the name says it all. Eat Here. and Eat Here now. honestly, i wanted to try Eat Here because it had a clever name. but guys, Eat Here has so much more to offer. my family walked into the restaurant and was seated almost immediately. there was a great musician playing the piano! the cocktails at Eat Here were the best i have tried in siesta key! the sunset martini is a must try. for appetizers, our table split the bruschetta. my whole family agrees that the bruschetta was top shelf. you get about 6 pieces of warm garlic bread. my family of four demolished it. for dinner i had the Lobster and Shrimp Tacos. best fish tacos around. you get two large tacos, but i could have easily eaten a third. i had bites of my mom’s Island Style Ribs. a few of the ribs were pretty fatty. the side brussel sprouts were excellent– perfectly seasoned. Eat Here has a very diverse menu. from fresh sea food to veal meatloaf, they have a little bit of everything.

Outstanding! Wonderful ambience, service and even better food! We had heard many good comments about Eat Here, and they all proved to be true. We started with the Bruschetta, unique in presentation yet incredible flavor. Then my wife and I both went with specials: she the Swordfish and me the Yellowfin Tuna. Both were expertly prepared and with the sides provided an incredible taste treat. We’ll be back to Eat Here again!

Julia, our server was WONDERFUL !! She gave us some great suggestions and we chose the chopped kale salad and grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes. Awesome food, good, background music, fast service and a place to come back to again. Such a nice atmosphere and wonderful food !!!

This place rocks! The food was awesome, but just as good was the service… We went strong on the desserts and I will tell you it was the best! The pineapple cake was the winner for sure, others babbled about how good the cheesecake was, and they may have been right, but I really liked it all! Thank you Eat Here for a great experience on this beautiful island! The McKays and Grandma!

This was almost the worst restaurant experience my husband and I experienced ever in our 32 years, and I work in a very well-known restaurant. We go in, wait almost 10 minutes before our server came to get our drinks, and when she finally came, we felt we were judged immediately for being a younger couple. We were dressed nicely, and wanting a good meal while on vacation, but were quickly disappointed. We got 2 draft beers(an amstel light, and a Dogfish 60 minute IPA), and the chef’s special(blackened shrimp tacos with a red pepper aoili), and our bill was $ 46.01. Not too bad, but there were 2 little tacos each with no sides or salads. The tacos were just all right, but definitely felt we were ripped off. Also, there was hardly anyone in there(on a Saturday at 6:30pm), and they seat an elderly couple, literally, right beside us, and the man could not clear his throat the whole time they were seated next to us. All my husband and I could hope for, at this point, was to just get our meal, and get the f*** out. Then, come to find out our meal was nothing more than a freakin snack. We were so disappointed with our experience we almost dined and dashed(which is something I would never, ever do working in a restaurant). We didn’t, by the way, and left 20%, because it wasn’t the server’s fault. Overall, our experience was horrible, definitely not worth it, and annoying. Eat somewhere else, but don’t Eat Here!

Aaron, the greeter/host was so very gracious and welcoming! He had wonderful recommendations. He even let me try their special rum! The food was exquisite! The hummus and bruschetta are a must! This place is a GEM!

Happy hour is a MUST here! Ask for either Erin Peterson or Phil at the bar… They are the BEST!

Food, drinks and service was great … Open kitchen and sat at bar. Older gentleman doing potatoes and salads kept playing with his beard and coughing in his hand … Didn’t order anything her cooked but this place would get a 5 star all the way if they didn’t have him … It was gross to sit at the bar and watch this …

Phenomenal. You won’t be disappointed. Great menu — better service. Top notch on Siesta Key. Glad we found this hidden gem tucked in the«back lot». You will love it. Sit at the bar and take in the great conversation. It’s worth it.

You’ve got to try it! Excellent food, excellent service! Hubby had the veal meatloaf and I the fish of the day, Cobia. Superb! Substituted the kale for the potatoes and it was excellent. Crème Brûlée for dessert — Splendid! Hope to come again before we leave!

Like all restaurants in Siesta Key, it is overpriced but at least at this place the service and food are both fantastic! We will Eat Here again next time we’re in Siesta Key!

This isn’t a bad spot to dine. The parking is ok, they are kid friendly and there wasn’t a wait. The boys loved making their own pizza and we thought the appetizers(beet and bruschetta) were pretty darned good. I wish the décor wasn’t so dark and 1980s but otherwise this is a very good choice in the middle of all of the action.

I had to say, I was really skeptical of anything in Siesta Key actually being good, but this place was lovely! To begin with, the hostess seated our group of 7 within a half hour on a Friday night, which I found totally reasonable. Our server, Jackie, was fabulous all night, answering all questions, obliging all requests, and happily giving us all the free glass of wine we received from our Unilocal check-in. We started out with the poutine appetizer, which tasted great, but as a poutine purist, I didn’t find to be exactly authentic(I’m snobby about my cheese curds, sorry). The entrée menu looked awesome and I had a tough time deciding, but ultimately settled on the mussels. I swapped out my frites for bread for no additional cost or hassle. They tasted great! I was pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and overall quality of this restaurant.

The food was rather average for the price. It was Applebee’s quality at about 30% more in price. My husband had the Mahi special and it was way too salty. I had the beef tenderloin, which was fine, but for the price I expect special. Our server was very good and the other staff was friendly. They are just priced out of their league.

Started with great appetizers and cocktails. Didn’t have to wait too long for a walk in table of 7, and Jackie was way cool to have as a server. Bacon grilled cheese did not disappoint!

This place has tons of options for vegetarians. We ordered way to much food. The Mediterranean hummus, pesto, roasted red pepper and tapenade appetizer was addictive. The menu changes which is great for diversity and trying new and different things. Everything was fresh and cooked perfect. Oh and the cocktails there, yummy! Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff.

3.5 not more. Two great dishes, the rest were just ok. Parrot fish special and seafood stew were both exceptional The French onion soup, and chocolate bodino dessert were very average. Not sure if they believe their own hype on the soup? Also had a chicken pizza special and a half chicken. Was hoping for better.

My favorite dinner place in Siesata Key! Poutine appetizer was generous(great value for Happy Hour) & $ 5 happy hour wines from 5:00 — 6:30. The sausage flatbread pizza was very good, not dry like most flatbread pizzas. And the fine chopped kale salad was incredible with a very flavorful champagne vinaigrette — very hearty & filling for a salad. The vanilla crème brûlée was out-of-this-world delicious. Great flavor and texture juxtapositions. The indoor ambiance looked gorgeous, but we sat outside at the high-top tables and enjoyed the warm weather before heading across the street for dessert #2 at SubZero(another Must Eat place).
