It’s sad the customer service here I was shorted a dollar and when I ask about it the worker freaked out speaking Spanish to her coworker not knowing I know Spanish and said here is a dollar from my tip jar how rude the woman didn’t even give me a receipt. I work in the area but I will not be back here I would rather walk to a different location

Subway is subway and I get, basically, the same sandwich at any location. What made this location noteworthy is the service. I went in shortly before close and the employees working were friendly, personable and professional – they actually seemed to like their jobs and enjoy making sandwiches. Or, more reasonably, they were able to give off this illusion while chatting with customers appropriately which I totally appreciate. Can’t say that I experience this much in most locations. Also, the store was very clean. And, I was starving and sometimes a late night sandwich just hits the spot! This one sure did.

Subway servers out here are extremely generous and nice, especially miss«Bee»(I hope I got the spelling right), but she is Awesum and kind. Luv to visit this outlet.

I arrived at 11:02 pm on a Thursday night. Worker said they only had 16 inch sourdough and flatbreads available. Almost 30 min before close. No more soup. No more cookies. Why are you open? I could have just gone to another subway.

Sorry Troops but this place gets on my nerves… I’ve been eating there now and then when I’m nearby but in the last couple of weeks they really have gone to hell. IFYOUORDERSOMETHING watch them closely. Last week my girlfriend ordered a salad and found they left off the spinach, tomatoes, and cucumber. She had asked for everything… Next I asked for a sandwich my way and got it the kid behind the counter’s way. I got the same kid again and told him what I wanted and the fool did the same thing again — it is like they can’t understand instructions. Today I ordered a tuna on Italian Herb Cheese and got home to find it on multigrain bread which I can’t stand. Until recently their work force seemed sharper the people they have now do not understand what you tell them so when you order watch them to make certain you get what you paid for… All in all this place is not impressive and flooded with School for the Chronically hip students which only adds to the confusion… My suggestion is try another Subway there are so many I found two in my garage!

Folks, this is THEBESTSUBWAYINSANFRANCISCO. Yep, that’s right, you heard it from me. Want extra spinach on your sandwich? They do it w/o complaint, and they really do give you extra, not just a couple of leaves. In a hurry? The lunch staff is efficient and always ready to man the lines once a crowd forms. Prefer fresh vegetables? You’ll rarely get a soggy tomato or brown cucumber at this location. They keep an eye on their produce. Lots of other Subways SUCK but this one is the best. At least for lunch, anyway. I work close by and come in here a couple of times a week, and I’m never disappointed.

There’s nothing wrong with this subway. The problem is that nobody bothers to Unilocal their normal/good experiences with a huge chain like Subway, so this entry fills up with cranks and it currently has only 2.5 stars. But I’ve been there several times, including today, and never had a problem. It’s bigger than most Subways and it’s also open later(until 11:30pm except Sundays). In a previous visit, their bathrooms was broken so they let me wash my hands in the employee sink. They could have just said«sorry, bathroom’s broken» instead. And today, when my order came out to $ 11.02, the woman(her name tag said«Be») rounded my change(for a $ 20) up to an even $ 9. She was polite and made the sandwich just as I asked, too. Of course it is super cheap compared to nearly all nearby options too. I’m not saying this place is exceptional or that I’d take a date there, but it’s better than some of the other nearby Subways and it deserves much better than 2.5 stars.

I LOVE subway, well I kind of love subway, you learn to love it when youre a college kid trying not to eat noodles everyday. So the past few times Ive gone its eh okay, I mean its subway so whatever. The sandwiches are always good but service on the other hand… I went in tonight at like 11:18 yes I know its a pain in the ass when a customer comes in close to closing time, but either way you still have to be nice. The lady there was so rude, kept looking at me like I was the anti-christ just because I had her do her job. Maybe tomorrow it will be better.

All right. I’ve gotten food from here like six times. I don’t know what all your problems are. I live literally right next door and on a college budget, so Subway is just about the go-to place for eating out. This place gets the job done. Every single time I’ve eaten here, both bread and meat have been just fine. Price, as with all Subways, is cheap. Granted, the employees’ English is a bit shaky, but man are they speedy at making sandwiches. They get me decent food in a short amount of time, and seeing as this is just about the only place I get my veggies, I’ll be continuing to go here for many months to come. Get over it guys. It’s Subway. Don’t expect any miracles.

When you eat at several Subways, you will likely to the conclusion that I have, some are very good, others are pretty lacking. It apparently depends on how they are managed. This location is below average in as that the bread was never as fresh as you usually find in a Subway. Their breakfast is about as tasteless as it comes. Also apparent problems with understanding the English language at this location.

