This is for the International Terminal before ‘G’ security to the left. Several times here they’ve been overwhelmed. Today there was a line, some Japanese tourists trying to buy SF mugs, and my barista didn’t know how to do my free drink reward entry. I quickly told her to forget it and just let me pay, but she couldn’t figure that out either. The guy behind me started giving instructions(he must have worked there before). Then the guy behind him left in a huff to get his flight. And finally my son decided the whole thing was my fault and got mad at me too. OK then, too much drama for a holiday drink. :(

Having come here multiple times the last two years, I can definitively rate this place as the worst. More than once the barrista forgot to sweeten my Flatwhite. It’s a request other starbuck locations perfectly execute. Today they announced in front of a long line that the espresso machine is broken. A barrista stocking the shelf jokingly talks to an airport employee that that machine breaks every time they fix it, as if it is a norm at this location. I had to vent. I am high on caffeine. My regular coffee is the great«Starbucks».

This is a very cute mini starbucks! That being said it doesn’t have the size or atmosphere of even the smallest starbucks. The seating is bit hammered from the constant flow of airport patrons. It works.

One of my worst Starbucks experiences ever. I even asked for a phone number to complain. They asked if I had a pen. The staff got the order wrong. Then said I’d have to wait while it was remade but as this was somehow my fault, even accused of ordering wrongly. That was fine of course, the attitude was they were doing me a favour. Please send them on customer service training. I would have made a complaint privately but I was not writing down the number. Simple word. Sorry would have helped.
