because according to the server, he will be «away from this sucky place and back in school at the end of December.»

I’m so glad I found this restaurant! Very convenient for anyone who lives or works on HAAF or in the area! I’ve dined in and ordered take out via Eat24 app and I have no complaints! The DimSum is AMAZING, BBQ ribs are delicious and service is always great!

Stay away. Went for lunch. One waitress. Waisted half our lunch break and didn’t even get to order. The people that were there were pissed. They couldn’t even pay. I bought a Groupon and returned it.

My cousin had never tried hot pot and I really wanted to see what Savannah had to offer in terms of Asian cuisine. We walked in and saw that the restaurant wasn’t busy by any means. A waiter promptly seated us and was really great about allowing us to move after we decided to go the hot pot route.(They have a BYOB policy for those that are interested) We were entertained by the waiter who was incredibly outgoing and kept us laughing while telling us to keep watching the pot. We would become so engrossed in our food that we’d forget to pull some of the things that were becoming overcooked.(That poor corn… what a pity) The veggies were fresh and the seafood had a great color without having a smell. Before we knew it closing time was upon us but we’d already decided that this place would definitely be added to our list of favorites.

We went for lunch on a Friday. It wasn’t very busy so service was great and fast! The food was delicious! We can’t wait to come back.

Where to begin… We came for lunch and I wish we had went somewhere else. We were sat promptly and received our drinks. Our server appeared to be the only working so I felt bad so we were patient. She did eventually come over and take our order. After that… we like never saw her. Well, we saw her running to all her other tables and serving them food but not us! Finally after about 35 – 40 mins, my fiances inlays received their food. I might add that it tasted amazing! However, after we asked where my fiancé and my meals were she just ran away. never to return. We asked for our check and low and behold all 4 meals were on it. That did not bode well. They ended up not charging us for lunch at all, seeing that only 2\4 of us actually got out meals. I will say that the General Tso Chicken and White fried rice were really good… Thanks to my mother and father in law for sharing!

Run, RUN as FAST as you CAN!!! HORRIBLE. That was our experience here. What made it horrible was the lack of service. The little bit of food we got was EXCELLENT. We showed up for lunch at noon. A few tables were sat and only one server working. 4 of us sat down and started looking at the menu. She brought us our drinks and then did not come back to take our order for 25 minutes. As we sat we grew more agitated but decided we would wait it out. She came back eventually and took our order after sitting another 4 tables. We ordered 3 general Tso chicken and a Chicken Pad Thai… We sat for another 20 minutes while we watched other people who sat after us, get their food. As she ran around the place, confused, she purposefully was ignoring us. When she showed up the the table she had a tray full of food. there were two orders of general Tso Chicken and two sesame chicken. She looked confused as she handed out the General chicken down and then walked back to the kitchen with the other two dishes. She then decided to not come back to the table and explain what was going on. She went about her business walking around the dining room helping other tables and closing checks. We sat for another 15 minutes and then I grew annoyed. I started yelling and waving to get her attention. She came over and was confused we never received our egg rolls or two main entrees. This lady was way out of her ability. Order TOGO and place your order at least an hour ahead and hope you get to eat…

Went there for dinner last night. The place was really quiet and we almost didn’t stay. Well, we did stay and I have to say the place is awesome. The dimsum is the best I have had since San Francisco and very authentic. Prices are reasonable and the portions are big. Give this place a try. It isn’t the prettiest restaurant and is a bit run down, but the food is great. Wait staff is pleasant and efficient. We will be going back!!!

WORSTCHINESEFOODEVER. If I could give this negative 5 stars, I would. We ordered takeout, and I’ve never been so appalled. When I picked up my food, the phone was ringing and the person was running around like the world was on fire. Must be why they call it «Fire Wok». I was extremely patient and understanding, but honestly, this place is a joke. It smelled like paint when I walked in the door, and I could tell construction was going on. Please stay away and save your money.

I am giving the Two Stars because my Husband liked his food. He had the Wok Star and Egg Custard. I wanted to try the Dim Sum here since it had been a long time since I had any. I ordered the BBQ Pork Buns, Shrimp Dumpling and Coconut Cake. The waitress came back after about 10 minutes to tell me they were out of BBQ Pork Buns. i thought if they make this fresh and the ingredients aren’t rare why would they be out? I changed it to Black Bean Pork Ribs. I also ordered egg rolls. The only thing that was decent was the Shrimp Dumpling and dipping sauce. The Black Bean Pork Ribs; terrible. The Coconut Cake made me think back to China Town in Chicago were I must admit the food was spectacular but the Pastry not for me. I brought the Coconut Cake home and tried it again. Put it straight in the garbage. This place just isn’t for me. My Husband can come here alone and I shall adventure else where.

Tried some take-out since we were craving some rangoon and rice, and saw that this was a new location in Savannah. Apparently this replaced Chao’s, which was abysmal. The staff was OK, not the friendliest, and seemed a little out of the loop with how to complete a food order. The food, however, was pretty good for Chinese take-out. Not overly dressed in sauce, and the portions were big. If I had to get Chinese take-out again, I would recommend this over some of the other downtown locations.

Today, I decided to give new kid on the block, Fire Wok, a try; I heard from a few friends that they had a solid Dim Sum offering, as well as fresh takes on old-standbys. Fire Wok did not disappoint. I’m from Los Angles, where good Dim Sum is a given and incredible Dim Sum is the norm. I had been asking around about good Asian food since moving to Savannah for school — and many of the Asian offerings came up short. If you do not understand Dim Sum, let me give you a brief summary: Dim sum, roughly translates in Chinese to «small bite-sized snacks» — it has a big presence throughout Hong Kong and is well loved back home in LA as well. The draw? Lots of flavor, little plates(much like tapas) to pass around and share, and economically, this style of noshing(I’m half Japanese, half Jewish… these worlds mix well) allows you to have a little of this and a little of that — which equates to a lot of satisfaction. I went with the Spring rolls, Sticky Rice with Chicken(stuffed in a lotus leaf), and the steamed vegetable dumplings. All arrived quickly, steaming hot, and well prepared(obviously from scratch — never take that for-granted). For the main course, I ordered off their solid lunch menu that included an entrée(I chose Chicken with Szechuan Peppercorn Sauce), choice of brown, white, or fried rice, and salad(although you can have one of three soups in place of the salad if you wish). The chicken(white meat) was tender, the vegetables fresh(not soggy!), and the heat just right(I requested extra spicy — many places don’t take that request to heart, but Fire Work brought the heat). Destiny(a really great and knowledgeable server) was spot on with all of her recommendations, right down to the last bite: Fried Banana Cheesecake with Mango Ice Cream. The best part? I spent less than $ 25 on all of the above AND brought home enough left overs for at *least* one substantial meal… which I am already looking forward to consuming!
