Stopped in on New Years Eve for their last day as tsk/tsk before they re-open as «Horsefeather.» Our Aussi bartender was super friendly and attentive. I had the Beet Down slushie drink with strawberry beet purée, lemon and the most amazing thing: Rosemary Absinthe whipped cream. Once I determined the canister of whipped cream would not fit in my purse, I ordered a few other drinks. They had a great selection of cocktails and I loved how even the boozy slushies were made with quality booze and ingredients. Excited to see what they will come up with next and that I no longer have to sound like SNLs Stefan when I tell people«SF’s hottest bar is tsk/tsk. It has EVERYTHING. Skeeball, bacon, slushies, pinball…»

It’s okay, I guess. We went here for NYE because on their website they claimed to distribute free glass of champagne to toast for NY2016. But, they poured beer instead of champagne. Bar tender was great. Honest. Recently mm ended Ocho instead of Din Julio. Star for that. He saved us $$.

The slushies are pretty yummy! Of course, they’re the same price as a fancy cocktail with a lot less effort and probably a lot less alcohol. Still, it’s a novelty and that makes it fun. I’ve been here a few times and the space is popular but doesn’t get too crowded, which I appreciate. They also have a little outdoor area in the front with heat lamps which is pretty nice.

One positive thing is that they do sell booze here, and for bacon lovers, they sell bacon. I think its a huge step down from the med place that was here before. Overly sweet tropical drinks that dispense from a slurpee machine makes the entire floor pretty sticky(making you feel icky) and it always seems so empty with their lack of furniture and hope more people will occupy the standing area — which isn’t really happening until the run over from medrone’s line is. I would say the best parts of the bar are the skee-ball machine and the patio heaters.

Definitely a place worth checking out! Slushies are tasty and unique, not to mention surprisingly strong. Highly recommend the Titty Twister, which is a mix of the Banana Hammock & the Beet Down, both very yummy! Banana Hammock is basically their take on a piña colada and the beet down is a vodka based slushy with a subtle beet flavor which is pretty original/different imo. Haven’t gotten a chance to try their other slushies though since I usually stick to the Titty Twister but I am definitely eager to try them next time… hopefully. Tried some of their cocktails as well and they also do not disappoint. There’s a few outdoor tables along with some indoor tables in addition to bar seating. They also have skeeball and an arcade game which keeps things interesting. Fun local option that offers happy hour. Hope this place sticks around for a while!

I realize this is a temporary bar but if the Alembic is any example, it might take longer than we think! I’ve been here several times and have always had fun. It’s a nice space, they have different drinks than anywhere else nearby, nice bartenders and fast cheap food. What else could you want?

A fun place to catch up with friends! Don’t quote me but I believe the happy hour M-W is from 6 – 8PM and Th-Sat is from 4 – 7PM during which you’ll get a $ 1 off slushies and cocktails, $ 7 well drinks, and $ 3 dollar sliders(chicken or beef). This place seems to be most known for their yummy boozy slushies(they also have a collection of beer on draft and canned) but if you come hungry, you’ll be pleased that Bacon Bacon has set up shop in the kitchen, if you’re non-kosher, non-veggie, of course. My girlfriend really likes the chicken sandwich. From the bites I took, the meat was juicy, the cole slaw was a good complement, overall making it a pretty tasty sandwich. The slushies I’ve tried… Bruise Cruise:(tequila, lima, ginger Serrano syrup, and raspberry grenadine) slightly fruity and had a peppery after note Banana Hammock:(rum, pineapple, crème de coconut, Giffard Banana de Brasil, and fino sherry) very strong coconut/banana taste but overall was a very typical piña colada. Both the slushies packed a good punch and I’m excited to try the two other options. While you’re getting a lot of alcohol kick, you’re getting a small cup that leaves you wanting more for the $ 10 price tag. However, coming in during their happy hour helps where there happens to be less crowded as well. Overall, I will be coming back to tsk/tsk since it’s close to the apartment, they have happy hour specials, and a yummy food menu. It’s a fun, hip place that I know my friends will enjoy when I take them. Plus, the skee ball machine in the back helps.

I was a big fan of this place! Wasn’t expecting much since it’s just a pop-up, but everything was great. Their plan is to turn this into more of an upscale place once they get all of the building permits they need, but I quite like it the way it is. The«slushies» all looked great! I had one with whiskey and Coke, but the strawberry/banana one looked great! The service was good as well. If you’re in the area, Tsk/Tsk is worth stopping by before it transitions into a typical SF hipster-y upscale craft cocktails place.

