Called in an order. It was ready in exactly 10 minutes like they said it would be. Fried dumplings are very tasty maybe the best I’ve ever had and that’s a good thing since they didn’t have any sauce like I’m used to getting. The coconut shrimp is good but the shrimp fried rice is better. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

I am Chinese and at the same time, a picky foodie. After I graduated from college I moved to Savannah for work, and feed on this restaurant 5 times a week. This place, this American-Chinese restaurant, is the best american Chinese restaurant I have ever visited in my life. I am not using the standard of authentic Chinese food because that’s another category and it’s not fair because there is no Asian market nearby. But still, the best. Several reasons, 1. Amazing, hot, fresh, Food. Every single dish, is freshly cooked after you place the order. Normally what I will do is calling ahead about 10 minutes, you will then can do a hit-and-run pick up. 2. The wok(the steel stir-frying pan) they used gives the food«the pot aroma», you can tell the food material are being heated up evenly during the stir-frying period. Try their fried rice, you will know what I am talking about. 3. Very Affordable. $ 5.95 Lunch-special. 5 star quality. It’s a steal. 4. Boss is a cool Asian guy, it’s a pity we are in some kind of gap between Mandarin and Cantonese, fortunately English has set up the communication channel. Recommendations: BBQ spare-ribs. Monstrous quantity, heavenly taste. Broccoli with fried tofu, broccoli is cooked but still gives you the burst of crunchiness and freshness, and fried-tofu sucked the sauce well and turned into little succulent flavor bombs. Dragon and phoenix. Combo of General Tso Chicken and Shrimp in Spicy Sauce.

Food was delicious. Some of the best Chinese food we have had in the south, and we are used to chinese food from up north; which is where we are from. It was ready before the time passed. We were on our way to pick it up, when they called us to make sure we were coming and to tell us the food was ready. It was HOT and we arrived 10min after the 15min window. Too bad they don’t deliver, but I guess that’s par for savannah. DEFINITELYWORTHTHEDRIVE, even through the construction zone/traffic. Our ONLY pick up Chinese place in savannah.

This place has some of the best Chinese food in Savannah. They make the food fresh to order and it’s always piping hot! The guy that runs the place is cool. And they are very clean and consistent. It’s the best Chinese spot in Georgetown.

Sooooooo I thought this place just had a misspelled sign«China work». And I always thought it was very offensive. It’s like totally the twenty first century. If the Chinese want to work they will. But when I went in it had great food. I love Chinese food. Great service. Just think the sign is confusing.

They are the nicest people in Savannah!!! On top of that the food is amazing. My family and I have a tradition of ordering a ton of food from here every couple months and they have it ready in minutes. I don’t even want to eat at other Chinese restaurants anymore.

This is really one of the best Chinese food places I have been to. Since moving to georgetown, this is our«go-to» takeout dinner option when we don’t feel like cooking. They have the best general tso’s chicken my husband and I have ever had. We have tried so many items from their menu, and not once been disappointed! The teriyaki chicken is also great(similar to bourbon chicken). The guy who works behind the counter is ALWAYS there! He recognizes regulars and remembers their orders. I would Drive out of my way to come to this restaurant even if it wasn’t convenient– but I’m glad it is!

My go to Chinese food in Georgetown. And, no! It’s not the only one you smart asses. Service is great! Not sure if the guy who runs the front end is like the owner or what. But he always remembers me and takes care of me. my food! He takes care of my food! Things I like there: crab Rangoon– yes, it’s hard to screw up deep fried cream cheese goodness, but it is possible. Theirs is good tho. Fried Dumplings– actually, I just use these as a way to get the sauce it comes with to my mouth. Shrimp Toast– actually they stopped making this, but I figured I’d put it in here in case they read this… Cuz I want it bacK! House Fried Rice– good consistency and leftovers keep well. It’s sticky and that’s how I like it. General tso Chicken– it is what is, and they do it well. You can’t complain! Chicken and snow peas. My favorite dish there. Don’t be deceived into thinking its good for you tho. The sauce it’s in is like a sweet soy and it is like crack, so it must be unhealthy. Chicken a Curry– ok, I don’t actually get this, but my wife does and she likes it. Cashew chicken– mmmm mmmm good! I’d like more cashews but just know they sit up top when you open it. That’s it. I’m sure I’ve tried more, but that’s what stands out.

Finding good comfort food style Chinese food in Savannah is just like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I had just about given up. Then I found China Wok… thank goodness. Ok it’s not the best ever but it’s good, and it looks and tastes fresh. The interior is clean but very basic. They use the classic container sizing… which means you can get a pint or quart of many of their items. Love that. My fav is their veggie fried rice… this visit I ordered it spicy. Soooo yum. They really should move to a more visible location, they deserve to be in a more visible location. A better location with a larger/classier seating area, this place would be on the map.
