First time here. Had a cheeseburger with fried egg, bacon, and grilled onions. Awesome!

Fresh, made to order burgers. The veggies at the condiment bar are freshly sliced and well stocked. Healthier options with chicken and turkey. Owners/​cooks are friendly. One of the best burgers on Polk St.

Is this a mind blowingly great burger? No. Do I keep coming back for a very solid, inexpensive burger? Yes. The burger itself has good flavor and being able to put as little, or as much, toppings on it is an added bonus. If you are looking for a no fuss burger that’s better than a normal diner burger come her. Oh and the sweet potato fries are pretty good, as well.

I wanted to like this place. I live in the neighborhood and have walked by it and thought about stepping in to have a burger for a long time. So today, I finally did. The cashier was super nice, but the burger and fries? Meh. The patty was undersalted and didn’t have much of a char. The bun was mealy and fell apart. The fries? Tasteless. Yes, the condiments bar was nice (and clean), but I didn’t come here for a salad. Sorry, Sliders. I won’t be back.

Been coming here since high school and like I always say, if it aint broke, don’t fix it.
Make your own burger bar and fresh simple ingredients.
Nothing crazy or fancy (i think chick peas are the «craziest» thing they have in the bar) just good solid burgers and great toppings.

Horrible service. Ordered a burger, fries and a shake through eat24 for delivery. I was told the food would arrive at 7:20. It’s 7:25, and I use eat24 for a status update.
I was told the order was on its way… Now it’s 8 o’clock (30 minutes later) and I’m wondering what the hell is going on, since this place is only ten minutes away from me. I message eat24, and they tell me the driver left a note, saying he left the food with the doorman.
I walk down to pick up my milkshake, which is now just warm milk, my cold, soggy fries, and a frigid burger.
I doubt the burger and fries were mind-​blowingly good when they were fresh, but after being reheated, they were inedible. I’m thankful for eat24’s excellent customer service to save the day (and my money) from this terrible restaurant.

First off sliders will get you a decent burger to order with a choice or select sides.
The problem is the medium is always hit or miss in both directions as I think it depends on how many people are ordering. And they are rather greasy.
I still come frequently and love how many mushrooms I get on my burger. Come when its not busy and you’ll have a decent experience.

Had a well done bacon avocado cheeseburger. It was delicious. Would have given 5 stars but the fries were tasteless steak fries. Still deserves a 4

Burgers were surprisingly better than the Castro outpost. The fries are still tastelessly the same.

In my opinion, hands down the best burger place in San Francisco. Customer service is amazing.

I wanted some diner food and was excited with all the great ratings! I asked for the restroom key as I enter there was a roach about an inch and half big!!! I easily get grossed out so I couldn’t eat my food asked for a refund. They were very apologetic but sadly won’t be coming here.

Been meaning to come here for a few weeks and today’s lunch offered that opportunity. Heard great things and wasn’t disappointed! They have some great lunch specials including a burger, fries, and drink combo for a really good price. The burgers are also made to your liking and there is a condiment station where you can garnish your burger how you like with a wide array of fresh toppings. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger, though. And you can get a number of add ons and when an egg is a topping option, I will go with that every time. And they even ask you how you want your egg! I was in heaven. I also added chili cheese fries to the order and they were amazing. The chili was nice and meaty and they added a good amount of cheese that melted into the chili and fries. The burger was topped with the egg and very crispy bacon and cooked perfectly for me. An incredible lunch. And if you are particular how you like your burger cooked and topped, this is the place for you.

This place hit the spot fureal! Granted, we were hungry… very hungry. I mean, we were «ready to go behind the grill to make it ourselves» hungry. But I highly doubt what we would have come up with would have been anywhere near as good as what we enjoyed. We will absolutely be back to try something else on the menu.

Not all hot dogs are created equally. In fact, the hot dogs at Sliders aren’t even really hot dogs, they’re actually transformative experiences piped into a tube form, grilled to perfection, and nestled in a delicious (freshly baked?) bun. And if you’re blowing over 0.08 BAC, well then prepare to be transported to a parallel universe of flavor-​y fantasy on the first bite. The ketchup, yeah, to die for. Add a dot of mustard? Yeah, Michelin stars. And just when you think the dog can’t get any better, the fries hit your table. Match made in heaven. The meal was nicely paired with a Diet Coke; notes of caramel coloring and aspartame accentuated every bite. allthestars

I went here over a year ago, with one of my close friends after we were at the Spanish embassy to get our Visa’s. The burgers we had were great! Yumminess! And even better you get to pick an choose your own condiments, no one messing up what you do or don’t want and having to pick anything off.
If you want a good burger, even veggie burger or turkey burger this is the place

I’m a dummy and didn’t eat dinner prior to a concert at the Regency Ballroom. It was only fitting that my stomach was growling after the show (woo Nick Carter!). Just like how Steve has his handy dandy notebook on Blue’s Clues, I have my handy dandy Unilocal app on my cell phone to look up food destinations. Praise the Unilocal God because Slider’s Diner was only a block away from the Regency Ballroom.
Despite whining about being hungry, I settled for an order of chili cheese fries ($ 5.45). After having a drink or two, nothing sounded better than a pile of thick cut fries topped with grated cheddar cheese and chili. The best part is when the heat from the fries melt the grated cheese so it becomes elastic and ugh, just delicious. When my order was called out, I was flabbergasted with the generous portion. It could literally feed an army of 20 toddlers.
The fries hit the spot and my friends didn’t have any complaints about their burgers. I think it might just be the place to go to after a concert/​show at the Regency Ballroom.

Burger direkt vom Grill-​Karusell. Den Grill sieht man schon im Fenster von Außen. Das Fleisch wird individuell so gegart, wie man es mag. Salat, Tomaten etc. nimmt man sich selbst. Wirlich lecker und ein «must», wenn man gutes fastfood mag.
