Our favorite place to buy ground meat! The owner is always friendly and smiling and the meat is unique and sustainable.

Been there twice, loved the place. The staff is friendly, especially the owner. Food is great and the burgers are big and juicy. Love the flavors and price is quite nice too. Their buns especially are very delicious. Gluten free option available.

Awesome gluten free buns, but the burgers could be better. Service is lacking. It’s too bad because the space is great!

Burgers do not seem as adventurous under the old name which I miss. Now it seems a little bit too gourmet and pricey for a burger. The wait can also be quite agonizing. The service is still friendly and cheerful but way better when it first opened with the eccentric burgers.

I used to get their sausages practically every week at the Divisadero Farmers Market, but I found out last weekend that they’re no longer making appearances there. BEYOND sad! Seni’s sausages are fantastic, and seeing his friendly face first thing on a Sunday always put a smile on my face. Guess I’ll have to get to the Grill ASAP!

I was treated to this fine place for my last birthday. God bless my aunt for understanding that I am a hamburger adventurist. Naturally I love my local joints, but I simply must stretch out my legs from time to time and sink my teeth into the unknown. Bistro SF Grill is all about the unknown. The menu makes me feel like a child gazing sky high at my first skyscraper gleaming with sunlight reflections off the 100 story windows with marvel and thrill. Every burger sounds so unique and daring. It’s a dream come true. It took me forever to conclude how I would choose to induct myself. The venison or boar burger with raspberry sauce and caramelized onions? The lamb burger with lemon cucumber yogurt sauce? Grass fed buffalo with sautéed shrooms and gorgonzola? No! My first dive had to be in the deep end. The alligator burger with roasted bell peppers and caramelized onions. Slide some sweet potato fries on there, sonny, and don’t forget the Portuguese red! I saw my burger surfing the crest to my ever waiting hands and swear I even felt the brisk breeze trail behind it once shored. It looked amazing. And it tasted… incredibly fresh! Bistro SF Grill packs the freshest meat into their servings. That’s the first thing you’ll notice immediately. It’s funny, you can always grade the quality of the beef in any burger you eat, but when you compare it to Bistro’s you suddenly realize why you swim the streets with that spare tire around your waist. You’ve been eating over processed, chemical injected sewage for a long time. This meat is clean and pure. Not just the gator, but the Kobe beef I had the delicious pleasure of eating as well. Now the big question on every Unilocaler’s mind: what does a gator burger taste like? You’ll probably be just as shocked as me to find out it’s incredibly light. It’s like salmon or white tuna. I don’t know why, but I was expecting a darker flavor. And not that it wasn’t great, but you know how your mind thinks you’re about to take a sip of water but then it turns out your roommate just left for the store to go buy some cranberry juice? What happens? Your mind is not prepared for it. Now eating alligator didn’t make me spit it out because it wasn’t ground beef, but my mind just needed time to wrap around the tuna fish taste. Would I order it again? Yes. That order would have to come after I’ve tried everything else, though. There is simply too much adventure on that menu to repeat an order before tackling the entire line. Aside from the good food, the décor in the place is really fun and artsy. The servers are very congenial and quick to accommodate your wants and needs. I can only give it four stars because I don’t believe I’ve tried their best yet. But I cannot wait to go back and ride that roller coaster again!

The best quality meat you can get… worth every penny. I go to my market to get select items for optimum health and nutrition. One word makes all the difference: GRASSFED. There are two guys I always see behind the table… one has a very big loud robust personality… and the other super quiet communicating in hand gestures… apparently, they make a great team. If I haven’t told you guys already, I love coming to the stand. You make me smile. Thank you for being in business and supplying the goods! :)

I have only ordered a grilled to order burger here once and it was delicious. The guacamole and onions were nice additions. The variety of choices is dizzying. You can also take home packed ground beef. The spicier the better. I’ve made meatballs, burgers, and sometimes use it with pasta. This place will always be a viable option on Sundays. Just order before you start browsing the rest of the farmers market.

One of the best vendors at the best Farmers Market, NOPA. Seni rocks. I pick up the Kobe beef every weekend and recently tried the kangaroo patties. I slapped one on a bun and later used the half in my mac and cheese and it was awesome, give it a try.

Holy grease balls Batman! Lower Pacific Heights was missing a great burger place, especially one open for lunch. The owner is from Eastern Europe, so initially I thought the meat imports would be a little suspect. However, I was proven wrong 100%. Bistro Burger — your perfect typical«American» burger. Rich beef patty with bacon and cheddar cheese. Geisha Burger — Kobe beef patty cooked to a perfect pink hue. Melted feta cheese with roasted bell peppers and mushrooms. L-O-V-E their selection on Sundays at the Grove/Divis Farmer’s Market! A whole burger with a side of curly fries is too much for me to finish, plus the grease on one is enough to slather myself in it, and roll down Twin Peaks without skipping a beat. Could do without: Lemonade with Cayenne Pepper — I’m always into trying everything at least once when it comes to food. Yikes. A bunch of little red specks needing to be stirred with every sip because they sink to the bottom. The flavor was simply sub-par.

