My friend and I went last night, Tues, June 7 at about 8. We went because stoooooopid Buckeye Roadhouse, the next exit north, had a 40 minute wait for the bar. Boo! There wasn’t a wait. The host was gracious, the server was nice and efficient and the food and drinks were great. Screw you Buckeye!

Stephanie the Proprietor cared for every detail for my buddy and myself. I have never been her restaurant, but i was impressed with the food and service. The baby back ribs fell off the bone, the meat was tender and juicy. The service was equally impressive, we didn’t feel rushed, nor neglected. See you soon Stephanie, with more friends!

So we understand this is a «family dining» experience; However, we were seated in the bar and some family on the other side was kicking, screaming and causing our table to shake with the over active behavior! We asked to be moved and were seated out of the way; Our waiter was super cute and nice but missed the boat! I asked for a cocktail and got it just before the main course. Well after the salad I got my cocktail? I ordered a glass of wine with the meal and after I was finished the waiter said he would bring it to me and it was not even the type I ordered? I asked for the manager and she got stuck in an tangent that she can’t make customer’s control their kids. She took The Drink off the bill which she should have done. When we were walking out she did not even say«I am so sorry that your experience was not good. Sorry. Really.» There were No Excuses! An apology a free dessert or meal anything like Sorry would have gone a Long Way. Customer Service is everything. I will Not be going back there again!!!

Average location with average food. Outback has been raising prices but not quality or quantity of food. They have a good happy hour so I suggest visiting during this time.

I think Capri is the worst waitress I have had! I can not believe how rude she is. She walked away from us mid order and never returned I had to flag her down. My kids are afraid of her and don’t want to ask her for anything. Obviously she doesn’t like her job. This place is earning their low rating. I am not sure if it’s our mixed kids or what it is taking everything in me not to leave. The food is ok and they are out of everything I asked for! How do you run out of 3 major menu items? Now I see why it’s dead in here. Management should be fired for allowing this. I had the mushrooms and they we’re rancid.

I am reviewing Outback. If you want a crispy steak or a creamy mac-and-cheese, Outback is the place to go. I like it because it is so delicious and great for kids! You will love it. The food is refreshing after a hard day. Go to Outback! Nari(Age 7)

Our server was great. Stephanie did well. Just wish our water glasses were filled. The food is nothing to rave about. The mashed potatoes really had no flavor by themselves. The portion sizes do not fit the dollar amount. Especially paying extra for sides. Sorry Outback, but we’ll be dining else where.

Our server was Jessica. From the minute we walked through the door to the end of our meal the service was amazing. I was pleased with the way they resolved a situation with a slightly temperamental guest at the door, both the host and a server. Though Jessica had other customer’s we she took personal time with all of us. Thanks for an enjoyable meal Jessica!

The food was not the quality of the Outback back home in Florida. We ordered a steak medium and it came out well done. Then I ordered French onion soup and had to send it back. It was the worst I ever tasted. The only good thing I can say is we had a good waiter named Todd. In fact even the front door staff was good.

Always dislike giving a low rating, for one the workers at these establishments often give 100% and to often things just don’t come together right, or it may well be an off night so I always give(gave) a good tip regardless of the overall experience. So with that in mind I went out with a large group to Outback Steakhouse Sunday. First off the staff were very polite a reason I give two stars. Unfortunately from there it was downhill. The Appetizers took a long time to arrive, so long I thought about leaving. And the appetizers were lukewarm. The food also took a while to arrive and some members of my party had to repeatedly ask for things they ordered. The prime rib was well forgettable, lukewarm and not the best texture. I certainly expect better and know that its possible, hope next time I can come back and give 5 stars.

Service was great. Group of young people eager and right there when you want them. Food on the other hand, disappointing. Had a burger with Swiss. Really had no taste, way too much mustard. Fries, where just weird. Asked for some mayo, my mistake. I do not know how long the mayo sat around in the kitchen, I suspect since 1999, but it had a orange crust on it. All in all, not really worth it.

