Throughout our home buying experience, we felt Ketan has been a strong asset on our side and guided us through the entire process. He not only steered us in the correct direction, but stood by us as needed. I would highly recommend Ketan as a Real Estate Agent.
We met Ketan during an open house he was hosting. We loved the way he answered the questions and were quite taken with his attention to details. We had been in the process of buying home for couple of years and had gone through a couple of Realtors. We had to drop those real estate agents, mostly because we were very dissatisfied with the service we got. In Bay Area there are often competitive multiple offer situations, and you want somebody who understands the market and can guide you what to bid and how to bid. Most Realtors we had used before were either clueless or did not have a keen sense of market conditions. Ketan had neither of these problems, he was comfortable telling us, what he thought would be the likely price the home would go at and was able to advise us on the proper ranges we should bid at.
Our first home we bid with Ketan was in Santa Clara– going to Cupertino school district. We bid on the lower end of the range Ketan gave us. We had just looked at the home a day before the offers were being accepted. Ketan in spite of knowing we had less chance of getting the home, worked like a whirlwind to get the offer ready on time and advised us on how to sweeten the offer better. We ended backing out at the last second, deciding that we did not like the neighborhood. Ketan was very accommodating and not only did he put our mind at ease, but said «This was a good thing to do, now you know better what you want and that in itself had made his efforts worthwhile». I think most other real estate agents would have been bugged by this and probably would have written us off.
We then gave Ketan very strong guidelines on the kind of home we wanted. Ketan was very happy and said he will watch out for the home and encouraged us to go and see some open houses. Ketan called us and said you should come and view this particular home. We decided to visit the home along with 5 other open homes on the same weekend. He knew all the five homes we were going to visit. He understood us so well, that he knew that we would only pick the 2 of the 5 homes that we would like (the one he insisted we come and look, the other that came close to our criteria). Ketan then was able to guide us on which one we should pick.
Obviously we liked the home that was out of our price range better. This is when Ketan’s keen insight helped us. He understood the home we really liked and explained the market conditions for that specific home. He negotiated extremely well and saved us several thousand dollars and enabled us to purchase the home. My friends still don’t believe that I actually got a home in the Bay Area, and several 10s of thousands of dollars below the asking price. Needless to say we would not have even looked at the home we bought, without Ketan.
We had also decided to go with the in-​house Alain Pinel Realtors mortgage broker. There were quite a few issues with funding my loan and throughout the entire process, Ketan went above and beyond what was needed. He was continuously on contact with both me and loan agent and had our back throughout the process until the loan was funded.
TLDR, We are really happy in our new home, and highly recommend Ketan to all our family and friends as our exceptional Real Estate professional who can help meet their Real Estate needs.
