I ordered the Peach Oolong and Early Grey with agar boba. These both are apparently popular items here but they both tasted mediocre to me nor am I a fan of their agar boba. It is a less calorie alternative to boba but for the amount of sugar intake you’re already consuming might as well go out and just get regular boba. They also need some work on their customer service skills.

Very pleasantly surprised! I was hearing all these rave reviews(from a small group of people.), so I’m glad I finally got to try this place out. It’s a really small area, but I love that you can customize every drink. I ordered a dark roast oolong milk tea with strong oolong flavor, less sugar, and less ice. It was one of my favorite cups of oolong milk tea ever. My bf ordered a white grape oolong tea with no sugar. He really never learns. It just tasted like straight brewed tea. Which, you get what you asked for, right? They use real tea and personalize every cup. I’ll be back for more!

Had dinner at a nearby Vietnamese restaurant(mm I love Phở!!) and I had a craving for milk tea! Thanks to Unilocal,I searched BOBA and this cute place popped up and I had 7 minutes before closing! Place is clean and colorful. I went on a Thursday night 1÷21÷16 right before closing and the guy who helped me was very nice and patient with me. I didn’t know what I wanted! I went with the coconut smoothie with coconut jelly and ordered a honeydew milk tea 30% sweet with boba. My friend and I both enjoyed our drinks and I just went almost two hours ago before closing(so glad they were open till midnight!) I ordered a honeydew coconut smoothie with mango stars. Delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back

Maybe it’s because there’s a smörgåsbord of milk tea shops all around SF, but in any case, this Super Cue is solid!(And way better than the store in Fremont!) Came here with a friend at night, and ordered an assam black milk tea with 30% sugar and boba(about $ 4). That tea taste is there, and there was an optimal amount of sweetness to the boba. Solid grab-n-go boba place!

Some of these workers need an attitude check & a review on customer service. It’s been a while since I’ve been to this location, so I’ve noticed that there was an entirely different crew working when I came in to redeem my free drink. Young Asian guy takes my order: a crema oolong tea with boba. Normally workers would repeat my order, but he didn’t so I just assumed everything was all good. But of course, my drink came without boba. I kindly brought it up to the girl who handed me my drink, and she retorts(with hella attitude), «No you didn’t. The ticket doesn’t show it.» And I calmly said, «Yes I did, I would show you but I never got a receipt.» I looked at the guy who took my order and I asked him, «You heard me order my drink with boba, right?» He softly said, «um…no…» & basically just turned around trying to avoid me(cuz he knew he f*cked up). Then she says, «Okay well that will be an extra 50 cents.» I was reaching for my wallet, willing to pay the extra cost, and then the same guy who took my order finally came out of hiding and was like«…she had a free drink though.»(THANKYOU, young Asian guy, for finally saying something right.) She basically just stood there for a sec, rolled her eyes while saying«OK» and then went to redo my drink. To the short Asian girl with the hoodie and blonde highlights — nothing’s uglier than a sour attitude. On a side note, everybody working here seemed to be in high school or fresh out of high school. While I was waiting for my drink, some other employee was taking selfies and snapchatting as if he was the life of the(non-existent) party @ Super Cue.

Came here once a year or two ago and wasn’t a big fan but decided to give it a try again. I got the Irish Coffee Milk tea, which is basically just milk tea with irish coffe syrup, and it was actually really good. The boba had just the right firmness, and overall everything tasted good! I’m glad I decided to give Super Cue a second chance.

Been here twice and both times I’ve had a mediocre expereince. SERVICE: Friendly and knowledgeable of drinks. DRINKS: I’ve tried the High Mountain oolong milk tea with 50% sweet and 30% ice and it tasted very diluted. Eventhough, I got 50% sweet, the tea flavor was not strong at all(compared to Little Sweet). The second time, I decided to give their milk tea a chance and got their Fresh Taro Milk tea with egg pudding, 50%sweet &30% ice. Diluted. Yes, there were fresh taro bits and pudding, but it literally tasted like watered down taro drink with taro bits(compared to iTea). Overall, this place is good for the convenience of location, but I won’t go here for the quality of drinks. AMBIANCE: Very clean and nicely lit. Big screen with menu and colorful. No sitting area, but there is a small table against the wall to lean against. More of a grab & go kinda milk tea place.

