Can’t wait until they come up with new sandwiches. This location is kind of suspicious, don’t know why. That new Italian is the cream of the crop. I thought for sure Subway will be a passing fad but it’s here to stay. Their sandwiches are pumped up with the usual ingredients, so it’s not really EL Naturalle.

Great Italian BMT. Meets the level of Subways I expect. Conveniently located in FiDi also on the way to work, which is a plus. Can’t complain as they make the sandwiches to the Subway standard!

How did the food safety even give the clearance? Dirty all over. Tables were unclean — all of them. We asked if we cud get table for six joined together and the guy behind the counter told me I could take all the tables I wanted. In short — do it your self!!! And the I requested the tables be wiped and he rudely said he was on a break and he’d do it in a while… What’s wrong? Bad staff? Bad training? Bad management? Perhaps all of the above!

I don’t normally do reviews but this really disgusted me. I tend to go to this Subway pretty often because it is close to where I live and sometimes I come down here to get a quick bite. Yesterday around 1PM I went to this Subway location and ordered an Italian BMT. I was pretty satisfied with my sandwich until I had maybe around 4 bitea left. What happened is that I accidentally flipped upside the sandwich, and upon that, I found a little friend baked inside my sour dough bread. I found a fly on the bottom of my bread, baked in it. I got disgusted and thinking that I ate most of the sandwich before noticing it.

Incredibly rude staff. I tried to phone in an order about 30 min prior to their closing because I was coming from the hotel directly across the street and I didn’t want to rush over just to find them shut down early. They refused to speak with me and hung up. When I arrived at the store less than five min later they were equally rude and dismissive to my face. Avoid this place unless you are having a good emergency, as I unfortunately was.

This is my absolute favorite subway of all that I have been to over the years. I go out of my way to go to this one instead of the one closest to my office. I only come in about once a month, but they know my order. friendly employees, fresh ingredients, and clean venue.

The 5 stars is for the guys that work the lunch hour M-F. Whenever I want something healthy, cheap, and fast. I turn to Subway. The sandwiches here are sandwiches. Nothing extraordinary. But the staff is another story. Every time I come to this location, they seem to know their customers and are really personable. They are always so happy and the customer service is awesome. This is definitely not what I would expect from a chain restaurant but it does exist.

Very okay. Been here twice. I’m not adverse to it or drawn to it. The last time the bread was a bit dry and the buffalo chicken lacking in sauce flavor. Yet, I expect the buffalo sauce to be quite tame somewhere like this, so that didn’t surprise or bother me much. The tea ran out with half a glass – that was disappointing, but the glass was still half full. But it was clean with 100% rating on the inspection card. Subways seem to have been going down on cleanliness in general in my experience, which is a major reason I try to avoid them. So this was a bit redeeming of Subway and kept my rating at three stars.

Subway, here in a pinch when you need cheap eats, in an area where reliable cheap eats are really not that plentiful. Also open on weekends when a lot of stuff nearby isn’t. Here’s the secret to Subway breakfast — 6 inch on flatbread, egg white and cheddar or provolone, toasted, with tomatoes and onions, and a squirt of chipotle sauce. Really a damn fine tasting breakfast sandwich and coffee for 3.50 right there. Feel free to thank me with compliments and/or cash.

Subway Sandwich location here is decent. Although my sandwich was a bit soggy, it was only the mustard that made it soggy. Service was okay and the dude behind the counter wore gloves. The only thing I order here is the oven roasted chicken sandwich, toasted bread, everything on it and no mayo. I haven’t gotten sick here, so that’s a plus. As long as I don’t get sick from this place, who cares right?!

Terrible service! The same guy, the one who’s tattooed and is always on the phone, makes the sandwiches whenever you go. He’s grouchy, looks depressed and very very rough with the sandwiches. He tears the cheese when he picks it up and just throw it on the sandwich with half the cheese falling out of the sides. He doesn’t put the toppings on properly and squirts the sauces with full force so they cover the bread and make it all soggy. Doesn’t know how to talk, listen or make a proper sandwich.

