Right after my weekly Korean food cravings, It is like a ritual for me to get boba afterward. I was looking for a different place to get some boba on Geary after Jang Soo BBQ. I usually go to Bambu or Infinitea, but I wanted to try something different. Unilocal recommended this Quickly joint. I have had Quickly before but it really is different every time, comparing on the store. I walked in and it was quite an odd looking place. The décor was ugly and made me lethargic… Anyway I proceeded to order: — BUBBLEMILKTEA(small): This milk tea was not the best I have had. The drink itself tasted more like coffee than milk tea. I finished it anyway because I paid for it… The BOBA was totally fine. The texture and taste was perfect. — TAROMILKTEA(small): Same as the milk tea. Not the best but it was drinkable. The usual purple color was more enhanced than other taro I have had in the past. — SERVICE: The cashier lady was very nice and patient. OVERALL: I don’t think I will be back to this Quickly joint after my Korean food on Geary. It was just OK. I prefer Bambu or Infinitea.

This quickly is nearby my house, so it was natural that I would go and try it out for once. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the service I received. Upon entry, I went up to the girl cashier who was talking on a cell phone. She saw me, and continued speaking on the phone, and being a respectful person, I waited as she talked and looked over the extensive menu on the wall. After quite a few minutes, this girl was still on the phone, and not taking my order. Needless to say, this was getting to be rather annoying and I felt quite awkward just standing there. Suddenly, this girl pauses and asks in a somewhat annoyed tone«can I get your order?» Wow ok, so apparently I’m supposed to give my order as she was on the phone. I’ll try to remember that for next time, as there will probably be as despite the service, the drink was quite good. Although I asked for a «taro snow» and they gave me an «almond snow»… Come on…

«You get what you paid for» doesn’t even apply here. I paid about $ 4.50 for what I expected to be a mediocre bowl of rice and popcorn chicken. The food being well below mediocre is beside the point. The place is dirty(gnats wouldn’t leave me alone, dirty tables, etc.) and I’m not even sure if my chicken was really chicken. Even after dousing the dish with Sriracha(sp?) and soy sauce, it tasted like… I don’t even know. Anyway, the service was friendly and quick, they let me store my bike inside while I hung out, and the drinks looked decent. But the highlight of the meal was when a girl brought an adorable puppy in while she ordered. Chances are you won’t get lucky on the puppy like I did, so I’d recommend pretty much anything else in the neighborhood for a quick meal.

This is a quick boba fix right next to my house, so I can’t complain too much. This food/drinks taste like all the other Quickly locations. The popcorn chicken was crispy which is a must and the boba could have been softer, but it wasn’t too bad. I think they would keep things fresher and make boba later in the day if they got more foot-traffic. When I went, there wasn’t anyone in there — it was around 7pm on a weekday. This place doesn’t seem like it gets too packed other days either. I would feel more comfortable here if the place was cleaner. There are cob-webs on the walls, which is extremely noticeable when their walls are orange. Not too great when it’s a place that serves food…

This place has always delivered some of the best bobs I’ve had in SF for years. Their bentos are pretty good and the newer workers there are always friendly. Occasionally they can be a little on the slow side and understaffed.

I ordered through Gopago and I still waited over 15 minutes after arriving. There was only one lady working and she was extremely rude and wouldn’t even give me a bag to carry my food in consideration of my wait. I was late to work even though it should have been a quick transaction. I don’t expect that I will come here again.

Quickly is both the best and worst thing ever. First of all, it’s kind of dirty. Secondly, the name is a disgrace — it often takes 10+ minutes to get your milk tea when there is no one in the store. Third, it tends to be full of Asian high schoolers. Fourth, the products on the ads all over the store are usually incredibly unappetizing-looking and sometimes they don’t even have them, it’s «just an ad.» But for whatever reason, I love quickly. I come for the banana oreo snow with large tapioca, a great way to spend $ 4-something on a huge cup of calories. But it is seriously delicious and their fries are great too. It’s kind of disgusting, but that’s kind of why I love it.

Boba shops don’t usually get more than 3 stars from me, so I’ll stick with it. Came here the other day and ordered my new favorite drink — peach green tea with bobarz. One thing I’ve noticed is that Quickly’s definitely loves to conform to the rival boba stores around them. i.e. Teaway and self fill toppings. Now, Quickly’s has conformed and incorporated their short and fat cups as seen in Purple Kow. I was a big confused and surprised that I got this fat and short cup that won’t fit into the drink holder of the car. Wait time was a little long since I was the only person in there with a drink order, girl there was fairly nice but seemed a bit new at the POS cash system? Anyways, the peach green tea is the way to go, it’s very refreshing however a tad on the sweet side.

