He remodeled my friend’s house — by remodel — I mean everything! The house was taken down to its studs, so we’re talking electrical, plumbing, everything. It was a bit stressful for my friend and me watch the house kinda disappear. But it was so worth it in the end. Throughout the process, Sean was a really sweet guy and went over the top on making sure everything went smoothly. All his work and attention to detail made my friend soo happy, the least I can do is leave him a Unilocal review.

My experience with Sean Kelly was very positive. I had my master bathroom gutted, new closets in my master bedroom added and my home entrance reconfigured. Let’s start by saying, I am very particular. I told him during my interview process that I am the kind of person that will walk into a room and see that something is not level or straight. I have that laser eye and that I would be involved in the process checking work and seeing things on a daily basis, as I have a home office. We agreed I had to move out for one month for his team to do the demo and that I needed to be back in the house living in the second bedroom and second bath while they finished the project. I was back in the house in one month… which meant I was in there while they did the finish work. Sean is very lay back. He is easy to talk to and when things needed attention he would bring it to my attention or I would bring to his and we discussed the best plan of action. His subs were really nice and accommodating… remember, I was living and working in the house while this was going on! To tell you how particular I am I had my bathroom floor and three walls with floor to ceiling limestone. His tile guy and I laid out the in my garage exactly where every stone was going to be placed! As always with old homes we did run into unexpected issues. He presented the options pros and cons and then I made decisions based on my budget and long term goals. I would highly recommend Sean Kelly Construction. In fact we are looking at Phase 2 second bathroom and backyard deck/​outdoor living space as we speak!

I have worked with Sean Kelly on several projects, and have found the work they do to be a good value, with quality construction at reasonable rates. Sean is flexible to work with, and when there is a problem he has readily found a solution. He is also knowledgeable about «green» construction, and can incorporate it into his work. I recommend Sean for both small ($ 25,000) and larger ($ 500,000) residential projects.

About as bad as it gets. We hired him for $ 25k to install a french drain. During the project he destroyed our neighbors property (it’s cost $ 11k in repairs so far), Incurred a $ 2,000 fine from San Francisco for failing to contain construction materials (they washed into our street), and then tried to almost double the cost to complete it. Then he abandoned the project and put a lien against our house. Avoid at all costs.
