This is the sister café to Snowbird in the inner sunset. The owners are friendly and have succeeded in creating some cozy neighborhood spots to support the local community. The Richfield is petite, but comfortable offering a selection of tea, coffee(Snowbird roasted beans!), cookies and savory sandwiches and also chicken wings. This is a nice locals spot to pick up your morning coffee or catch up with friends before starting your day.

Love love love this little coffee shop. My go to when I’m in my boyfriends neighborhood. The coffee is yummy and the avocado toast is a must try! Sooo bomb. The staff is very friendly. I just love this place.

Yummm I love the Richfield. I ordered the chai tea latte and the black sesame ricotta toast, which were both amazing. This was the first time in awhile where I encountered a chai tea latte that wasn’t overwhelming sweet– This place made it just perfectly! The interior is small but cozy and there are plenty of specialty coffee drinks to try. I definitely recommend coming here!

The breakfast sandwich is definitely a must have. All of my tastebuds were satisfied. The sandwich is delicately savory with a touch of sweetness from the Hawaiian toast. I also appreciate the coffee ice cubes!

This is probably my favorite coffee shop in SF I love how cozy it is the décor and the friendly workers. It is on the more expensive side but it’s worth it! I usually order hot chocolate or the café au lait :9 please support the business!!!

One of my fav coffee spots in the city, rivaling all the greats. I always get the«Brevano» which is espresso, cream and honey. So decadent and so delicious. Other Unilocalers like the iced coffee — while I agree it’s a great touch to use coffee ice cubes to minimize diluted taste — I didn’t love it. The iced coffee itself was diluted and not super flavorful. It’s hard to find a good cold brew that is smooth, dark roast without a sour aftertaste. Not sure if I was on an off day. Anyhow, the 5 stars is for the Espresso based drinks only.

Awesome little spot for coffee, tea, or a snack, but it’s kind of easy to miss since it pretty much stands alone in a tiny shop right on California and 5th. It’s like a typical hipster coffee shop, but with an Asian twist. I’m not that big on coffee at the moment, but they have a wide selection and my bf loves their lattes. I’ve tried their original teas, like coconut green tea and lychee black tea. Both were really good. They also have a small brunch menu which includes yogurt parfait, black sesame ricotta toast, avocado toast, and the Brekkie(bacon egg sandwich on Hawaiian bread). Highly recommend the avocado toast and the Brekkie! Both are delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of the black sesame toast even though I usually love black sesame(I don’t think ricotta goes well with it). Staff is also friendly and there are a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine or drink in.

The Brekkie Sandwich is goooood. I can’t call it that tho when I order because, well it’s kind of a dumb name and I can’t bring myself to call it that, but I just say breakfast sandwich and they know what I mean. It’s on Hawaiian sweet bread and has some sort of secret sauce on it that takes regular eggs and bacon to another level. They make a pretty mean latte as well. I walk here and get the sandwich and latte to go.(The sandwich doesn’t come with anything else – breakfast potatoes or the like – just FYI.) The place is pretty hip and SUUUUPER small. Like, don’t take your two-kid jogging stroller in there, for everyone’s sake … just don’t. There are 3 small 2-person(but really 1-person) tables along one side and the coffee-dressing station on the other. 5 people inside would be crowded. They have 2 tables outside and bench tho, for more leisurely sitting if that’s what you’re into. The guys that work there are really friendly too. Hit it up if you’re in the neighborhood.

Hip coffee joint in the inner Richmond. Just north of all the Clement Street crowds, this little coffee spot is the perfect place to score a nice pour over or coffee drink. It’s tight in there, with just a few indoor seats and a few outdoor tables as well. Friendly staff and great coffee! Love it for a little afternoon break. Will be back again soon!

Love this spot. I, for one, have a thing for establishments with just the right amount of outside seating. Two tables and two benches will do the trick. Check mark for The Richfield. Did not have the pleasure of visiting Snowbird, so I’m coming in with no comparison between the two shops. Overall, the cold brew was excellent. I stand by the theory that the basics must be done correctly for me to pursue other more complex items. It is very smooth, while still having some fragrance. A lot of the flavor still remains, with almost a creamy finish. The coffee ice cubes give it that last little kick. Also appreciated is that the ice cubes last throughout the length of cold brew experience. Even with my cup fully empty, there still stood 4 solid cubes. I didn’t have a chance to try any of the food items, but will make it a point on my next visit. And that is a trip I’m very much looking forward to.

