Baskin Robbins

My wife ordered me a Birthday Cake for my 50^th Birthday. She requested Mint&Chip with chocolate cake and fudge filling. The next day when I cut into my cake I discovered The cake was yellow and there was no fudge filling. Needless to say I was very disappointed since I get a Baskin-​Robbins cake only once a year. She called the store manager and expressed her disappointmentand was told that she could have a five dollar credit towards her next purchase. we don’t want a five dollar credit towards our next purchase, we just wanted what we ordered. The manager never agreed to make it right. This, in our opinion is very bad business. I called a different Baskin-​Robbins just to see what their reaction would be and that manager told me he would’ve just immediately replaced the cake with what I was supposed to get. guess we will be shopping for Baskin-​Robbins cakes elsewhere next time.

This place is awesome. They have many different variety of flavors to choose from. Customer service is excellent. I’ll be back for more.

If you want ice cream cake, pollard Baskin Robbins is the place to go. I called the the other Los Gatos location first and I got quoted $ 5 more for the same size! The girl on the phone here was much friendlier too. Los Gatos Boulevard is closer to me, but I’d rather support a franchise that values good customer service.

Love BR in general. This place has a family-​owned feel and the young people working there (think one young man is owner family) are very friendly and overall a happy experience! One employee (young high-​school or college aged girl) paid for a cake ordered for a sick patient with her own money. Very sweet.

I live for my Friday night Ice cream excursion!

This baskin Robbins has been a family favorite for many years. Beyond the Tuesday nite special the staff here are just awesome. Very nice and patient even on busy nites. Baskin Robbins had been a family choice for 2 generations and with the continued great service I am sure it will remain one. Did I mention my favorite is nutty coconut?

I was recommended to come to this Baskin Robbins by a good friend of mine. I cant say thank you enough to the wonderful staff at this particular BS and the owner, Ellen. On Tuesday, I needed to order two ice cream cake for my friend children’s birthday party on Saturday but the orders were specific on style, designs, colors, ice cream, cake for each ice cream cake. Since I live roughly 25 minutes away, Ellen and the staff were able to accommodate me by placing my orders via telephone and email. I had an opportunity to go to the store and see the size of the cake before the birthday party. My friend told me there were 25 kids at this birthday party. When I went to see the actual size of the ice cream cake it seemed small. I upgraded the size of my orders with Ellen and they were able to accommodate my request in short notice. The staff also helped me carry the two party size ice cream cake to my car because I had a little one with me on the day I picked up the orders.
The ice cream cake were delicious and fresh and the designs were laminated so the birthday boys were able to keep their ice cream cake design as a keepsake. What a great idea!!! I cant thank them enough for their time, professionalism, artistic design and their excellent customer service.
I live 25 minutes away from this Baskin Robbins but I will definitely come back here for future ice cream cake orders.

I’ve been down-​n-​out sick for a week. I’m talking non-​functioning, in pjs, haven’t left the house in days — kind of sick. And then, this morning, in my med-​induced-​deliriousness, I realize that it’s Valentine’s Day. Oh !@#$.
Now, I know that my boys (both husband and son) would understand if I came up empty-​handed this year. After all, in our home, we truly don’t believe that expensive gifts on this day are necessary or expected. Other days of the year? Sure — but not V-​Day. Instead, today brings the sweet gesture of showing love, when you can barely blow your own nose, that counts.
Questions to the masses: How to show my boys how much I love them? In one sweet gift? Ordering on Valentine’s Day? Without leaving the house?
Answer: Baskin Robbins.
I called up this BR close to my home and was greeted with a very personable and understanding voice. After I explained my mini-​predicament, a home delivery of their small ‘Conversation Heart Cake’ (chocolate on chocolate, of course) was set and delivered within 40 minutes.
Now, I’m not sure if delicious deliveries are the norm for them but I do know that my Hallmark-​holiday was saved. Thank you, BR for providing my sweet gesture (literally).

