Applebee’s

ok… so I go to this Applebee’s quite often. Only because it’s close to home and it’s my second favorite Applebee’s, my first favorite is the one in St. Cloud, MN. Anyway, on with the show, here, I have pasta or salad or any appetizer and a beer. I have tried the steak from a taste of a dates plate but that’s it, and it was very tasty. I am a fan of steak but I’m picky and when I say that, it doesn’t mean someone cannot make a good enough steak for me, it just means, I want a steak from a steakhouse, that’s all. This time around we had beers and apps. However, my new favorite thing to do is just desserts when I go out now. I have a beer which is my salty and my dessert as my sweet. If you’re a beer fan, team it up with the Triple Chocolate Meltdown or my favorite beer buddy the Butter Pecan Blondie.

The food here is always nice and you can come in after 9 for half price appetizers which is very afforable

I brought the kids and the top-​tables were changed or sanded/​fixed. I noticed a manager on floor and service was great.

Went to Applebee’s with Inlaws and wife, food was awesome! Very fresh, very hot and our server Matthew B was really nice. Great experience for our family

We won’t be back! This is the second time I’ve been here with a bad experience and they do not know how to cook a steak. Tonight I ordered a steak medium rare and came well done. Sent it back and a new steak arrived medium with a big vein through it that made it impossible to cut. I know this isn’t a steak restaurant but I’m paleo and they have 5 steaks on the menu. Get it right! The server checked on us once throughout the whole meal and it was not busy. No discounts or concessions on the bill. This chain is over! Just call it quits.

First off, the food was great and we were seated right away. I guess you go to a restaurant to eat so that’s a plus, but everything else was forgettable. I’ve worked as a hostess and a server so I will tip 20% as long as you do your job. Not sure what our server was doing but she certainly was not doing her job. We went after the busy lunch period and we were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant which was definitely not busy. Our server greeted us right away and took our beverage order, which she then immediately delivered and then walked away without asking us if we were ready to order. Then came back 20 minutes later to take our order. The food was made in a timely fashion, but the order was messed up and my and my husband’s salad also had no dressing. No problem if your server ever shows up again, but we didn’t see her for about an hour when she returned with our check. Then we waited another 30 minutes for her to come pick up our card so we could leave. The icing on the cake was using the restroom to find NO TOILET PAPER! The restaurant was not busy and that is something that is usually checked often so I don’t know what was going on. Go here for a good meal at a decent price, but don’t expect to leave in a timely fashion.
