I went here with my co-worker and got some lottery tickets. I can’t believe the Powerball prize is $ 900 million! This small liquor store also has an ATM inside with a $ 2.50 charge.

Great friendly people here, I love this place. I’ve haggled here plenty of times and they’ve also put up with me plenty of times on my walks around here. Ha this is definitely a guy that will give you a high five and say yo. They have a great selection of shots here. Liquor shots that is, not that energy stuff. They do have some good energy drinks here tho. I’ve done pretty good with my scratchers here. I won ten dollars here off of one scratcher once. Hey stop by say yo to Wayne and tell him Luke sent you. The prices aren’t too bad if ya got the gift of gab. I like them.

If you want alcohol, Wayne’s has got some. Pretty much bare minimum when it comes to buying liquor. Sketchy place overall. Bare minimum service. Not a great selection but not without essentials.

Wayne’s has unpriced mainstream beer, pricey hard liquors and wines. chips, ice cream, lotto tics too. just went for 2 lotto tics. other items overpriced/unpriced. very small shop… as big as a closet.

Was walking down the street today and was looking for a potential place to buy my Mega Millions winning ticket when I spied a crowd, small but still a crowd, huddled inside Wayne’s lovely Liquor store. Hopped on in, paid for my tickets, received my tickets, and kept on moving! Now, time to win.

Passed by 100s of times and finally bought something here. A fine experience and I appreciated the out-the-door pricing. $ 2 was printed in the cooler for a 32 of Miller High Life, and $ 2 was what was called for at the register. And a fine price at that, as I look on and see a 24 of the same vintage is $ 1.79, not including CRV and tax. Wasn’t a great selection, but worked for me in a pinch. Oh, and this baby was COLD. Had to keep switching hands and the cold burned my hand even through the paper bag. I think all the fools in line for Nan King were jealous of my prize. Perfect to split between 2 when you eat at the Thai place on the corner, one of my favorites, which allows BYOB.

Sorry. Screw Wayne. Look, I’m not looking for 5 star service and I know it’s a transactional type romance, but don’t bite the hand that feeds you. As a candy-holic as I am, you know I’ve been coming to your store when I can. I know my Reese Pieces Butter Cup addiction pays your rent. I don’t understand the snobby attitude nor shifty eye surveillance in your 6 foot X 6 foot life size vending machine. I was really offended when you gave me the sighs and coughs while you tried to prod me into purchasing the cacao concoction when no one else was in the store! Trust me busta, if I was going to steal something, it wouldn’t be the pack of Runts. Anyways, I’m a big supporter of mom and pop shops, but don’t do me any favors Wayne, I’m taking my business elsewhere. All 60 cents worth of it.

I lived in a residential hotel on the same block as this place for my first few months in the city. You can understand, I hope, what a profound thing it was to have a liquor store which shared my name so close, and where that fit into the whole residential hotel experience… It’s one of those hole in the wall places, without much unique charm. If you’re there for liquor, the selection is better than you might expect, although the prices are just a touch gougy. They do furnish some very cheap beer, though, so you can drink at any budget. If you’re looking for anything that doesn’t contain alcohol, you won’t have any options; there are cigarettes and sodas and a few grabby items, but most of the inventory here is of the boozy variety. Which is, I guess, as it should be. The women who work the counter here are friendly and welcoming, which is an endearing break from the norm. I’m pretty sure this is a family-run place, as once or twice there was a girl working behind the counter who couldn’t have been more than sixteen. She was nice, too. There are places nearby where you can save a quarter or two on your miserable vices, but this little shop stands out as the sort of place you can feel okay about your money ending up.
