I found her on Unilocal and was impressed by the previous cakes that she made, so I contacted her for cake details and she replied saying that she would be happy to do the cake I requested and that she would put some information together. I replied back with more information of what I wanted and a week later, still no response or information.
Also tried to call to follow up on my emails but the number didn’t work. Would’ve been nice to get an email saying that you can’t do it anymore instead of making your customers scramble last minute to find someone else to make the cake after you already agreed.

I contacted Annette about a wedding cake after deciding not to make it myself. As a former professional baker, I’m a bit of a cake snob. Annette delivered a beautiful toasted coconut confection that everyone enjoyed. The chocolate cake was one of the most moist I have ever tasted. Just as important, Annette was easy to work with and very accommodating, even sending me instructions on how to cut a wedding cake that I could pass onto the wait staff where we were having our celebration.

I had a June wedding at Quail Hollow Ranch and Annette was fantastic! She worked with me when I needed her to set up the cake at the last second and that’s not even the half of it! We had a rustic style cake with artificial flowers and the design was beautiful! The cake itself as far as taste goes was amazing!!! Moist and sweet! We also had cake-​pops which people grabbed them and ate them within two seconds! Long-​story short! She is prompt and very professional and offers a great product!

I contacted this place to do my baby shower cake and we provided a picture of what we would like. The day of the cake delivery I was BEYOND amazed! It was BETTER than we expected and everyone at the baby shower was in awe of the cake. No one wanted to cut it open and it was too pretty to eat. Once we cut open and ate the cake it was so delicious!!! I am keeping her information for any future needs of bakery and recommending her to everyone that needs a cake for their occasion.

I wanted to get the perfect cake for my daughters Sweet Sixteen Party. I was overwhelmed with things to remember for the party and I forgot to order the cake. I called around several specialty bakeries and they needed a week in advance to order a the type of tiered cake I wanted. I didn’t want something that lacked character or flavor. I did an internet search and that is when I found Annette. I only had three days to get this cake for the party. I contacted her told her what the occasion was, told her the color scheme of the sweet sixteen party and within 2 hours she emailed me several designs she had come up with for the cake. The only thing left was to choose which one we liked and our flavors. We had a 2 tiered cake, the top tier was chocolate with chocolate butter cream filling and the bottom tier was vanilla with a lemon butter cream filling. The cake was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! the taste was so fresh & delicious. The cake was also delivered to me at the venue I was hosting my daughters party at, her husband delivered and set the cake up for us. My search for a bakery has ended, all my cakes will be done by Annette. Thank you for helping a stressed out parent that had no idea how this cake was going to take shape and thank you for your kindness & proffesionalism on the phone. Your Cakes Are The Best.

I wanted to have a cute tiered cake for my first grandchild’s baby shower. I went to several local bakery and they mostly only allow orders from their pictured menu which is mostly boring flat sheet cake if I’m lucky to find one for baby shower. I waited too long and the baby shower was the day after thanksgiving so most of the cake specialty stores were either closed or need orders much longer ahead.
I found Annette on Unilocal and sent her my dream long list of design critirias within very short notice for a delivery date right after Thanksgiving day. She delivered the amazing beautiful cake beyond my expectation with a very reasonable price. She really pays attention to details. I wanted a stork with a baby in the bundle. She even has the hair on the bird and the baby’s head. She is truly an artist. She listened to what I wanted and make suggestion which turn out to be totally useful. The size of the cake I originally wanted was way too big for my party size. I’m glad I took her advise to order the smaller one. It turned out just right. The cake was the center of attention of the whole party. Everyone was amazed and taking turn to take pictures with it. I couldn’t thank her enough. I definitely recommend her for your special dream cake.

I wanted to do something nice for my wife for her birthday, other that the usual bakery cake. I was referred to The Sweet Stuff through a friend and iquired about availability on the user friendly website. The response was quick and accurate. I got more than i bargain for and Annette’s attention to detail were impecable.
No more «bakery» cakes for me!

Annette was extremely pleasant to work with! She helped fit my budget and did not give me a cake any less than amazing, it tasted delicious it loooked delicious she was by far the best Cakery i’ve met through my journies of various cake artists.

I am truly glad I found The Sweet Stuff Cakery! Annette did an excellent job in listening to me and delivered exactly what I wanted. She was very professional and did everything on time. When I met with her I was nervous about asking for something that would work for my budget. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind, gave her my budget, and then she told me what she could do. The Sesame Street cake she made for my son’s birthday came out beautifully and tasted just as great. I would recommend her to anyone!

With weddings being a generally happy time for couples, I was shocked at how many grumpy money-​grubbing people there were in the wedding business. I had to laugh when other bakers told me I was dreaming if I thought I could get a cake under $ 8 a slice that tasted even close to decent. I was ready to give in and buy Costco cheese cakes when I found Annette! What a breath of fresh air she was!!!
Annette made both the groomscake and my wedding cake, and she is truly an artist! If you are in the market fora gourmet cake for any occasion, I have three really good reasons you should choose her:
1) Her prices are affordable and she will work with you to plan a cake that will fit into your budget. She will make recommendations based on your budget, but doesn’t laugh at you when you tell her your price.
2) She is a total doll! My wedding nightmare had way more than its fair share of bumps along the road. Each time I met with Annette to plan out my cakes, she listened to me vent about my terrible MIL, complain about my wedding coordinator, and so on. She would offer condolences, try to help in any way she could, and was just genuinely the nicest person! You definitely dont feel like shes tying to rip you off, or as though you are just a $ sign to her. She is open to critiques, and when I wasnt totally satisfied with her first version of red velvet cake, she made me another one to try! You can be completely open and honest with her.
3) Her artistry is amazing. I had Annette go through multiple drawings of each cake. At first we had a dirt bike them for the groomscake and she had totally great ideas! Then we ended up going with the gold theme, and again she agreed to make a pic I found online. If you can show her want you want, she can replicate it!
Annette was also a whiz on email, which I appreciated given my super busy life. I would not hesitate to recommend her, and will use her in the future if I have a big event!

Im super excited with Annette’s services, as I have now named her my official cake designer! She’s a true artist at what she does!

I was throwing a celestial theme party for my daughter’s first birthday and already had a cake picture which I wanted for my party. Annette made it exactly what I wanted and she even prepared one small cake for my daughter.
Before deciding for Annette, I checked couple of other places but Annette pricing was very competitive and she did the free delivery too. I would definitely recommend her if you want a personalized cake.
