Lightwave Tattoo

I have had a couple of great experiences at light waves. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Their rates a reasonable as well. I saw the other reviews saying it was difficult to book an appointment with them, however I have never had that experience. I will be going back there to have a cover-​up finished today.

Anyone but Natan! I was Unilocaling and figured I would finally share this experience from a few years ago. My first post: I wanted a Natan masterpiece and I got a Natan disaster piece! I too was very excited to get inked by Natan because of his impressive portfolio online. I got a call from him about 2 hours before my appointment wondering if I had one. I should have been concerned but went in and showed and discussed what I wanted. He was unimpressed with my ideas I had, confident he could do better. I trusted him which still bothers me to this day. He drew up the outline (twin dragons on each of my shoulder backs) and I liked them. Stupidly I was enamored enough with his work online that we began soon after he whipped up. After he finished the first shoulder in 1.5 hours we took a break and I will never forget the moment I saw it in the mirror. I was in disbelief it was so bad. I didn’t know if was just me all disoriented by the needling or what. I was only half done too! I didn’t know what to do. I went back to the chair for round 2. Turns out it I was right. Everyone agreed my tattoo sucked. My mom said it looked «fuzzy». It looked like an apprentice did it. I wanted to go back and address with him but figured better to never let him touch me again and to turn the page. For 2 years I was embarrassed to show even close friends. I finally went somewhere else for a rework. I still don’t like it but at least I don’t hate it. BEWARE that all Natan cares about (my impression) money, NOT your piece! He may do masterpieces, but also disaster pieces!!! I got pictures to prove it! Do you want to take a chance?

I got a tattoo from Natan a few months back. I liked the shop and I really liked the people. I had a very positive experience while getting the tattoo. I did my research and believe Natan is experienced and very talented, how ever I am kind of disappointed with my tattoo and its quality. It’s on my leg, so I’m overall happy with it, but if it was on my arm or somewhere more visible I wouldn’t be very happy. The lines are very messy. It’s not very clean and the color bleeds out from the outline in most of the tattoo, certain shades of red just don’t fade into each other well. From a few feet away it looks great but if you get close its just not the quality i was hoping for. I have 4 other tattoos and they are just all better quality than this one, which really stinks cause I was really excited to have found Natan and even drive 2 hours each way for my appointments. I do believe he is a great artist and other work have seen of his is fantastic. I hate leaving a bad review, but I had to put it out there that I did not get a high quality tattoo. I will probably be going somewhere to try and get the lines cleaned up a bit.

Love it here… I’ve had two tattoos by 2 different artists and will return for more once I’ve decided on the ‘perfect’ back-​piece to compliment the feather Jeb did for me. Thank you! Definitely go!

I looked all over town for a Tatto Shop and Artist and found Natan at Lightwave Tatto. I checked out his work on his site, loved it and gave him a call. He was able to see me for a consult the next day and booked the session two weeks later. I had a great experience working with Natan. He created a work of art to cover-​up a POS Tattoo I got when I was 18. The shop is nice and exeryone else there was friendly. If you need a solid Tattoo this is the place to go.

I’m so glad to be writing a review for Lightwave, because seriously… no where else even compares. Everyone who works for this business is friendly, helpful and above all down to earth. I have been going to Natan Lin for now four years and he is in my opinion FANTASTIC. Not to mention Tegan, Sharon, Kelly, Joe, and Mulysa are phenominal artists as well. I recommend this establishment on just about an everyday basis to people I meet at work, or in passing. Check them out!
