This place is good or bad as a sandwich place could be. I am not a big fan of processed meat. Once I ordered Greek of the week once and another time Pass that Pastrami. Both were ok and eatable but not impressive.

Decided to eat here after just arriving in SF. Worked up quite an appetite traveling across the country and this looked like it might hit the spot. It didn’t disappoint. I went with the Mongolian Monster. They offer a generous quantity of meat on bread that is just crispy enough on the outside with a nice soft interior(the french baguette). The combination of teriyaki sauce and sriracha worked. They also offer a solid selection of niche soft drinks. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. A great first meal in SF

Great selection of sandwiches. I recommend the«Buffalo Firebird» or «Cowboy Way». Good value, east coast style deli. Tell em the Bunyan sent ya.

Prompt and friendly service and they make some of the best sandwiches i have had in SF. The«Pep in your step» is a favorite of mine as well as their breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend Two Sons’ to anyone looking for a great deli in the city.

this used to be my go to Sandwich spot. I eat lunch later than the masses, and the last three times I have stopped in they have been completely out of rolls. I went in today just before two(They are open till 4), and the guy said yup were out of rolls, but he could make a wrap. WTF, does McDonalds run out of buns? I understand running out every once in a while, but for the last three times to have no rolls two hours before closing is a joke. Gus’s Deli just down the street is now my spot for Sandos in this hood.

This place is great! All the sandwiches I’ve tried here were impressive. Tried the Triple C, Mongolian Monster, and the Buffalo Firebird. ALLAMAZING! Their sandwiches are HUGE and they have the best dutch crunch bread! Very fresh and by far the best dutch crunch I’ve had at any sandwich shops.

Ordered a hot pastrami & Swiss on a soft roll. ITWASPERFECTLYMADEANDDELICIOUS. If your live or work in the area, I highly recommend this place. Even if you have to drive, you won’t be sorry. I’ve tried sandwiches at 3 other local establishments. Non of them comes close.

Great sandwich place, very clean and prompt with sandwiches. Always smiling faces, and friendly staff members. Sandwiches are excellent, and only takes about 5 minutes to prepare. Best sandwich Is the Greuben, with pastrami and thousand island dressing. We will miss Joe, but George is just as great and courteous with making sandwiches. Great shop, definitely one of the best sandwich shops in SF, prices are great and service is always with a smile.

I absolute love the Mongolian Monster, and the dutch crunch is always superb. My only issue is that they’re not open Sundays and they close pretty early — but that’s not bad.

amazing sando. it was delicious. i killed the massive thing and wanted more. minus one star because bread to filling ratio is… more carby than desired.

This sandwich shop is through and through amazing. It’s run by two brothers. Their sandwiches and service makes the visit a unique experience. The sandwiches are huge and extremely good. While the filling is juicy the bread stays dry. They have several choices of bread. The sourdough is delicious(and I’m usually not a big fan. This place is definitely worth checking out. I recommend the California living sandwich!

Slow sandwich makers do they know lunch for construction workers are 30 minutes? They burnt my bread and forgot to put meat in the two sandwiches I got! I hate Unilocal and this is one of the few places I have helped! 30 dollars with the tip for two sandwiches plus waters is a joke! Ike’s place with ten people in front rolls faster! Won’t be going again!

Great little sandwich place! I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich and it was amazing. Great piece of chicken, great bread, and a a really delicious cole slaw. If you’re in the Mission and tired of burritos, this is a great place to check out.

This is like a New York deli, without the attitude. Sandwiches are big and juicy, service quick, and the vibe friendly. I like the Mongolian Monster; well worth $ 10.

Excellent sandwiches. Seriously. I wish I lived closer so I could grab lunch there everyday. The service was fast, real, and courteous. The menu is huge with a zillion creative choices. I always get the sandwich with cream cheese if there is one, and this didn’t disappoint. I can’t remember the name but it was clever. Get the Dutch crunch bread. Yum.

This place does NOT disappoint! Their sandwiches are tasty huge and have a nice mix of ingredients! The sandwiches run between nine and $ 10 but definitely worth it considering how big they are. The sandwich that I’ve got the last two times I’ve been there has been a sandwich and include Tam to Sean mustard arugula pickled red onions on Dutch crunch and it’s absolutely delicious! It is certainly my go to spot for sandwiches

A solid customizable sandwich that excites the taste buds. You have plenty of high quality breads, meats and toppings to choose from. The customer service is excellent and the wait time is short. There are plenty of chips and drinks to choose from as well. If you’re interested in a good sandwich and your close to Portero Hill then it’s a no brainer to come try their sandwiches.

We were in the area around lunch time following a tour at Anchor Brewing Company. Since the Bay Area seems to the only place where one can consume dutch crunch we immediately tried to find a place that could make us a sandwich. We took the short walk over to the store. Their sandwiches are pretty dang good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There’s a couple of seats inside to eat, if needed. It’s a little pricey, but a good sandwich always is. Especially when it’s packed with fresh meats and veggies.
