Taqueria El Aloroh takes over the long vacated space by La Michoacana Taqueria. hit them early and found that the early bird gets… yesterday’s leftovers… place was empty of people. only a seniorita worked the front. eats: asada regular burrito(5.85) –el faro assembley line, food all premade, get choice of beans, salsa, meats –saw seniorita put finished burrito in pressure cooker. –bit into burrito just outside the shop, it was cold. huh? –beef was chewy, gristly. –salsa was cold(referigated). veggies limp-no juice –rice undercooked, rest of burrito didn’t taste fresh, day old? –almost felt like throwing up but didn’t. maybe coffee killed it. –chips commercially made, a little stale. frijoles refritos: –name on sign on top of building, name not found on google –menu of el aloroh same as el azteca taqueria on 3rd st. –good service, poor food –seniorita took off one glove to make change.
