The Golden Hour

The Golden Hour is a super cute new vintage clothing store that I stumbled upon last week. All of their clothes are of great quality, reasonably priced, & one of a kind. Staff is very friendly & informative & helped me find the perfect outfit. My new favorite vintage store in the city — I will definitely be coming back!

I think I found the best vintage clothing store in San Francisco. I come here for all my vintage — bow ties, bolo ties, tie clips, cuff links and formal dress wear. Every now and then I stumble upon some 60’s & 70’s Levi’s Denim, Pendleton, or old school leather always in pristine condition. Each piece is hand selected and has a story to tell. The shop is a refreshing take on vintage. It always smells fresh, is well lit with cool music and great vibes. The Inner Richmond is becoming a shopping destination. The next time you are on Clement Street, do yourself a favor and check out The Golden Hour.

I happened upon this vintage «gem» of a shop last week and was pleasantly surprised! The Golden Hour is located on the adorable Clement Street– between tons of great restaurants. The girls styled me and I had an affordable outfit to wear to my party that evening. I found my experience to be comfortable & fun & I received great service! The creative imaginations behind this cute new spot make it worth referring to all of my peeps!

Really well-​curated shop. I love vintage, but my usual stops on the Haight are getting more pricey with worse selection every year! My problems are solved with The Golden Hour. This is an affordable, beautiful, perfectly-​put together little shop, and I love it. Oh! And bonus — their jewelry is unique and cool, too. I went in to check it out, but came out with a whole vintage outfit. Neighborhood gem, for sure.

Boasting a small, but select number of vintage items, this quaint and nicely located shop is suited to find that extra gift for yourself or someone special. Everything they have is hand selected and awesome. They’ll help you find that gift — when you don’t know what to get, you’ll be sure to find it here! Definitely worth visiting!

What an awesome store! I have been in here a few times now and every time I go there is always lots of new things to check out. Everything here is in amazing condition and lots of variety from jewelry and shoes to coats. I have picked up a few awesome pieces here! The owners are around a lot of the time (I got this great pic of Morgan) and they are friendly, fun and most helpful. If your looking for something specific don’t hesitate to ask them, they seem to have a ton of stuff upstairs. If you find yourself in the Inner Richmond you should not miss this treasure trove!

The Golden Hour is hands down the best neighborhood gem in San Francisco to pick up the most fashion forward vintage threads. A few of my fashionista friends told me to check out this new spot to find a 80’s style leather jacket to replace the one I loved and lost after a heavy night of boozing. My experience from the moment I saw the shop was inviting, enticing, and exactly what I wanted. The window display had beautiful retro fits staged that made me want to tear them off the mannequins, and gorgeous rustic style cowboy boots that had me crossing my fingers they were my size! When I walked in, I was greeted by a super upbeat and enthusiastic woman named Morgan who was eager but NOT pushy to help me find exactly what I wanted. I initially intended on doing a quick trip in, picking out a jacket and heading out.
The selection is so eclectic it is hard to stay focused on what you initially came in for. But luckily I had Morgan to be my personal stylist and to keep me focused. I told her what I was looking for and she took the time to show me her selection, ask me questions about the style I was going for, ensure the fit was right for my comfort, figure, and intended look. I felt that she was being honest in her advisements (if something didn’t compliment me, she told me and explained why) and I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything– which is a problem I usually have when someone invests one on one service like she did.
So in the end I got an AMAZING jacket that I have gotten so many compliments on, that I have decided it is not allowed to go out on any boozing trips ;) Although the boots I was in love with were too small, I asked Morgan to keep an eye out for another pair similar to the ones in the window– and she followed up with me about two weeks later via phone and BAM!– I got a pair that were even more my style than those in the window!!! THANK YOU GOLDEN HOUR!!!

My favorite vintage boutique in San Francisco. Clement Street has come alive in the past couple years and it’s amazing to see REAL vintage clothing stores open their doors. My favorite time to visit The Golden Hour is Sunday morning after the farmer’s market. I go buy my flowers and then splurge on some new threads. The staff is super friendly, and the clothes are to die for! I don’t know where the owners shop, but they know what they are doing. The owners are very nice and fun. If you’re lucky they’ll stop by while you’re shopping. There’s never a blue day at The Golden Hour! Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love coming to this store. So cute and quaint the pieces that they offer are one of a kind. I loved learning the back story of the owners of the store, one being a interior decorator and the other being a costume designer in LA. I know the pieces are hand picked with style and care. I recently purchased a wonderful pair of cowboy boots that I found out were worn on a famous television show by a celebrity!!! I love my boots and they make me feel like a celebrity when I wear them every time!!! Love the store love clothes love it all!!!
