Too bad they couldn’t get this location to work, because it’s CLOSED. Service and food at other airport locations in the east coast were better than here. This place was located at the entrance to the gates for Terminal 1, no idea why another Unilocaler thought this was at Terminal 3.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Once a week, I find myself in Terminal 3 of SFO hungry for dinner. The chicken caesar salad at this TGI Friday’s is so far the best dinner I’ve had in this part of the airport. This isn’t to say that it’s an excellent salad, but it’s pretty good. The lettuce isn’t terribly wilted, there’s an adequate amount of adequately tangy dressing, and the grilled chicken is warm, and I can therefore pretend it is freshly cooked. Maybe it really is! The biggest problem with this salad is that it is more than $ 14, which after tax and a tip make it insultingly expensive. It’s not an unusual fact about TGI Friday’s in particular– SFO food is expensive even for airport food. In the long run, I’m planning to solve the problem by no longer flying out of SFO.

Went to get a beer while waiting to meet someone at the airport. Sign said seat yourself, so I seated my self… should’ve sat at the bar, but the seats were full. Had two waiters looking like they were going to help me, but then they completely ignored me.

Terrible. Had menu thrown down on the table. Waited 10 minutes and left when waiter never came back. :(

Extremely bad service from the waiters. Do not tip here. Tip at the bar — the bar tender is really nice — wait staff didn’t take my order for 30 minutes and then yelled when I wanted to keep one menu to see if I wanted to order some more.

We usually come here on Friday afternoon for their early happy hour which is from 4 – 7 for a few drinks and to hang out after work after the long work week! We don’t ever get food just because the food is not the best specially if you are health conscious as we are. As of about 2 weeks ago they fired their entire bar stuff which totally sucks because they were so friendly and made us feel welcome. We came here last Friday for usual Friday stop before we go off and eat dinner and whatever else and were totally disappointed… We thought we would give it a chance with new bar stuff but it genuinely has changed the feel entirely. I don’t understand how an ENTIRE staff can be fired and not just change up a few people. With everything that Friday’s has been through in the last couple years you would think they would at least keep something semi-consistent for their patrons. I’m not saying I won’t come back here again for their early happy hour but I’m definitely disappointed.

How hard can it be to make a good burger you know a fresh bun served hot cooked at the time you order it TGIF know that when I get bad food at one place I just assume it will be bad at all the places. For twenty dollars for a burger 20 fries and a coke you should do better the food at the delta area of SFO is just bad stop before you get here there is an in & out burger two exits south

Waited five minutes at the take-out to buy a sub. No service there or behind the bar. Ended up having a Subway in Union Square. Cheaper and there is always someone waiting to take your order.

When laid over for an hour and a half due to weather. Check this place out. Stiff drinks, while at airport prices they do the trick. Makes going through security actually fun.

When they closed the San Bruno and San Mateo TGIFs, my girlfriend and I decided to try the one at SFO. Unfortunately it was nothing to write home about. Since it is at the airport, the same food is about $ 5 more expensive that it normally would have been. In addition the food was nothing like we remembered at the previous TGIFs. Disappointing.

After having our flight be delayed for about 2 hours due to snow that landed in Vegas two days prior, we decided to come back out of the secuirty checkpoint to fill our bellies with alcohol and bar food. Service was very attentive and our server kept saying THANKYOU at the end of every sentence. For example… Me: Can I get some napkins please? Server: Yes. Thank you. Me: Can I start with the sliders? Server: Sure. Thank you. Me: Thank you. Server: Thank YOU. At anyrate, the sliders we ordered were pretty dried out. It actually tasted worse than McDoanlds. Even MickeyDee’s patties are JUICY! Hmm, but it was served on a dinner roll that made everything even MORE dry. We took off the top bun and just ate it open faced style and then it was just merely ok. The sauce served with it was THEBOMB though. Mmm. Chicken fingers and fries were standard, and my ultimate something drink gave me a bloody nose, haha. (Photos Uploaded)

This place is a joke. I went here with my friends to eat and my god, good thing we ordered appetizers because waited a good 20 – 30 mins for our food. The only reason I gave this a 2 is because the waiter never let our drinks go empty. Oh btw, when we FINALLY got our food, they messed up on my friends steak making it extra well done. I felt bad for him, he could barely chew it. Poor guy. My other friend was short on onion rings. His plate came with 2 and a HALF onion rings. Seriously, that’s it? Anyways, if you like your drinks refilled every 5 mins then come on over! Other than that, avoid this place. I’m warning you!

This is a great place to take a huge group of people because they do reservations and they have a parking lot. The food and service is usually good, but nothing special. However, their food is very filling and affordable. I especially love it when they have their 3 course meals and smaller portion entrees. I’ll admit I eat here alot, but it’s nothing to get excited about.

For all those that do not know me I am Raul the Former Bartender at this TGIF not to be confused with the one in San Bruno, I agree the food does suck the management is crappy but as far as my bar tending, well I am great; although the bar was under stocked for the majority of the time that I was there, my bloody Maria’s were amazingly delightful. There is a difference in working crews the morning crew while stupid is not really an appropriate word retarded at times does not compare with the night crew, I will not eat in the morning but sure as hell will stuff my face at night. 5 stars for me.

***BARREVIEWONLY*** I’ve never eaten at this, or any other TGI Friday’s but the stars are ALL for my friend J who bartends there — he’s a fantastic bartender. Forego(for the love of sweet baby jeebus) the frou-frou drinks(+ the food) and order a martini or a Manhattan while you wait for your baggage and say ‘hi’ from me. …and yes, I’ve not eaten there, but I always stop by the bar for a beverage. If it’s not busy — strike up a convo. The man’s got great stories.