Green milk tea with boba, half sweet, strong tea please. First off, I’m a big fan of green milk tea. It’s what I order no matter where I go and I judge all tapioca/boba places by it. This place makes the best green milk tea in the city. The tea taste is strong, the milk is not overpowering and I can ask for half sugar. I have no complaints. Oh and the boba is always done right too, perfect chew and not over coated with honey syrup.

I came here because I was really craving pudding milk tea, and this popped up on Unilocal as a place to try. I popped it really quickly as my cousin waited for me outside — luckily I had looked up the menu ahead of time, so I knew exactly what I wanted, which made ordering a breeze and my drink was ready right away(I ordered the taro milk pudding tea, which is taro milk tea with egg pudding on the inside). Service was good, though a little confusing — the menu in store is a little different than the one on Unilocal,so when I was trying to order what I had picked in the car, they were confused and were trying to talk me through the menu. I appreciated them trying to make sure that I got the right thing, though! It’s a small place with no seating, only a standing bar so you can grab your drinks and go. It can get a little noisy if there’s a lot of people… there was either a fraternity or sorority doing recruitment/fundraising while I was trying to order and they were loud enough(amongst each other, not even talking to potential people) that I had to practically yell to the cashier to get my order through. Since it’s close by to my aunt’s and fairly well priced, I’ll probably be back(but maybe ask for less ice in my drink next time!)

After reading Unilocal reviews, I had high hopes for the boba from Super Cue. My friend let me had a little bit of her Matcha milk tea, and I thought it was pretty good because it wasn’t too sweet even at 100% sweetness. Another time, my friend got me a oolong milk tea from Super Cue, which I also liked. You can clearly taste the oolong tea flavor although on the light side. Finally I went to try out Super Cue on my own(with my sister), I ordered white grape oolong milk tea. I was disappointed. The drink tasted so blend and water down. My sister also ordered a matcha milk tea that I tried a little bit, which was blend as well! It was different from the previous time I have tried. Super Cue’s drinks are definitely on the light side, and the quality is also inconsistent. The pric e is average for boba in SF, so I was expecting more. There are definitely better boba options at this price range.

One of the better boba joints in the city. My favorite drink here is the Peach Oolong Milk Tea. They don’t use real milk in their drinks, yet the drink still has this nice creamy texture to it. The boba used to be really good here. It would come out warm and perfect, and now it comes out a little hard and cold. But that’s fine with me, because I now prefer grass jelly. And the grass jelly at this joint is super soft, it practically melts in your mouth! It’s actually the best grass jelly I’ve had that actually has some flavor to it. I would give this place five stars but they’re not always consistent with their drinks. There were a couple times where they forgot to put sweetener in my drink.

I really liked that you could customize not only the ice and sugar levels, but also the tea strength(I recommend the stronger brew). Plus, you can smell the teas before you order!

Taro milk tea with egg pudding. Litchi milk tea with boba. Less sugar and less ice. Rewards program. Just punch in your mobile number and you’re set with program. Staff friendly and efficient. Even on a cold and windy day, I’m craving their milk tea. Just done right… the way you like it. From no ice to no sugar added to your bubble milk tea.

For me, boba was an acquired taste. I was never a huge fan of boba, and after several years of being under the influence of friends and family, I finally gave in. But the first time I walked into Super Cue Café, I was instantly enamored. As someone who is visually stimulated with colors and cool branding, I give them a thumbs up! Though what impressed me most is their product. I’ve been a handful of times and customer service is generally friendly. I like how they offer options-get your boba drink customized. The boba itself is served warm(at least the times I’ve had it). I generally get a black or green tea with the least amount of sugar and regular amount of ice. Not much room to hang out, so it’s best to order and go.

