It’s tradition for us to visit Splash Sun & Swim each year we’re in Siesta Key. It’s a «fun» and fairly inexpensive store. You can find a wide variety of items here that are good for the beach — swim suits, beach toys, etc. as well as your basic souvenirs and trinkets. The location is challenging as you can’t make left hand turns into or out of the store…

Good selection of swimwear, shark tooth rakes, siesta key gear, shoes, sunglasses, and many other gifts. They always seem to be running sales so it likely beats gift shops from expensive siesta key.

My husband and I stopped here on the way to Siesta Key beach to buy a new beach umbrella. We got one for $ 26.00, not the best price but all they had. Anyway, on the beach we opened it and spokes started falling out. Then one came out permanently and wouldn’t go back in. We stopped back by there on the way home to exchange it. The woman at the counters said, Well, you used it. Hello, for a minute before it broke. A young girl who I assume was the manager was making faces at me the whole time. They were very rude and reluctant to exchange it. I would have asked for my money back but didn’t want more abuse. I think something you buy should last more than a day. Left the store so mad! Won’t go back there again!

This place is a tourist trap. Everything is non refundable and over priced. Drive down the road to Target and get the same items for a quarter of the price with a return policy.

GOELSEWHEREANDSAVEYOURMONEY! I purchased a portable beach cabana for my 4 month old infant to use on the beach for shade. I got this piece of junk back to my hotel in Clearwater and set it up four hours after I purchased it and it fell apart. Four of the six tabs where the tent poles go in to erect the tent, came completely unraveled. I called the store to explain what happened and they said«no refunds.» They also would not accept the return by mail since I am staying over an hour away and I live 1300 miles away. $ 25 totally wasted!

This place has a good selection of swim wear and beach supplies. The sale items are reasonable but other items seemed a bit over priced. They also have a section of gifts and souvenirs for the unlucky people you left behind. This store is right next to the way overpriced swim city so walk in there first for sticker shock and then mosey into Splash.

Apparently this store does not stand behind their merchandise. We purchased 2 skim boards for our grandkids, and when one began peeling apart after only 45 minutes of use, we tried to return it. The manager-of-the-day refused. She implied that most people are tourists, so they don’t care if the items fall apart after just a little use. We paid $ 23 dollars for the board, and expected it to last longer than less than an hour. We’re not tourists, and we will steer all our visitors away from this junk shop.

Nice accessories, suits, beachaccessories, etc. A little over priced, but for the quality not too bad.

Love this place! We always come here for gifts and last minute beach gear because the variety is amazing and the prices are the best. Same stuff sold here and on Siesta Key island for half the price. Highly recommend coming here the first day you start your vacation… you will enjoy stocking up on fun stuff for the beach/pool.
