I haven’t been to many different locations but this is the largest I’ve seen so far! I lose track of time in here and next thing I know I’ve spent hours looking at different types of stencils. It has anything and everything you can imagine, I’ve never not been able to find what I’m looking for. It’s fairly new so it’s in pristine condition, always clean and organized. My only comment is the few times I’ve had to ask for help I’ve spoken to unenthused and kind of rude staff members. I’m no craft professional so my questions clearly show I’m a beginner, I just got the vibe that I didn’t belong because I wasn’t a veteran crafter.

I absolutly LOVE this store. I shop at Michaels as often as I can. They have everything you can imagine in regards to arts and crafts. Their store from Saugus is very big and clean. I can’t say the same about their store from Everet though.

Well, the Spirit of the Season apparently hasn’t found its way into this particular Michaels. I called yesterday to see if they had a certain item in stock, asking to spek to someone in the Chrismas section. I was transferred to a very gruff man who answered the phone with such a nasty tone that I knew this call wasn’t going to go well. I asked if he was in the Christmas section and he virtually yelled at me «I cover the whole floor!» Ok… Mr. cranky pants. I said very sweetly that I was looking for a certain item in the Christmas section and would prefer to speak to someone who wasn’t in a bad mood. Sortof hoped that he’d get the message that his attitude was coming across as just this side of homicidal. He then yelled«I’m the assistant manager!» So that entitles you to be a nasty pr*ck, does it? I then replied, still very sweetly, ‘then I’ll call back later” and hung up. Somebody needs to go back to Customer Service 101 class, because that kind of attitude just doesn’t cut it. I later went to the Everett store where I found what I was looking for. Without the rudeness. Not the first time I’ve encountered less than pleasant employees in the Saugus store. So it’s now at the bottom of my list when I’m looking for something, even though it’s the closest to my house. Rather drive to Everett or Danvers.

It’s the holiday season again and there is nothing I like better than shopping at Michael’s for all my holiday decorations. The store has everything, indoor and outdoor décor. The store is always clean and the staff is so helpful. I even signed up for the iphone weekly ad app for my phone and get all the great coupons right on my phone !!!1 Happy Holidays everyone.

I’ve always been pretty happy with this particular location’s selection. It’s huge, they seem to have everything. A better selection and prices are still found at Artist and Craftman but if you have a coupon this is not a bad place to go. I like it better than the Danver’s location. It is also much larger than Danver’s. They seem to have a hard time keep cashiers here, as they always seem to be short staffed and there are always lines.

The last time I was in the store, I was told I could use my educator’s discount on custom framing(this was great because I was bringing in two more prints). Of course I was told«No» when I brought in my prints(and I spent over $ 400 on framing). I asked the clerk to speak with the woman who told me yes and he said he would. Anyway, he just called me back & told me the woman claims to have no recollection of the conversation. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!

I LOVE this store. I have spent the past few weeks looking for gifts for my kids. Toys R Us didn’t have the things that I was looking for. Then I went to Michael’s and they had so many choices. Arts and crafts kits for boys and girls, Creative baking kits for the holidays and great stocking stuffer ideas in the $ 1 section. The store was neat and clean and best of all I had an email coupon for 20% off my entire order. I love this store and their new location is fantastic, close to other stores and eateries. I highly reccommend this store !

Why do I always spend at least an hour in here? Because they have so many things that I just want to buy! I always find the size paint brushes and certain paints I’m looking for. And there are always coupons in the Boston globe. They recently moved to a different plaza on route one, which is sad bc it use to be closer to my house but better because its next to panera and target! Woo hoo for less money in my wallet.

Its Michaels, you go there when you need something last minute for a craft you are working on… as I did! I tend to prefer AC Moore, but was in the area. They are a great store & I could spend hours in there, I tend to love crafts & crafty things… I just think they are over priced & I can often get more deals at AC(I have a card there & get TONS of coupons)!!!

Called to inquire about the availability of a product. They don’t seem to have a computer aided product search and had to put me on hold for several minutes while they searched. In addition their hold music was sooooo loud!

This is a very big, well stocked Michaels. I know it’s a chain but I was very impressed with this particular location. I stopped by because my roommate told me they had stuff for bachelorette parties, and I wasn’t disappointed. I got a boa for my sister(that’s what she wants, and I wasn’t going to argue iwith her), bachelorette party lottery tickets, and buttons. I also got some party beads! They also had a big selection of bags to use for the goodie bags the bridesmaids and I are giving people. I bought a package of 12 backs for less than $ 6. All and all, for less than $ 20 I am good to go, which makes me happy :)

Michael’s has come through for me on many occasions whether buying décor for the showroom at work, buying floral for a wedding archway I did for a friend, finding paper for homemade bridal shower invitations or buying the staedler technical drawing pens I’m addicted to. This specific store is always well stocked with an excellent variety of supplies no matter what your craft of choice is. The staff is a little… eh… but you usually don’t need them to find what you need on your own.

this isn’t the same one i’ve been to, but i like this place for a chain store. it has a lot of nice paint markers for cheap, and a bunch of other random stuff like cheap picture frames, wedding accessories. i agree, though, i feel kind of weird being in the store, but they have a good selection and good prices.

I love going to Michaels to pick up different crafts supplies. I usually go to the one in Everett. They have a huge selection of things. And, they are relatively inexpensive. I buy a lot of knitting supplies there and they are always nice and cheap!