4 stars yes! Today we’re trying to have dinner at tonight soju, but it’s open at 6. So we decided to go to this café. It’s a very small shop, barely any leg room. Luckily it’s not packed. The menus on the wall so it’s very easy to pick out what we want. They have a variety of teas, from teas, milk teas, smoothies and ice milk tea. You can choose your choice of tea, ice level, and sweetness level.(We didn’t know that until after we ordered because the guy that took down our order didn’t bother to ask.) oh well. When we entered one person already ordered and two people before us were ordering. When we were ready to order no one approached us. And that’s ok I noticed that they were making drinks. So we waited. But still no help. The guy with glasses that handed out the drink said nothing to us. The girl that handed out the drink didn’t approach us. The same guy with glasses walked out because one customer accidentally spilled a little of her drink. And still no one came up to us. And we waited and loudly said no, no help yet. I think they’re busy. And we said this about 3 times. We had no shame. Finally the girl told the guy hey and pointed to us. And he walked up to us and say hi. No, sorry, no nothing. And we all laughed. Wow that’s what happens when you let kids run the shop. I’m sure people will still come to this place but it’s not all that. We ordered the mango green tea, almond milk tea with egg pudding, and earl gray milk tea with egg pudding and boba, with extra ice. The mango green tea tastes like a citrus water, the almond milk tea, tasted like almond milk but with a not tasty egg pudding. It has an orange taste to it. My earl gray milk tea just has a taste of that egg pudding orange taste. . It’s not my favorite boba spot at all. Maybe that’s why there isn’t a line. Isk

Such a super cue name, drinks were a little less than average for us. We were craving something with crema and happened to past this place after getting pizza a couple doors down. We were greeted by a couple of workers. The place was empty even though it was prime time around dinner 7ish, so that should have been our first clue. However we proceeded to order a green tea with crema. The crema did not blend with the tea at all and was tasteless and chunky… Not what we were looking for.

This is the one of the closest cafes to my house, so naturally I’ve been to this place several times! This Super Cue got revamped a few months ago! They have a new menu and slightly different interior layout. They even serve food now like ramen(whaaaa?). I’ve never tried the ramen, but it’s on my list! There’s even a few seats with small tables to sit and eat/drink. On top of that, all the servers have been really nice. Anyway, Supercue has a decently large menu and having tried several of the drinks there, I am really satisfied with the quality. My favorite drink is the iced milk with fresh taro and mango pudding! There’s just so much in the drink! On top of the taro and pudding, the boba pearls come free as well! Although, if you don’t want so much to chew on in your drink, I would recommend asking them to leave out one or two of the toppings. The iced milk is a perfectly refreshing and sweet drink to have on a hot day or just whenever! In addition to the iced milk, I’ve also tried their slush, hot teas, and cold teas. I don’t particularly enjoy their hot teas because I feel like it isn’t worth it to pay $ 3 – 4 per cup of sweetened tea. It’s just my justification though! I’m too lazy to take the effort to brew tea and then ice it but not lazy enough to take that first step to just brew hot tea. Is that weird? On the upshot, I did enjoy their hot fresh taro drink! Both of the slush drinks and the cold tea drinks are good for the most part. My taste buds seemed to disagree with their rose tea drink, but hey everyone has different preferences! All in all, I would recommend Super Cue anytime!

I’m not at all a milk tea or boba connoisseur and am more of a casual fan. Lately though, it’s been my treat of choice and I like to try out different spots. Super Cue is great little option with flavorful tea and well made boba. I tried the Thai milk tea, less sweet and it was a great balance of tea flavor and a bit of sugary goodness. The boba in it had a great texture and taste and overall, it was a nice experience. The shop seemed clean, bright and modern, but virtually no seating. That’s okay-when the weather is nice, there is small park down the street to sit and enjoy. Service was quick and friendly. Bonus that they use 5 star reward cards, which I’m already signed up for. Though I’m not in this area often, I’d definitely visit Super Cue again-whether it’s this location or one of their other shops. Oh and their logo on the cups is adorably amazing… Overall win!

You can tell their specialtea(hehe pun intended) is tea, because the menu features so many different types of teas rather than a bunch of artificial fruity flavors. I used to always get the Assam milk tea thinking it was something special until I found out it’s the default black tea. Not bad, but I would prefer the more unique options like dark roast oolong or hojicha(roasted green tea) – I have inclinations towards roasted teas because they taste more complex and tea-like. Rumors tell me this location is better than Fremont, because Fremont people always raise their eyebrows when I tell them I like Super Cue. Other things to note: — Toffee milk tea is popular but it sounds too diabetes-inducing for me — Regular size is pretty large(When I get it +boba, it’s filling enough to be my lunch) — Customizable sweetness and ice — Street parking around the area is alright — They use 5 stars reward card — It’s small and seating gets taken up quickly on weekends — They serve food, but I don’t know whether I would trust it… food offered at tea places is in many ways like bar food. It’s good to have that option if you’re really hungry, but it’s mostly premade stuff because their tea making machinery is probably more extensive than the kitchen.(And in my opinion Taraval has plenty of better food to spend your calories on)
