DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

So I didn’t expect this place to have a good selection of men’s shoes but I was pleasantly surprised.
This place is large, quite large actually. very expansive. They have a lot of specials for their shoes, color coded (not the actual one, just my rough memory), blue, yellow, orange, purple and so on. and it would be like 20, 40, 60 or 80 percent off the already discounted prices. They have plenty of boxes of those spandex looking socks that you can use if you aren’t wearing socks so it’s very clean.
The service is stellar. They were so helpful, very cheery and were abundant if you ever needed assistance. There’s plenty of parking in the lot so you’ll never need to find a spot.

I absolutely cannot stand shopping for shoes. I am incredibly picky when it comes to the style of my dress shoes that I can never seem to be satisfied. A couple weeks ago I stopped into DSW to hopefully find a new pair. I was actually impressed with their men’s shoe selection. There were a lot more options than I expected. The only downside is that they just didn’t seem to have any dress shoes that matched the style and price range that I wanted. I still splurged and bought a new pair of Sperry’s at a very reasonable price.
I do generally enjoy going into DSW. When I need new shoes, they will have something for me 90% of the time. I know my girlfriend found a lot of new shoe options and was very happy with her trip there.
I had little interaction with the staff at this location. They definitely seemed helpful to those who asked questions, and the employees at the checkout counter were quite efficient at their jobs.
There is really nothing to complain about at this store, but there’s also not much that wow’s me, and therefore I can only give it 3 stars. I hope that this review does not deter anyone from shopping here. You’ll most likely find what you need, or atleast an acceptable substitute.

Miles and miles and miles of shoes… In every style and color… It’s a magical place and I highly recommend signing up for their loyalty program. I get more deals in the mail that keep me coming back for more. I enjoy their clearance rack and appreciate the price guide — it helps! Inventory is pretty well organized and I love that I can try on a ton of shoes and never feel rushed! A great place!

looking for the right shoe for graduation, this place does not have the best selection. the place looks wanting, especially the displays up front. woah, get a design team in quick!

The service there is HORRIBLE! The associates are walking around aimlessly and then they start talking to eachother. I asked one women if she had a shoe in wide and she had a bad attitude and just replied «no» and walked away. Another women got upset because I didnt put back 2 pairs of shoes. I tried on 5 pairs and was going to by 3 of them but after dealing with her attitude I put the shoes down and left. I’ll never shop their again.

I’ve been to this store location a few times in the past. I enjoy getting shoes, who doesn’t. The problem is I seem to enjoy buying more than I do wearing them. I had bought a pair of boots at the Washington Street store in Boston and was going to this one in Saugus to return/​exchange the black pair I had for the grey, if I liked it when I saw it. I had gotten an 8.5 like a dummy because I am an 8 but when I was trying them on the day I got them for some reason it just wasn’t working out for me.
I was struggling with my decision and the staff was really helpful when I had asked if they had the black in an 8 (which generally everything they have on the floor is their stock), so I decided to stick with the boots I had originally bought.
I decided though, I needed stockings or tights with them and of course every pair I wanted they didn’t have in my size and the girl helping me out was pretty funny.
Although my shoe selection didn’t work out for me, I still wear the boots just with a thicker sock. They’re fine and I had a good experience there. They have a lot of shoes and its oddly set up with just rows and rows but definitely a great store to walk around in and check out all the different styles. I love the website as well, it’s dangerous.

Crappy men’s section. Tons of excellent women’s shoes.
