Reece and Katrina Photographers

A 5 star review for a truly 5 star experience and product! My husband and I chose Reece and Katrina as our photographers for our November 2013 wedding and we are so thankful that we did.
My husband and I had a 5 month engagement and due to timing/​distance, we first met with Reece and Katrina over Skype and they had a wonderful way of setting us at ease and making us feel like friends — a feeling that continued throughout our experiences with them. And, without spoiling the surprises here, along the way they go above and beyond in lots of «little» ways to make you feel like less of a «customer» and more of a friend.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out that their wedding packages also include an engagement photo session — something that we probably would not have had done/​been able to afford otherwise. The engagement session was a great way for us to get to know them and for them to get to know us BEFORE the big day, something I now see as such a good idea and so important.
In preparing for the wedding, there was lots of communication beforehand about what shots were wanted and who all would be involved so that when the wedding day came I felt confident that we were all on the same page and didn’t once have to worry about the photographers getting the shots I wanted.
Every couple is different and Reece and Katrina have a gift for working with each couple to illuminate their personality and style, as I have seen from their many lovely gallery photos. My husband and I were perhaps not as comfortable or artistic in front of a camera as some, but they worked with us to bring out who we are and I never felt like the photos were forced or contrived. They also have a gift for capturing beautiful images in a wide variety of settings. Our wedding was a traditional church wedding in the city of Vallejo — perfect for us but perhaps not the most picturesque setting — and they captured our day beautifully without letting the confines of the setting be a hindrance to that.
The photos from both our engagement and wedding were uploaded to their gallery website in a very timely manner and the site itself is easy to use to manage your photos.
We opted to include a professional wedding album in our package and it is gorgeous!
When it took a little longer than expected to get our album preview ready for us (something that I had hardly noticed) they automatically upgraded the number of pages in the album at no additional cost to us.

Reece and Katrina did our Engagement/​Wedding pictures and we could not have been happier. We were reluctant to do engagement pictures cause our first experience (with a different photographer) was not fun. When we met with them (at a very early hour) we had coffee and discussed what we wanted. We had so much fun on our engagement shoot that we didn’t want to stop! When it came down to the wedding it could not have gone more smoothly. We had already discussed the agenda and what should happened when prior to the day, Who was going to get their pictures done and when. They were so easy to work with and we’re always close by if we wanted a picture of something or a group shot. The best part was our sunset pictures, we escaped the reception for a bit and took some more pics and I am so glad that we did. They got our pictures back to us in a very timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone who wants very professional pictures by an absolutely amazing couple! Thanks to them we have awesome pictures to remember our perfect day!
