So I came here last week because it was right around the corner from our hotel. UM this was NOT your ordinary Walgreen’s! It was memorable enough for me to want to write a review about it! I also started referring to it as «our Walgreen’s» by the end of the trip!
This place had almost everything you can imagine at a convenience store! Albeit we were looking for handwarmers and they don’t have them… But everything else we were looking for they had!
Smart because they have all the sample /​travel sized knick knacks right near the door. Selection is great! They also have some alcohol towards the back.
Great store. Convenience is key !!

Great Fisherman’s Wharf locations. One stop shop for souvenirs, Ghiradelli chocolates, snacks, photo needs, pharmacy, cold drinks, you name it!
They also sell the 3 and 7 day Muni passes, a great deal if you plan on riding the cable cars.
The F line is located right outside the doors, as well as some other bus lines, and it’s in walking distance of Pier 39 and area hotels.
Quick and easy!

The line for this place disorganized compared to some other Walgreens in the city, just a big blob that starts in between two little promo/​accessories stands. If you’re wearing camouflage pants, someone may joke that they’re broken because they can still see you.
They don’t have an ATM machine so we just bought a pack of candy and got cash back — no fees this way.
Three stars instead of two because they have tons of Haribo snacks towards the front, below the registers on the right.

I usually don’t take the time to review a Walgreens Store, BUT this is not your ordinary store! In my very humble opinion, this place rocks when buying souvenirs. Awesome selection and affordable prices. Framed photos @ $ 16? Plus it’s to overran by tourists.

Limited selection, but this place saved me the first time I had a systemic allergy to shellfish. Thank goodness there is Benadryl to be chewed. Sure, at first I was against the commercialization of fisherman’s Wharf but that changed when I needed something. Also able to buy a nice warm hat at 1⁄3 of the price of the street vendors. Sad, but I did it anyway. Who’s the hypocrite? That’s me, but at least I’m a breathing, warm hypocrite. It’s a little annoying because a lot of their stuff is locked up and staff is hard to wrangle.

Thank you for being open and there for me when I needed you at the most urgent times. I came in here with my friends many times within the three nights I stayed near the Fisherman’s Wharf. My friend was able to buy a souvenir for her family, so having a nice section of touristy items at the front of the store definitely helped. The Ghirardelli chocolate squares packages retailed at around $ 8~10 at Ghirardelli Square was sold at a nice offer of 2 packages for $ 6, so that’s quite a bargain for those wanting some good quality chocolates.

Unhappy employees lol but I love that they have everything I need. From Chapstick to Drinks to Souvenirs to Deodorants.
It’s also conveniently located on the same street as the last stop of the F train. So when I don’t have 2 dollars, I go in the store and the employees are always kind enough to break my $ 5.
I find that awesome!

open late, this walgreens has way more goodies than the local ones in sac, all somehow packed into a smaller store. Tons of S.F. trinkets and knick knack type stuff. Not to mention they carry bumble and bumble…

I have always headed to the local Walgreens and Walmart when I’m traveling for souvenirs as well as regulars needs.
This location won’t let you down. Stop by before you go to watch the bushman around the corner and stock up on your inexpensive snacks and soda or milk or water. Pick up your Tylenol or antiseptic gel to keep the cooties off.
What ever you need, this location has it, at a great price compared to the other spots around the corner.

This is a classic Walgreens. A good place for Fisherman’s Wharf tourists to pick up some munchies for the room, some cheap souvenirs, and whatever toiletries you run out of. It’s not exciting, it’s Walgreens.

Scott wanted to buy his fiancée some Ghirardelli chocolate squares so we went to a chocolate store by the wharf and one bag was $ 8! So we went to Walgreens and picked up 3 bags for $ 10. Made for a nice dessert getting back to the hotel. It’s your typical Walgreens but when you’re looking for normal-​ish priced stuff it’s a buck saver!