I love this Baskin Robbins! I use to think every BR is the same since it’s just a franchise but I was totally wrong. There is a Baskin Robbins on Los Gatos Blvd (2 minutes from my house) but since finding about this place I’d drive to this BR instead. The ice cream cake here is so fresh and yummy unlike the other BR on Los Gatos Blvd. The owner and the employees here are always so happy and helpful. The owner also makes her own fondants and designs of the ice cream at the shop and she is willing to work with the customers on the specific designs they want (other than just what is out of the cake books).
One time I ordered an ice cream to be picked up as soon as they open and the owner told me they open at 11 but if I needed it earlier I am welcome to pick it up at 10:30 and she can meet me there. When I got there at 10:40 she was so happy and she even gave my daughter a free ice cream cone!
This place has such great customer service and fresh delicious cake, I am always going to come to this BR for my ice cream cakes!

My kids and I love coming here. In fact most of the staff know us by name and what we like to order. On a hot day this is the best place to be. Even on a cold day, this is still relaxing. The owner designs some of the cutest ice cream cakes around town. She is so creative with her cakes.

We live nearby so we visit often. Really helpful and friendly staff! And, of course, great ice cream. Their Mint Chip is always what I think Mint Chip should be!

So, one wonders how in the world and ice cream store could rate anything less than 5 stars? If we distance ourselves from the presumed yumminess of the product, the inherent calorie explosion that awaits us, and the often nostalgic warmth that greets us in to the ice that is cream, then you are left with a regular restaurant, which is where the ratings come in.
Let’s just get this one out of the way. The product is 5 stars. Period… end of story… Actually, it should be docked a star for the inevitable extra laps I’ll need to do in order to work off the delectable sweetness that is B&R. Alas… I have not the heart to dock a bucket of ice cream. It can’t help being so mouth-​wateringly slatherable.
Now…the ACTUAL store, that is Baskin Robins, Los Gatos. I have been going to B&R stores for 37 years. I even managed one for 3 years during my late high school/​early college life (i.e. before I TRULY discovered beer). This location is hands down, the best location I have ever visited. As one would be assumed, the store looks the same as others, the product is the same, but what sets this store aside from others is the absolute total best customer service around. Whether you’re in the shop ready to mack on a 3-​scoop hot fudge pants-​expander, or ordering that special someone an ice cream cake, the folks at the Pollard Rd location are tops.
While I don’t go out to Ice Cream on a regular basis (maybe 10 – 15 times over the last 6 – 8 years), the folks in this shop ALWAYS make me feel like they’ve known me forever. Upon walking in to the sweet smelling room, I am always greeted, even when they are SWAMPED (they are positioned directly across the street from a middle school… they’re crazy). I believe the owners are a Korean family. I could be wrong, but they are the only ones who I have ever seen working there. No matter what pre-​pubescent chaos is going on, the folks behind the counter are cool, calm, and ready to sling your order with a smile.
Beyond the day-​to-​day stuff, we have ordered ice cream cakes on 4 occasions over the years. Each time, the order has been perfect, even when met with a quick time-​frame. One year, we even had a large custom order done within 24 hours… a major ordeal.
Lastly, the shop is always clean and well-​maintained. I have not personally ever seen it cluttered, even after the hormonal stampede that occurs everyday about 3:15pm. While they do not have a drinking fountain, they have a pitcher with water and cups ready to serve, which is a necessity after some of that belt-​expanding yumminess.
Suffice it to say, there are a couple other shops around (Coldstone and another B&R) but I go to this one, simply because I like giving them my business. THAT is the way it is supposed to be.

This Baskin Robbins is by far my favorite location out of all the ones in the bay. Why you ask? Because the cakes here are so unique and different from other Baskin Robbins. Most Baskin Robbins offer the normal oreo cookie cake with oreos and the signature flowers with a simple design, but this location has Hello Kitty! They have real cute and rare designs. The price isn’t bad compared to other ice cream cake places and on top of the cute designs, the customer service there is awesome! The two ladies there are so nice and will treat you like royalty with a big happy smile :) If you need an ice cream cake, but want something more than the plain BR cakes you can get anywhere, stop by this location and you won’t be disappointed!

How can you possibly go wrong with ice cream? I remember Baskin Robins as being the ice cream store it was a big deal to get to go to. It was always the reward for being good. It still has it’s old school charm about it with some new crazy flavors. Luckily they’ve kept Daiquiri Ice, the best flavor in the world.