This isn’t your average sugar bombed coffee place! A lovely little quaint café with high quality tea and coffee beverages to satisfy the pickiest coffee and tea lovers. Traditional classic choices that remind me of Italy. they even have Affogato! what? Yessss!(I just threw my head back) Seasonal bites such as the pumpkin toast and other healthy fresh bites to starve off the belly monster. Very unique and authentic beverages. Pour over coffees, high end tea combos. The almond milk café latte was fantastic with a touch of vanilla. Just how I like it! Nice tables inside where you can sit quietly and a few benches in the front with a dog water bowl :) Easy parking

Despite having a soft spot for some of SF’s larger coffee roasters in Ritual, Four Barrel, and Flywheel, my experience with Snowbird, and now The Ritchfield were both pleasant and even surprising! In passing through the area, I made a quick stop at The Richfield to pick up some cold brew and couldn’t be more surprised with the quality of the coffee! Served with coffee ice cubes, their cold brew was absolutely delicious. The shop itself is teeny tiny(parking is SUPER challenging in this area), but there seems to be a fair amount of both coffee and food options that are served here! While their pastries were gone by the afternoon, it looked like their toast options were still available. Definitely a great little shop to stop by if you’re passing through the area!

Cute clean interior, fun concept, and nicely curated list of coffee and food. I tried the raved-about brekkie sandwich and thought it was good, not mind-blowing. I did enjoy the sweet, soft Hawaiian bread which kind of reminds of the sweeter white bread that I grew up with in Korea. It comes with bacon, cheese, and a little egg omelet with some kind of sweet/savory sauce combination. I didn’t try their coffee but I’ve routinely frequented Snowbird in the Inner Sunset, which I think is good, if a bit sour. I would come back to try it if I were in the neighborhood, but I wouldn’t necessarily seek it out.

Cute little coffee shop in the odd wedge building between Cornwall and California at 5th Ave. It’s a small space, but they got a surprising amount of café tables and chairs in there, along with a couple tables outside. We ordered: a cold brew for me, and an iced mocha for my foo-foo coffee drinker boyfriend. Cold brew was A+! They use coffee ice cubes so while it melts it doesn’t water down the beverage. Iced mocha was standard, a little too sweet for me but hey, I drink my coffee black 95% of the time. Will have to come back for more, and to try some of their food offerings!

This is the sister shop to Snowbird over in the inner sunset. And they are definitely sisters, not twins. With the same great commitment to quality, but more light, and outdoor seating, the Richfield is sure to become a neighborhood favorite in no time. We both had cappuccinos, and my husband devoured his Brekkie Sandwich. He said the tangy sauce set it apart, and the substantial, soft, chewy Hawaiian toast was a welcome departure from all the crunchy that’s been popular around town lately. To no one’s surprise, the cappuccinos were perfect temp, perfect flavor profile, with delightful latte art. Fair Warning: don’t come expecting to order a latte with syrup and whip. It ain’t that kinda joint.

#tl;dr Deece, shows promise, but has some item availability x service kinks to smooth out. Out of bacon = 30min wait for Breakfast Sando. I bought one bc #nottrippin. 10ish mins later, I’m given a sandwich. Without bacon; it was someone else’s order. Another 10 and«so sorry, we’re out of bacon! it’ll be a half hour». #waitwhat isn’t that why I started waiting 20mins ago? Then nearly an hour in, sandwich achieved. Nice texture but mostly flavorless, go figure. Korean Fried Chicken was better & way faster. Interesting ice cubes made of coffee. Duck Hunt x Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out! vibe. Hipster vs Yoga Parent clientele showdown.

Welcome to the Inner Richmond! The wait is finally over; the space that was once Ro Café, is now The Richfield. From what I understood from the nice girl, Anna, is that this is the new sister café to Snowbird Coffee over on 9th and Irving. It’s a boxing themed space with a dark forest green color scheme. They even have an old school locker that serves as a shelf for their Snowbird bean bags. It’s very small though, so seating will probably be challenging. But in terms of a to-go spot, it’ll be as good as any. I have yet to try their food; but it all sounded delicious, judging by the descriptions on the menu. This place has good quality/skillfully crafted coffee, which I’m sure the food will follow suit. I look forward to not having to walk all the way to Fifty Fifty anymore.
