Worst service ever! NEVERGOTHERE! Because it is located in the center of the Union Square it’s filled up with tourists. Russian waitress who works there was rude when my friend did not like the desert she brought to our table. Started asking what was wrong with it and forcing us to enjoy it. And then got upset and when finally leaving after I asked her not to ruin our mood she called me a bitch! LOL Hope she gets fired and deported back to the jungles where she came from. Never going back there!

I was there with a friend who is a native Russian speaker. He recognized the waitress as a Russian speaking Jew. This waitress was obnoxious in words, voice, and body language. She is a short, fat Fran Dresher.

Worst espresso ever. I kindly said it was really bad when I sipped it(it’s really hard for me to be mean, i swear) and they just rudely told me it’s «not Starbucks,» and that it was apparently«supposed» to taste like sour water with a little bitter bite«because» it was«Italian» espresso. Ok,… really??? Honestly, I was just too worn out to waste more time or fight over it. I’ve had Italian espresso and espresso of all kinds in many different places, stores, countries, etc., and I never tasted anything like that. I’m just saying that because I’ve tasted lots of things, lots of coffees, and when it’s bad it’s plain bad.

Don’t, I repeat, don’t get bagels here. I only did because I was nursing a hangover and needed carbs. They don’t have a toaster so they«toast» on the panini press, meaning you get grill marks and not much else. Also, the cream cheese is standard food service pull pack. Which is to say, crap.

Always pass this place when I’m on my way to Rasputins to buy some music so I thought I’d try it out today. Ordered a Mango Smoothie and Breakfast Bagel, both of which were great. It seems like this particular location is located inside a hotel so the seating area for this Segafredo is actually part of the hotel lobby too. (Dunno why it was edited for the other Segafredo location the first time I wrote this review, but I definitely didn’t go to the other one. I have a receipt to prove that there is a location at 17 Powell Street. It’s right by the cable car turnaround on Powell St next to Forever 21 and Sephora…)
