For an SRO, this place is surprising nice. Dish TV, plenty of drawer and closet space for your clothes and it is clean. Not pretty, but clean and quiet. You have to buy your own TP, but I’m used to that because people use it all anyway. No bed bugs. New bed spreads would be an improvement though. I didn’t have to by some Ozium spray because the place smelled fine. Most importantly, the public toilets and shower were always clean. Only complaint is you have to be buzzed in the front door. I like to come and go as I please and not have to pay extra for guest. I can understand how people would abuse that privilege. A pleasant place to stay.

This place is unbelievably corrupt and filthy as well. If you visit a resident there, they charge you $ 10. The woman there is so cheap she sounds like a parrot saying«ten dolla, ten dolla… The bathrooms in this place should be condemned, they are so disgusting that even if i was to blow up from not being able to go, I would prefer that to entertaining the idea of sitting on those germ infested toilets. Cockaroaches abound. No amenities whatsoever! The question is: What the heck is wrong with the health department? There is no way they are doing there job. Which makes me think… hmmm…envelope please! I pity the poor tourist that goes here based on the nice«name»(Marilyn) and the Dashiell Hammett address. if Marilyn could go to this place she would throw up as soon as she walked in the door. Stay away!

I really do not know much about this place, however, I witnessed a man break into a car just down the street from here and run into this Inn. I called the police, who in their traditional fashion arrived and asked me questions but never actually went into the Inn to find the man, I find this very discouraging and feel it may be a known fact this Inn harbors troubled people. Regardless, I cannot imagine it a pleasant Inn to stay at… unless of course you are looking for a hideout!
