Delicious breakfast crêpe. Extremely friendly service. My new favorite breakfast place. I’ll be back to try lunch.

Sold –new Italian owners. Still figuring it out but tasty. Same menu. Had to ask for coffee refills and creamers. Seemed like they are learning how to serve. Will give it another try in a couple of weeks. Crepes are delicious and still reasonably priced.

Totally mediocre joint. I had the gyro and fries platter. The gyro meat was the typical pre-processed stuff and the tomatoes were old and showed signs of previous refrigeration. The fries were run of the mill cut and type while the ketchup was a strange brand that tastes like cinnamon. Bottom line: Go somewhere else for a decent meal. Alma’s is just a typical, average place that is not remarkable at all.

We were turned into Alma’s by a friend of mine who says he eats here 2+ times a week! I figured at that rate, it’s gotta be good. We decided to just drive up and order at the counter, although while we were there I saw somebody call an order in. We were greeted by an extremely friendly and kind person who I can only assume is Alma. She was very polite and made us feel very welcome. We both decided to go with the Gyro with Fries. I substituted red onions for white onions and she took it with no onions. The wait time was very short, the entire restaurant is cozy, well decorated and very clean. We browsed the rest of the menu while we waited and were very impressed with the wide array of foods you could order. The food was ready to go and the lady who helped up checked each box to ensure our substitutions were correct, we appreciated that. We got home and dug right in. The fries are incredible. Lightly crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, great flavor and the right amount of salt. It almost felt like a sin to put ketchup on them! The Gyro was incredible. I’m not the authority on the perfect Gyro but I believe this is it. The meat was moist, flavorful and plentiful, paired perfectly with the tomato’s and, for me, the white onions. The sauce was incredible. It has a very light almost sweet. Cucumber undertone, not over powering and went nicely with the meat. The pita was thick, soft, warm and held together throughout the entire meal. My girlfriend had the same experience. We agreed that it’s not often you can eat such a great, filling lunch for under $ 10.00 a person, we are very excited to come back for an early breakfast and enjoy a meal in the restaurant. Our compliments to the chef!

Stopped by here with my wife on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch and had an excellent experience. This is a small, family owned place in a strip mall and serves great food. My wife had the Grecian crêpe and I got the Paris crêpe with a side of the pea soup. The pea soup was perfectly seasoned and both of our crepes were heavenly. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Wow… AMAZING food. Just walked out and felt the need to tell everyone how good this place is. Country Benedict was enough for a couple of people! My husband had the original crêpe with bacon and he cannot stop smiling and saying«it was the best thing he’s ever had.» Alma and her daughter are so sweet, too!!!

Went for lunch and ordered a crêpe and Greek salad. It was fast, cheap, and the food was great! The owners are incredibly friendly and the service is attentive. A nice little place to enjoy a good meal.

As a crêpe lover I wanted to check this place for so long. Finally I got there a couple weeks ago the first time and a few days ago — the second. Did not give the place 5 stars for the quality of a crêpe dough — they should be nice golden yellow coloured not dark and more tender not crispy for dessert crepes. But breakfast and lunch ones are good for the savory fillings they serve them with. My favorite is Al Mare with scallops and shrimps. Also wish they would serve a variety of teas not just single choice of yucky Lipton. Expect a long waiting time on weekends — this place is packed especially on Sunday after the church. Anyway, it is a lovely, family owned dinner with yummy freshly prepared food.

Alma’s is simply the best. The value for the exceptional food quality is astronomical, really. My husband always gets the gyro pita and the meat is consistently flavorful and tender. As much as I try I can’t seem to not order the Zorba crêpe. So so delicious. The best part about patronizing Alma’s, however, isn’t the quality of the food or the affordability. It’s the absolute darling people who run the establishment. I love their smiles and their friendliness and it genuinely brings us joy to dine here.

This is a homey, small café with great food and a friendly eager-to-please family running it. I’ve only had brunch there but it’s been delicious every time. Vegetable Scramble with a side of potatoes, and they are super-accommodating about leaving out the peppers, onions and cheese that I’m allergic to! Friends have thoroughly enjoyed their crepes.

This place was great. I’m pretty sure it’s family owned and they are the nicest people and their food is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed the deliciously prepared crepes. There was love in every bite. Lol Everything that came out if that kitchen looked really good. The quality of the food along with a great price and super friendly people make this an outstanding restaurant Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed

What a wonderful place! This tiny spot may not look like much, you may even miss it as you drive by, but it was a place that made me feel so at home. My Grandfather used to make a habit of bringing them bags of lemons from the trees on his property so they could use them in their dishes. Grandma doesn’t get to do it often but I picked the lemons and so, to Alma’s we went! The family who owns and runs the place was so happy to see my grandma again and very pleased with the lemons. Wonderful people! Now to the food, I ordered a heaping plate of lasagna… omg it was definitely enough for dinner and then for lunch the next day, too! Plus, every meal comes with a fresh, crunchy house salad. I think my grandma got one of the fish dishes and, of course, loved it. Our waitress, daughter to the owner was so sweet and always smiling. Next time, I’ve been told I need to try one of the crepes! Can’t wait! It makes me really happy to see that in Sarasota, which feel like the land of chain restaurants, this tiny, family owned spot is still shining.