I FOUNDIT. My new, favorite neighborhood Happy Hour spot. Yup, right now it looks a little sparse(except for a beautifully stocked bar), but that’s because it’s currently a «pop-up.» In December the owners will start a full-scale renovation to turn it into their very first bar – «Horsefeather.» But why wait? It’s ALREADY a great place: –GREAT beers on draft –Fantastic cocktails by guys who really know what they’re doing. Proof: both used to work at Bourbon and Branch, then branched off – haha – to do their own gig) –Alcoholic slushies: Giant slushie machines at the bar slowly churn marvelous concoctions of pink, rust red, electric blue, and cream colors that taste fantastic. Super creative, too – one magically combines gin, beets, strawberries, absinthe, rosemary, and cream into a concoction I sucked down way too quickly. Then I got another. Then I made an excuse for a third. –Awesome bartenders: The guys behind the bar are the owners, and they not only know how to craft delicious beverages but they’re also happy to answer any questions you have and tell you about the very cool concept they have for Horsefeather. –Investment: make this your neighborhood spot NOW, because when it’s Horsefeather it’s going to be exactly what Divisadero has been needing: a neighborhood spot with a casual but cool atmosphere and exciting, creative cocktails that’s don’t scare you away with ridiculous prices and snobby pretenses. In the meantime, the owners are having fun meeting the neighborhood, brainstorming great concepts for Horsefeather, and experimenting with some really fun drinks(case in point: one of their slushies is a swirl of their own, unique takes on a piña colada and a strawberry daquiri, and it’s called the Titty-Twister. Grins all round). COME. Just don’t spread the word too far, because one of the spaces at the bar will consistently be mine and I like this place too much to over-share it.

I know this pop up bar won’t be for long, but i came in last night after work. I had the whiskey sarsaparilla slushie. It was hard to drink, maybe add more whiskey to make it less condensed. Prolly will be back to try the food by bacon bacon.

$ 8 for your regular draft beer and $ 5 for a can, on top of a very plain atmosphere. I know it’s a temporary setup but I’d think they’d have decent prices to encourage people.

Can’t speak for the slushies… I had high hopes for this bar, but the bartender was less than welcoming when I tried to push two tables together to accommodate a group of 6 people. We were on a bar crawl and we were excited to try some slushies, but after the bartender made such a fuss about us moving tables together we decided to leave. The bar wasn’t that busy; his poor attitude made us leave.

Situation — Went on opening night(Friday — July 2015) — I just had beer(no food or cocktails) Pros — You can order Bacon Bacon and the bar — The bartenders are friendly — Moose Drool is $ 5 — They serve cocktails Cons — It can be though to get a drink — Some of the beer is a bit pricey

Won’t be going back. Overpriced uninspired cocktails and boilermakers. Bartenders are nice enough but lack any sense of urgency. The kitchen is a disaster; I know Bacon Bacon is a temporary deal but there was only one poor guy in the kitchen and the food just sits in the window while customers jockey to decide who gets what. Is SF losing its flair for food and cocktails? Can anyone with a well know name just open a half-hearted bar and flourish? I’m hoping this place is going to step up their game and work out these kinks…

Great pop up bar located in a happening area — Nopa Restaurant is just next door. Ian and Justin are amazing and make the best cocktails!

Goofy name aside, this is a fun addition to the neighborhood. Unfortunately it’s only a temporary fixture: the Bourbon & Branch guys are running it as a pop-up until they’re ready to relaunch it as a mixology bar(presumably with reclaimed wood tables and bartenders in suspenders). They’ve got a really nice beer selection; my companion was especially stoked to see BP Sculpin on tap. They’ve also got a bunch of daquiris, which are way chill(get it?!). I had the«Banana Hammock», which I enjoyed saying and drinking. I’m going to try the beet one next. About as low-key as all the other bars on Divis, and not as stuffy as I find the other bars in the Bourbon & Branch family. It was reasonably easy to have a conversation in and there was plenty of seating available. We didn’t partake in the Bacon Bacon-run kitchen, but I’m excited to do so in the future. They’re based out of the former Ziryab space and it’s nice to see them utilizing the great outdoor patio in the front. I wish they’d open earlier on Saturdays, I’d love to spend my weekend with some day-time daquiris while Tsk/Tsk is still around.
