In response to the review by Felici, The Evans Group and The Factory have launched more than 450 clothing lines, from start-ups, to established brands. We have built our reputation on quality work and fair business practices, making us as leaders in the apparel industry for nearly 10 years. Like most of our clients, Felici left The Factory openly happy and pleased with the work we completed. Unfortunately, after contacting us weeks after taking her items, she did not allow the opportunity for us to see her patterns or samples to view her newfounded claims. After multiple correspondense, requesting to see the issues, she was unwilling to bring them to us, or discuss any resolution outside of meeting her financial demands. Our offer still stands, to review the physical samples or patterns, for any issues or concerns she may have. We stand behind our work the same way we have for 10 years.

I do not Unilocal often, but I do believe in presenting knowledge to people if it means they will avoid a mistake that I made. This mistake was a costly 8 thousands dollars for 16 pieces of unfinished patterns and pieces. I have been involved in business for many years and my connections are vast. I know quality and customer service well. They always say you will be burned in your industry at least once and this was my burn. I brought my samples and patterns to another company because I knew doing further business with The Factory was a definite no and they were almost laughing at the«finished» worked I was given. I brought my issues up with the owner and she responded by saying her work was great and that it was not of her concern. Not such a good answer to give an unsatisfied client! The company I am now working with would have charged me $ 900 for what I asked to have done at The Factory for 8k. When I brought my physical samples to this new business they educated me on why not to use to sewing methods that were done because the detailing would not hold up long term. I’ve been there twice, once under relaxed, party circumstances and once during a major fashion malfunction, and both times they were amazing! First, to review the actual boutique: they have beautiful couture pieces that stand out from anything I’ve ever seen in a department store. If you want your closet to look like a million bucks(without paying that much) you should definitely check them out. Now, to review the amazing staff there: I actually started as a customer at CODE Salon upstairs the second time I visited the Factory. I was getting my hair done for the 90th Opera Opening Night Gala, and when I went to change into my dress the zipper stuck. And I mean STUCK. As in I was going to the ball… enter the young fairy godmothers of the Factory! Not only did they assure me that it was not me, but the zipper that wasn’t fitting into this equation(I was understandably convinced that weight had something to do with it), but they literally saved my night, because when the zipper wouldn’t budge, CEO Jennifer Evans stepped in to personally sew me into my dress! Talk about amazing service! And as all this chaos in my life was swirling, the peace and beauty of the Factory helped calm me down. Whereas in normal circumstances I would like to note here that I tried several times to pay them for their wonderful work, which despite only taking ten minutes, held throughout hours of opera and dancing, they refused any compensation for their awesome talents. Thank you both for saving my night and reaffirming my faith in humanity. You ROCK! I will be coming back often, and under decidedly better circumstances: D
