Nice vegi phở I got today, so was my partner’s beef phở. As for our take out, my chicken fried rice had too much unnecessary seasonings in it and I could feel it left on my tongue, not good… *update: after I ate my leftover vegi phở, I had headache. I think it’s that extra seasoning they put in. Will not return.

This is the best bowl of phở tai I’ve had in Florida and I’ve tried many. It was very flavorful with a lovely aroma and depth. The meat was plentiful and tender with no gristle. Everyone working there is very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is immaculate! Hubby had bun bo hue and it was also terrific. Lots of lemon grass flavor and spice, but not too much.

I’m a big fan of phở and Phở 101 delivers. My wife had the beef slivers phở and I had the chicken phở. Both were really good. We also got an order of Krab Rangoon, which the server told us was hand made on the spot. The only bad spot was the service, as our server seemed very uninterested in her job and never even offered to refill our waters. Other than that it was really good and it’s worth a try!

Excellent casual dining with Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. The ambience is very casual, nothing to write home about. But the service was very good and the entrées were excellent — plentiful, authentic, and delicious. I had the special vermicelli — a tasty dish of noodles, BBQ pork, grilled shrimp and more. I highly recommend it. Nearly all the meals are less than $ 15. Most are in The $ 10 range. But don’t let the price fool you, they are delicious. My only complaint is that the wine selection is not so great and is very narrow. Go with the Saigon Vietnamese beer instead. We’ll be heading back soon.

This food is fabulous: fresh, excellent cuts of meat, seasoned perfectly, generous portions; just as if I was back in my childhood friend’s house with her grandmother and mother cooking homeland foods. Thank you, we will be back.

Phở is decent. Their fried rice is terrible. Better options than this folks. I am not a fan of ethnic foods prepared to please 85 year old clients. Make the food that you would eat… it’s 2016 and we are not seeking food prepared with frozen ingredients. Seriously.

Wonderful food! First experience with Vietnamese food and we were all very pleased with each of our entrees! The egg rolls and steamed dumplings were amazing… A staple that can sometimes be overlooked. We will return on our frequent visits to Sarasota!

I am an extremely picky phở eater, and overall I enjoyed this place. I love that Vietnamese is becoming more popular in Sarasota and this is a good introduction for newbies in a very friendly environment. Service was excellent, so friendly and fast. The egg roll was just ok, but you could tell homemade. I wish they would use the traditional dipping sauce vs the sticky sweet sauce they do. Of course, it’s all about the broth… I got shrimp phở and the broth was clean, fresh and flavorful. Good noodles, they held up nicely even in my leftovers. I loved how many shrimp they gave me and their homemade chili sauce. HOT! Ask for this as only sriracha is on the table and if you don’t want to ruin your phở. If you’re comparing local places, the broth here is a tad less«deep» than compared to phở Cali and phở Saigon, to whom I do have to give the edge. The egg rolls are better too at PC&PS. However, this is a really good option AND they are open all day including Sundays, which I appreciate since I always seem to want phở when typically most places are closed. Just improve the egg rolls and I’ll be back!

Stumbled across Phở 101 and couldn’t have been more pleased. The phở is perfect. It was delicately seasoned and not a salty bouillon based soup. This hit a home run in my book. If I lived near Sarasota, this would be a regular stop for me. My wife was equally pleased with her order of fried tofu. I don’t think that you can go wrong here

Unlike many phở places in sarasota(who tend to add an undigestible amount of MSG to their broth) the stock was incredible. Very flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh. My mom and I went on a Friday night. Fairly busy, but we were seated immediately by a very attentive waiter. I ordered a coconut boba tea and the beef phô, which came out quickly! I highly recommend this place!

I went here for lunch today with my girlfriend and we decided it was worth writing a review. We started with an order of Egg Rolls and the Crab Rangoon. The a Egg Rolls were amazing. Light, crisp, delicious. The Rangoon was really good as well. Nice rich flavor. The skin was a bit crunchy in my opinion but otherwise amazing. The Phở had a ton of flavor, the if you like it hot ask for the hotter red Chile sauce out of the kitchen… It will light you up! The server was incredible, friendly and he had so much pride in his work and the restaurant. I would definitely come back here again.

Happy to see more Vietnamese restaurants in SRQ! Food was great! Phở dac biet was filled with meat and the broth was very flavorful. The lemongrass chicken salad was good, the chicken was more like roasted chicken rather than lemongrass(very little LG flavor), but still good. Café sua da wasn’t great and it took quite some time to arrive. Their waitstaff is still new and not viet from who I saw our guy seemed a little confused with the menu but he was friendly. Not a huge selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes they definitely kept some Chinese options on the menu — the calamari is similar if not the same as yummy house. Our server kept saying their boba is very good, but I forgot to ask if it was made with fresh ingredients or not, will be back to try it for sure! I’ll put Phở 1012nd to Miss Saigon for now ;)

Basic Phở. It was ok. Noodles were spaghetti-esque. I’ll go back but not in a rush to. Service was great!

I had a taste for phở so I decided to try this place. Wow… I don’t write bad reviews… The service was decent however, you didn’t serve phở you served spaghetti noodles in broth. It’s ironic you chose Phở 101 as your name because it truly does fit… a beginner — amateurish effort… I’ll be waiting for Phở Cali to open back up.

The food is excellent, I had the beef phở and the broth was delicious! We have had a few different flavors of the boba tea which is good as sometimes we pop in just to grab some tea while we are out, wish all the boba tea flavors weren’t blended though, I enjoy just the boba tea when it’s not blended and thick.

Got the beef and meatball phở. It was really good. The broth was flavorful and the meat was tender and tasty. Pretty huge portion with lots of noodles and a good amount of meat too. Service was excellent. Very friendly. The owner came by and welcomed me, asking if I had any questions. I would come back for sure.

So we came out here from the Orlando area to check out Siesta Beach, and of course it had to rain. We had 2 options, go home or go eat. Being on vacay, and being Asian, we naturally wanted Asian. There are a few Phở spots in the area, but we chose 101 because it was relatively new and had some good reviews. I love me some phở. And we have some of the best phở spots in So-Cal. So my standard for any Vietnamese restaurant is how good the phở is. And this place is pretty good. I mean it’s actually surprisingly good for a resort area Phở joint. The broth was flavorful. The temperature was perfect. The noodles weren’t over cooked and the ingredients tasted like a good bowl of phở should. I would definitely recommend this spot to any phở fans in the area. Siesta was a bust, but Phở 101 saved the day.

First time trying this new place. The staff was extremely pleasant, everyone we came in contact with had a huge smile on thier face and made sure we were well taken care of. The food phở was excellent and very fast. Broth had a lot of flavor and the meat was good quality. Prices are typical for most Vietnamese places. Also there was a customer that was unreasonablly compaliaining about them not having a kids menu and the staff handled it very well. Only issue is the menu was not very large but I’m sure everything else on it is just as good as the phở. I would come back for sure!!!
