Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge 2014 #356 — #365 We ended up here from our walk because my Mom’s feet was hurting from the long walk and needed some slippers. The Chinese lady was friendly and quickly acknowledged us while we were browsing. She said that it was buy one get item get the same brand for 50% off. This store is huge full of reasonable priced souvenirs for the San Francisco tourist. Located right on Pier 39 in the middle of all the action, shopping in this store will help you with your tourist shopping needs. Buy a piece of Ghirardelli chocolate for bargain price or something to bring home from your trip like San Franciscan magnets, pens, postcards and whatever else you might find.

This place had a great selection of souvenirs and awesome looking styles that the other more popular and more expensive places didn’t quite have. Very clean and organized inside. Recommend this to anyone who has to buy cheap souvenirs for many people of different ages.

These guys had the best deals on souveniers that I saw in the city and were friendly. Even gave me all their quarters they had left so I could have meter change.

Geez this place saved my life. Life? Really? Okay, that’s a little strong, but when I visited San Francisco, I forgot my jacket and they had this really nice SF fleece on sale there for $ 13, that I happily snatched up and wore out. Nice place to grab some keep sakes too. I’m sure i’ll be back

I had never been to San Fran and wanted some souvenirs and this place fit the bill. After strolling through a chilly Fisherman’s Wharf, my tour guide/friend told me he bought all his souvenirs from here. So, we hit this place up and I loved the various selection. Doesn’t really stand out from the other places but it gets an extra star because it’s so inexpensive compared to all the other places I had checked out. Definitely will drop by when I’m back in San Francisco.

Fisherman’s Wharf has no shortage of souvenir shops with endless products. This is one of those places. I found the selection, prices, and people here to be great and they definitely seemed to have something for everyone. They were also one of the most spacious shops on the strip which was nice. In addition to gifts they also had a decent sized clothing section(though I’m not sure who would possibly go to a gift shop in Fisherman’s Wharf for a pair of jeans). I won’t go as far as to say this is the best gift shop in SF but I’m sure it could make the top of any ones list.

I’m guilty of buying souvenirs from here… because their prices seemed reasonable. Sorry auntie, but those little Buddha’s sitting on my fire place were not really FROM China… just made there like that cheap T-shirt your wearing.

Ah just what a tourist needs! A place to load up with cheap souvenirs! Although this is the first shop you hit when walking from the Hyde Street cable car turntable woards Fisherman’s Wharf, its prices are quite reasonable. Lots of the usual funny T shirts, key rings and necklaces as well as local chocolate. The quality is also good for the price.

I remember in the past, say 12 years ago, I was still working at the crab stands at Fisherman’s Wharf. I was a young and naïve young man that smelled like rancid seafood that has been in the sun all day after work… Well, I work with seafood all day and stand somewhat in the sun all day… Makes sense, no? Anywho, most of us working boys smoked. Bad habit that still rears it’s ugly head once in a while but not lately and mostly when I drink with friends. Honest to God even though I am an Aethiest. Take that, you Mormons! The best thing about this place are the Filipinos. Not because they were great people, but because we would send out Filipino co-workers to buy us our smokes. Why? Because Filipinos are cool with one another and they can get the hook-up. Now, remember this is 12 years ago. This is before they looked like what they look now, all new and modern and stuff. Back then, the section away from the corner was just a knick knack shop with a wall of smokes. Heaven on Earth for us crab boys. So everytime we needed smokes, we would send them over to get us a hook up. Usually it’s a nice discount. Other times, they would get a free pack. Cool either way. Not something I am proud of but hey, anything to get us through the day of dealing with morons that can’t read the goddamn with the prices on there. Yeah, like we love to repeat ourselves millions of times a day… God, that makes me want to light one now just thinking about it…

I got a sweet pair of $ 29.99 Flojos here. Actually, last year in San Fran I got a pair of $ 14.99 Flojos. I’m guess I’m moving up in the world. And apparently we don’t sell Flojos on the east coast? Um. I also got a light-up San Francisco lighter for $ 6.99. And ah. yeah it’s a tourist store what can I say? OH and a shotglass with a gun through it. Nice.