I live on Broderick and Grove and I literally roll out of bed every single Sunday just to buy their ground meat or burgers. I have been eating their meat for a little over two years and I will never buy ground anything unless it’s from these guys – in fact, I keep at least two pounds of their meat in my freezer at all times. –I replaced the pork sausage in my Thanksgiving stuffing recipe for their mild Italian. –I bring the breakfast sausage up to my parents who only insist that it couldn’t possibly be poultry. –I use the habanero sausage as the sausage component on my homemade pizza’s. –And, meatloaf and meatballs have never tasted so good. I think the burgers are great, but once you start cooking with this stuff you won’t buy any other ground meat or sausage product.

There’s a burger stand at the farmers market in my neighborhood? #^*% yeah! I was also stoked to find that the burgers are delicious. I highly recommend the lamb burgers and am looking forward to their permanent location!

SF Grill had a nice grilled smell emanating from it. the main hawker, an admitted heteresexual, was keen to compliment every gay male who came by on their nice hair, hat, shirt etc. the dude was muscled and bluffed tan. he didn’t say a word to me. maybe cuz another associate had already taken my order. locale: divisadero farmers market menu: various buffalo, lamb, turkey, chicken and beef burgers 7 – 10, frozen lamb, turkey, chicken, meat portions also available for sale. sampling: special: geisha burger(8) ½ lb. kobe burger: supposed to be done medium rare, was medium but still juicy. on brioche bun. with some lettuce and home made condiments(chutney, mustard, etc.) on the counter, it was a pretty yummy . foodnotes: –burger fresh, cooked to order. –friendly fast service. –definite repeat.

I love SF Grill… let me count the ways! 1. The guys are so awesome. I love being greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm every Sunday at the farmer’s market! 2. The meat is amazing. I had a venison burger last Sunday and practically died. Then I brought home some of the ground wild boar and made pot stickers. Incredible! All of my friends were raving about how delicious they were. 3. You know you are doing something good for yourself and the community just by buying your meat here. It’s responsibly produced — yay happy animals! It’s a small company — yay small farmers! It’s healthy and dependable — yay healthy bodies! Go get yourself to the Divis farmer’s market on Sunday. Say hello and try a sample. You’ll be hooked!

Amazing meat. They grill many kinds of burgers on-site(lamb, turkey, chicken, buffalo). I have tried almost all of them, and they are all good and all interesting, with various herbs and spices mixed into the patty. I especially recommend the Merguez(spicy lamb) and Ooh-La-La(herby lamb). They offer their own guacamole as a condiment for $ 1, and various other condiments for free(homemade onion relish, French mustard, chutney etc.). The prices are very reasonable, generally $ 6 – 8 for a basic burger. I’ve also taken home their Italian ground turkey – mixed with garlic and Italian herbs, I think – and made meat sauce with it. Delicious! So why oh why did you guys leave the Upper Haight farmers’ market? Unfair competition for the other food vendors?

Awesome made-to-order burgers from this little food stand, for now found at 2 local farmers markets — Divisadero FM(Sun), and Upper Haight FM(Wed). The burgers are served in either organic wheat or brioche buns, with baby spinach. Prices vary from $ 6 – 10 depending on your choice of seasoned meats with names like: Iggy(buffalo), Merguez(lamb), Garibaldi(chicken), Venice(turkey), Cajun(turkey), New Orleans(chicken), etc. Add cheese(Monterey or Pepper Jack) or guacamole for $ 1 extra. I ordered a lamb burger on brioche bun plus guacamole. Also added onion marmalade and some honey mustard from the condiments table. It was delicious! If u prefer cooking at home, packages of the seasoned ground meat are available for sale(makes 4 burgers or more): chicken or turkey for $ 7 per pound, and lamb, veal or buffalo for $ 10 per pound.

Spotted these guys outside Otis this weekend, and I had to get my grub on. Buffalo burgers? Yes, please. This mobile food operation is pretty impressive. Far from the taco trucks and street food vendors of the Mission, this place comes fully equipped and with a proper grill, to boot. All the food is top shelf, so you’ve got your aforementioned buffalo along with kosher beef, lamb, etc. There’s more than one trick to this pony. What I really dug is the price. You can get a $ 6 burger from these guys right outside the bar, and that burger is WAY better than anything you’ll find at Mickey D’s, Carl’s Jr., etc. A perfect blend of good prices, outstanding food, and convenience.

I had a really cool taxi driver last Friday. He told me that he djs at the Fillmore farmer’s market and that his friends have a sausage stand there. He sold me at «sausage». On Saturday am(super hot day in SF) we decided it was too hot to stroll down to the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market. and decided to check out the Fillmore market instead. It didn’t take me long to find the SF Grill booth. I saw the sign for the turkey sausages. Even though I already had breakfast. I couldn’t pass up a good sausage! They offered some nice condiments for the sausages including a spicy sweet mustard. My gf got the spicy salmon burger – it was a nice salmon steak(not ground patty) serviced with a dill sour cream. Each delicious meal was merely $ 5! The guys who manned the booth were super friendly. I have a feeling I will be trekking back there again next weekend!