It takes them quite awhile to order a drink. I have even once gotten sick from there bubble milk tea. I know this because my tea shouldn’t have tasted like metal. It was probably old to because it was the literally left overs of the huge metal barrel. Gross though this being the closest for milk tea I can get at wash I ll give it two stars –davids son

What kind of Quickly’s, next to a high school no less, needs a $ 2 for $ 5 value deal( ) to drum up business? That fact right there should already tell you something is terribly wrong at this place. I love Quickly’s popcorn chicken and their green apple slushy with lychee jelly enough to rate them a 3 all around — any location. So this one star rating is specifically for this location and its employees. The gist: 1. Extremely poor service — rude employees and drinks take forever to make! 2. Drinks are not up to par with other Quickly’s — the ice in my slushy was not ground down properly(still huge chunks I CHEWED through). 3. They don’t know the deals they are offering. 4. Parking’s a bitch in this area. 5. If you’d like to know the deets of my visit, keep reading. I came in around closing time and wasn’t acknowledged until I ASKED if I could order. When I presented my coupon, both the younger girl and Chinatown Auntie had no idea what to do with it but took it anyway to show their manager in the morning. Auntie seemed more preoccupied with packing up the drinks and snacks the«right way» for the lady ahead of me, repeatedly criticising the younger girl. When the girl finally went to prepare my drinks, Auntie was oblivious we had ordered and paid because she asked the girl in Chinese, «What are they doing standing there? Are they going to order or not?» complete with the dirtiest mug that was totally unnecessary. I didn’t want to embarass her too much by speaking back in Chinese so I set her straight in English, knowing full well she didn’t speak it. Auntie was still mean mugging as we left. Her body language suggested to me that she thought we were trying to take money from her because we were standing near the counter when they had the cash register wide open, and because we used a coupon. Look at my pic! Do I look like I’m capable of robbing anybody?!? Sooooo offended. I held my back tongue from yelling, «Ah yee, ney mong mut gwai yeh ah!?» as I left(Auntie, what the hell you looking at!?).

One of the best Jasmine Milk Teas I’ve had. BUT. This was first time I’ve been here so maybe it was just today. There were only two people inside, and I was the only one in line but I actually had to wait quite a while for someone to take my order even after I rang the«doorbell» numerous times. It took longer for them to take my order than to make my drink. They accept credit/debit cards! I’m so used to the«Cash Only» option on the one in Clement that it was nice not having to worry about that.

This is a hangout location for Washington High School students. Came here the other day around noon and the staff were typical HS student, first year college kind of employees. They were disrespectful and rude. When the students came in, the staff were their best friends.

Either I’m a lucky dude who got the goods or my taste buds were quacking out… but I honestly thought this place was great! The counter girl, Joanne made awesome drinks for me and my friends. Food was top notch. Due to the fact that I dont recall having this in NY… The varieties they give out. She was on top of her game that day. So if you guys ever stop by. Look for Joanne. She seem to know how to stir up a storm when it comes to the drinks and munchies!

I love the jasmine milk tea with large tapioca. All the flyers pasted on every wall surface advertising their available fried snacks are pretty funny. Especially the one for crab claws featuring a cute cartoon crab with a bandaged claw and big emo tears. I haven’t had to wait very long for my orders here, but there was once that they had sold out of large tapioca — in the middle of the day. Is it that hard to figure out demand and order the right amount of tapioca? Super annoying credit card policy: the first time I went, there were no restrictions. The second time, there was a $ 5 minimum charge AND they only accepted debit card transactions. This is not posted anywhere, nor is it allowed by Visa/Mastercard.

I would give Quickly a solid three stars based on just service, and meals. Lets face it, its not the best stop in SF for drinks and food of the sort but convenience is a factor when you’re down town. Parking was a breeze, and the shop is a decent size, with room to sit if one wanted to. The service isn’t prompt so if youre in a hurry this isnt the place to stop. And if youre looking for a healthy meal, again not the place to stop. But if youre looking for decent milk tea, they have it . The added star for me was the fact that they make all of their drinks with soy milk. I am deathly allergic to milk and cream, which means often times that I have to pass on getting milk tea from shops of the sort. Finding a shop that makes milk tea with soy milk is a dream come true for those who are lactose intolerant or just allergic to milk like myself.

WOW! Lots of two and one stars on here but I won’t do that as this is MY neighborhood Quickly and I’m feelin for them… Ah what the heck… Yeah, this Quickly isn’t cool at all and now it makes sense why the«Lady K» hasn’t fallen in love with Quickly since we moved to SF. This is the first one she step in to and it’s NOT a good representation of what Quickly is about. The girl behind the counter talked more on her cell phone than she did helping customers who were waiting in line. The music is blaring and let’s just say the 94 health score code must have been a generous donation from the health board. Yuck! The free wifi pass code is: 7842559872, if you dare to go to this Quickly.