I had never thought I will have to get on ‘Yelp’ to review a ‘Subway’ restaurant but this one literally forced me to do the same! Before I even proceed I must clarify that I love ‘Subway’ and have dined at their numerous restaurants globally. This particular ‘Subway’ franchise has serious issues outlined below — (1) This place is dirty. The toasters aren’t clean & the staff moves around handling ingredients without wearing gloves at times (2) The manager is loud, obnoxious, argumentative, and clearly disrespectful towards any concerns raised by customers(As an example — I brought to his attention that the staff was handling the toppings without wearing any gloves to which his only sarcastic response in a raised voice was«Sorry, I couldn’t get my billion dollar budget approved this year to set the right hygiene standards at my ‘Subway’ «.) The above is unacceptable for any restaurant in the world(even if you are a budget place like a ‘Subway’!). You can charge me a $ 1 – 2 more on my foot-long but please ensure that there is no compromise on the stuff above. My advise — just go to one of the more cleaner & nicer locations in the area. I love the one on Montgomery & California(super clean & super friendly!)

This review is strictly for Subway and on Kearny St. in SF and their breakfast. Because otherwise, I like Subway. So Its Monday morning and I am on my way to work with a massive hangover. I crave breakfast! I crave it cheap! And I crave it fast! No one in line at the Kearny Subway? Excellent. I order their breakfast sandwich sans meat on an english muffin. Now, I know the guy toasted the thing, I saw him put it in their toaster! But the sandwich I got was a soggy mess of warm slop. Their eggs(and sausage or whatever that was) come pre-made in weird little alien triangles. The sandwich comes with peppers and onions and tomato. What a good deal for $ 1.79… Until it makes you want to vomit after the smell fills your tiny office and the first bite reminds you of why you should never, ever order any breakfast that costs under $ 2.00.

Do not EVER get the pastrami here. :( The pastrami I was served at this subway’s location was basically 60% globs of fat and 25% tendons. 25% of what was actual edible meat was so stuck onto the fat that I pretty much consumed no actual pastrami in my pastrami sandwich because I had to throw it all away. I’ve had much better pastrami elsewhere. I will say though that the tuna was good. However, there’s no real way you can mess up tuna…

This is the best Subway in the FiDi, the staff is really nice understands my order and the bread is always fresh. On game days(Go Giants!!) the game are on and I’d encourage more establishments to hop on board with breaking free from the chains of Entercom and Clear Channel and think for yourself.

Fast, friendly, tasty, cheap and clean — just like a Subway should be. Plus the guys there will talk your ear off about soccer if you give any kind of acknowledgment that you’ve vaguely heard of the sport before. Oh, and did I mention that they’re fast already. These guys have the production line down to a tee.

The employees here are a bunch of horny pervs so if you want extra spinach on your sandwich, show off a bit of boobage or leg and you will get it at no extra charge! Come here if you like to be gawked at and feel free to order a $ 5 foot long, they might even offer you another kind of foot long! LoL That was was straight from my female coworker’s mouth! Anyway, Subway is great and offers you a healthy lunch when you want to save a bit of cash. I come here often because it’s so convenient and the all male staff, I can really relate to haha! Oh yeah, I’ve seen the older white guy at the cash register blatantly check out the ladies and wink at the dudes making my sandwich. then the guy forgets I said no onions. I love it haha.

Been here once. The worker who took my order didn’t like to talk to I had to guess everything he was saying. On the plus side, good sandwich and one if the subways with no tax!

I read somewhere that there are now more Subway restaurants in the US than there are McDonalds. Considering how there are still so many obese people, something is not right here. This is a nice, modern Subway on the corner of Clay and Kearny. They seem to get a lot more business now with the $ 2.99 daily special. Thursday’s is Italian BMT, and because I was hungry, I got the foot-long for $ 5.98. Can’t beat getting a full, somewhat healthy lunch for less than six bucks, even if it is from a chain. I do like how they make it to order. They do have a website where you can customize your sub, but seriously why would you use this. It takes only a few minutes to go down and choose from the options. Plus, the don’t have sour dough bread as an option online.