Meat in their sandwiches disgusting, and they routinely play the ESL«oh price is wrrongg’ crap card trying to overcharge you for items they price on the wall above. I insisted they charge me the advertised price, not what their ‘computer tells me is different’ BS, god, what an effort to get them to comply with commercial law. When is Subway going out of business & Qiznos’ taking over their lease? Can’t wait for that day. Service from my illegal immigrant actually wasn’t too bad, he did know the differences between some of the sandwiches I asked about, but the attitude of the other staff sucked. Sorry, but this business deserves to go out of business.

1. Why has the meat tasted funny/old the last two times I’ve been here? 2. Why will you load down most of my sandwiches w/a half pound of deli meat, but only put three crappy slices of bacon on my BLT? 3. Why do you give me dirty looks when I don’t want your crappy lettuce? 4. Why do you give me dirty looks when I would like more than three slices of cucumber? Two stars: 1 for the woman who is rarely there, but makes me a mean BLT. 1 for somehow still beating out all the other craptacular places to eat under $ 15 in this neighborhood.

I’m not just saying this for the instant celebrity status it’s going to give me on Unilocal, but I’ve been eating Subway’s flatbread sandwiches since, like, the first moment they hit the scene. Boyfriend and I were initially impressed by the Chicken Florentine and the Steak & Bacon Melt, the only OG flatbread options. The flatbread was awesome, but we felt limited by the lack of creative freedom. We made a few connections, got the staff to hook us up with some of their other sandwiches, flatbread-style. Together we experimented with all sorts of flatbread combinations, eventually working our way up to the hard stuff– Italian BMT. That’s where things get hazy. I remember seeing Jared Fogle’s face in my sandwich and Boyfriend screaming«It’s either me or the flatbread»… I’d rather not talk about it. Anyways, flatbreads are now among the standard Subway bread options. Anyone and everyone can have them with whatever meats, cheeses, vegetables, and sauces they want(current street value = $ 5/footlong). It’s so 2008. As far as I’m concerned, Subway’s cookies are the new flatbread. I’m going to start getting Cold Cut Combos with bacon between an oatmeal and a chocolate chip. In a couple of months, you’ll all be ordering it too.

This Subway is the fucking worst. understand that I range somewhere between ambivalence to outright hatred of Subways in general, and I’m taking that into consideration. Yet still, this Subway is the fucking worst. #1: They charge extra to toast your sub: $.39 extra. It’s supposed to be only for cold sandwiches, but they even tried to get me with a warm sub once. #2: The toppings always look like shit and they’re constantly out of stuff. Didn’t have any lite mayo or mustard last time I went… huh? #3: the service here is pathetic. It’s the biggest fucking chore to make a sandwich. And I’ll be damned if they couldn’t have just gone in back and found a new bottle of lite mayo somewhere. fuck fuck fuck I’ll be damned if I ever come back here.

I’m going to go out on a limb and give this Subway a five star review. As a regular of this Subway(someone who has been going there 3 – 4 times a week since June), I have been continually impressed that the folks who work there know how to make my sandwich without even asking anymore. It’s a fairly complicated sandwich too: Veggie Delite 6-inch sourdough Not toasted Extra American cheese Extra lettuce Tomatoes Bell peppers Black olives Pickles Extra onions Avocado Lots of salt and pepper Lots of oil and vinegar This is the way I’ve been eating my sandwich since 2001, and I am pleased that nine times out of ten my sandwich is done perfectly. The only times I have ever been disappointed is when this Subway has been out of avocado(my favorite), and that’s not really anyone’s particular fault. Californians love avocado, so I’m sure lots of customers request it throughout the day(I happen to go to this Subway in the evenings). That said, this place is pretty good for the regulars. It seems like the employees genuinely care about getting your sandwich right after you’ve gone there for a while and pretty regularly. I’m very thankful this Subway is only a block down from my apartment.

Would you say and agree that going to Subways on a Friday-night seems pretty depressing? Well with Matt’s ill at ease work schedule, it’s not as bad as many thinks. You expect Matt to sit in the 9 – 5 office, Mon-Fri? Matt does work from 9 – 5, but 9pm-5am. It’s crazy, huh? Matt went to this Subway to buy one of the daily $ 2.99 special, which happens to be a Tuna-Friday. With many great restaurants bordering the area at dinner-time, there was an abnormal sum of people dining at this Subway. It appears that they are taking a break from their weekend partying, while Matt is picking up his lunch for«LONG» work-night.