Made reservations for a party of 10 and informed it was birthdays. Honestly I was a bit disappointed. We ordered the Great Barrier Trio and the blooming onion appetizers for starters. The Great Barrier Trio was so salty I couldn’t eat it. It had a few slices of Sashimi style Ahi Tuna with a drizzle of ginger-soy dressing, crispy Coconut Shrimp and a mini version of Crab & Avocado Stack served with tortilla chips. The blooming onion was also too crispy and way salty! We ordered almost all of their main entrees which were also disappointing as they seemed smaller than pictured on menu. Not surprised though when they asked me if I wanted 6, 9 or 12 ounces of sirloin! I chose the 9 but I didn’t really know the size difference other than the prices. I found all the food to be extremely salty! Especially the lobster tails with my sirloin steak! We also ordered the Grilled Salmon, VICTORIA’S Filet Mignon with Portabella mushrooms topped with seasoned bistro butter, portabella mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. It only had two or one slices of mushrooms and a lot smaller than pictured. Service could haven better. We were suppose to have a birthday surprise and it didn’t happen so we ended up ordering desserts without the birthday surprise after we got the check! I informed the hostess and she didn’t even know about it. We spend $ 375.00 for 10 people only saw the hostess twice and only got two drinks refilled once for two of us and we had to ask the hostess for the refills along with water refills as none was ever offered. Sorry the food was way too salty and service could have been better. I also found the place a bit gloomy as all the blinds were closed and it was already getting a bit dark outside. Also one of the staff had to turn off the overhead fan because it was shaking and unstable and it could have been an accident waiting to happen.

Okay so I slummed it tonight. All these fantastic restaurants in the Bay Area and I went to the outback steakhouse! I guess because I just been back east I had a hankering for chicken on the barbie from a chain restaurant. We were seated right away as it wasn’t very crowded. The service was awful. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to even be acknowledged and then we gave our drink order and it took about another 10 minutes to get those. My boyfriend and I ordered the exact same thing: an appetizer to share, 2 cups of chicken tortilla soup, two chicken on the Barbie’s, and a baked potato to share. Should be easy right? Well the ahi tuna appetizer tasted like they cooked it a week ago pulled it out of the refrigerator. That scored 20 out of 100. Next up comes the chicken tortilla soup. But guess what? There’s only one! The waitress said she thought we only wanted one and she would put an order in for the other one right away. Guess what? She comes out next with our meals about 15 minutes later without the additional soup. I let her know that the soup never came. She said oh! I thought someone brought that out! Really? So my boyfriend said forget the chicken tortilla soup and we just started eating our chicken. I have to admit the chicken was good and so were the steamed vegetables. It’s just the service that was so horrific that I won’t go back again. In addition to the beggar out front who was begging me to give her money for chicken, that was just the end-all/be-all. Never again for a chain restaurant! I live in Marin County and work in San Francisco. What the hell was I doing it at an outback steakhouse?

Gosh! I haven’t been to Outback in years, but there it was, with its bright red sign beckoning us to get off the 101 freeway and into the parking lot. And when you’re HANGRY, you go. No brainer here: you have to get MMMeat. There are seafood choices and chicken on the menu but why would you? for only $ 20 you can get a 12 oz. NY strip(medium well please!) with healthy veggies on the side and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. That’s a great deal to me! Perhaps we should go to Outback more often? Hmm … and I need to get that Bloomin’ Onion next time! ;-)

Decent steak for good value. Isn’t that what Outback stands for? It’s like walking into a Subway — you pretty much know you’ll get a sandwich for a reasonable price. No surprises. This Sausalito location sticks to the promise. Seated quickly, we were served by a very attentive waitress. The steaks are in the range of $ 20, we got the New York Strip($ 22) which was considerably large(12 ounce). My medium-well version turned out to be a decent piece of meat — juicy but not too bloody, and not too dry. Mash(no gravy?!) on the side, plus a large Caesar’s. Deal! Located right off the 101 South towards SF. Perfect to finish off your wine county day trip without emptying your pockets.

I have been here a few times since moving to Marin and I am pretty impressed with this place, being a chain restaurant and all. The wait times have been reasonable, if any, and the staff is super friendly. The food is decent, I mean it’s no Buckeye Roadhouse, but for the price you get a decent meal. Portions sizes are good and the food is tasty. And their brown bread is the best. The service is attentive and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back here.

Right off the bat, downhill. They started off in the negatives. Despite sporadic open tables, we were asked to wait for 15 minutes. Got to our table and ordered drinks and specifically asked for water. No water but friendly waitress. Time to order: out of prime rib(typical on a Sunday night) but also out of the 10 oz ribeye. So, I go to order a porterhouse instead. Guess what? Out of that too. I came in for prime rib and didn’t get my first two choices. I had to settle for my third choice. I’d like to *think*(although I’m sometimes wrong) that I can make a pretty good ribeye at home. So when going out, I’d like to try something different. Could be better… if they had more items available on their menu. I look forward to going back but honestly, I’ll probably just go to one that’s closer to where I am. If I’m in the area again, I’ll give you a second chance to get more stars from my review.
