Variety Convenience Store

Weird little convenience store in the neighborhood. They have a wide selection of chips and candy. But they also have a bunch of weird stuff that you wouldn’t expect in a convenience store, like stuff they’ve found around the street or something. Weird.
They have a wide selection of cheapo beers in large bottles. Malt liquor and high alcohol stuff. But then, behind glass they have some of the good stuff like Anchor Steam.
They happily put the beer in a brown paper bag so I could take it to go.
While in here, I got stopped by someone who looked like they must’ve been on something good, because they were babbling incoherently, were wearing bedroom slippers, and staring at the beer selection. The staff acted like this kind of thing happened all the time.

This store seems to cater to the neighborhood — and the bedbug infested SRO right next door. It has everything that you could want, from a convenience store, dusty bottles of wine, handles of smirnoff, but more! I think the locals pawn the treasures they find on the street for a nip or two, because there is not only an amazing selection of seemingly discarded clothes, shoes and bags, but I found Earring Magic Ken laying below the liquor shelf for a steal at $ 2.99!
