We used to order here a lot. The kids love the hand tossed crust and the adults loved the thing crust. But why do the SF locations no longer offer the good deals like 2– medium pizzas for $ 6.99 each. We’ve moved to Domino’s, as they still offer the deals. Prefer Pizza Hut for taste, but can’t beat Domino’s deals and they are comparable for taste(but not great thin crust)

I order pizza from this location online quite often and they haven’t messed up until tonight. I always order a pepperoni stuffed crust, cheese sticks, and a 2-liter pepsi. Delivery guy comes with everything but the pepsi. We tell him that we ordered a pepsi and he was surprised. The guys at the store didn’t give him my drink. The delivery guy tells us that he’ll be back in 15 minutes with the pepsi and an hour and a half later still no drink. I called the store telling them what happened and asked for a refund for the drink. The employee tells me that since I payed online with a credit card he’s going to have to do a refund of the entire transaction then re ring up my order and that he’s going to give me credit for cheese sticks and a pepsi for my next order. I understand that you’re probably getting ready to close shop and you want to leave, but opting for store credit cause it’s faster isn’t always what the customer wants(I know because I also work at a café). I really dont care about the credit. I just wanted a refund for the pepsi I never got. Im pretty sure it’s not that hard to do a refund for ONE thing. Sure, credit for the drink and cheese sticks isnt bad but I still want my damn refund. Oh, and $ 18 for stuffed crust? Really? Used to be $ 15 like a month ago

If I could give negative stars, I would. Ordered for delivery 2 orders of buffalo wings… I live 2 streets over… Took an hour and a half to deliver. Ten minutes after they closed, the guy shows up w what seemed to be the leftover wings. Soggy nasty wings. And now today, my partner and I have been to the bathroom over 5 – 6 times… Yuck! DONOTEATHERE!

I move and travel a lot, so I’ve stuck to Pizza Hut since they are in so many places, and I like their pizzas. Since moving to SF, I have had only bad experiences with the delivery of this particular pizza hut. The pizza itself has been fine, but there are 3 separate occasions where I’ve been put off and that finally made me stop ordering all together. The first was when I ordered honey bbq wings and a small pizza, and I opened the door to a delivery man absolutely COVERED in bbq sauce. Just drenched, I could barely see the grey parts of his t-shirt. I think he noticed my expression because he looked down with a sullen«oh.» It turns out, he had been holding the wings box sideways, so almost everything spilled out. I offered him paper towels and napkins and a spare old towel, whatever I could find, so that he wouldn’t have to leave like that, but it was just a mess. The second time, I was greeted at the door by an older gentlemen, with a sullen expression. I said«Hello, how are you?» with my usual projected voice, and nothing. Deadpan silence. I look at him, and he looks at me, and I wonder if I will get my pizza. Finally, he drops the pizza onto the entryway ottoman at the house I was staying at, and shoves the receipt in my hand. I sign and he leaves all without a word. I am happy I got the pizza, but as someone else who works solely in customer service, I was not happy about the service. The third, and last time, I open the door to the same older gentleman as the second time, and I say the same thing, almost as a reflex, «Hello, how are you?» and he barks loudly in a language I can’t understand. I am startled before I see that he is on the phone on a Bluetooth headset. He drops the pizza into my arms, almost pushing it into my chest, and I sign the receipt. Not once did he break from his phone conversation, make eye contact with me, or say a word. I called the location to ask about this, and they simply said he was taking a call and that is normal. My job is to deal with extremely difficult and rude people all day long. When I come home, and I pay a little extra for delivery and a tip, I at least expect the food to come in one piece, and a hello, and at the very most NOT another mess to clean up or another difficult person to deal with. I think my love affair with pizza hut has fizzled to a close with these experiences here.

Overhated underrated. We ordered delivery using their mobile site. It was cheap. It was fast. It was still warm. It was delicious. Am I supposed to hate this place anyway?

What a F’d up place this shit hole is! David, the«manager» is the biggest moron to work at Pizza Hut. The fact he works there is proof enough. I was emailed a coupon offering 2 medium pizza’s, ANY way you want it, for $ 8.99 each(see attached photo) that ALSO said it was valid at THIS particular Pizza Hut. Note how it says«ask for, or order online». The dumb-ass couldn’t figure it out, so I just went across the street to Safeway & got better &MORE food for LESS money. You couldn’t PAY me to eat here. David: take note: I’m reporting your behavior and incompetence to corporate, I’m leaving a BBB review of this location, and I hope you have an umbrella for the UE Line.

Advertises online for deals that they will not accept. Always horrible service. Manager is awful to talk to on the phone. Worst Pizza Hut experience, worst restaurant experience. Just nasty human beings, there to rip you off. Bait and switch to the max. Disgusting.

This is absolutely the slowest pizza hut I’ve ever been to. I ordered on fricken pizza and am still waiting after 20 mins. Meanwhile, some guys ordered 3 pizzas after me and got their order before me!!! WTF! I’ll opt for a better pizza joint next round.

11−2−15 Last month the delivery driver forgot the 2 liter of soda and went 20 blocks back to the restaurant to get it rather than walk one half block to the corner store. I never saw him again. Tonight the store was kind enough to call me as the delivery driver was showing up to tell me they were out of 2 liters of coke and offered me Diet Coke or Sprite. The driver had no soda in hand at all…“Sorry that’s it… that’s all we have” – AFTER the order was placed and confirmed. I declined the soda and the store rep said he would remove the $ 2.99 charge from the bill. I get the receipt from the delivery guy and see the same $ 20.63 charge which INCLUDES the soda I never got. I tell the delivery guy knowing full well he is going to say what I want to hear and he says«they will take it off the bill» –as I sign the receipt because I am hungry and at least want the pizza. I got the bank email alert of the full charge of $ 20.63 which includes the soda. My phone recordered the call with the store rep telling me he was going to remove the $ 2.99 soda charge and I emailed domino’s corporate the complaint, the call record and the full credit«request» of $ 20.63. Why complain to the local restaurant if their the one with the same problems every time?. I have faith I will be credited back my $ 20.63. I would be surprised if Pizza Hut wanted to haggle over twenty bucks that would be their mistake. I have time on my hands to file complaints with everyone-yelp, the BBB, Dominos corporate, craigslist– community section, the pizza hut facebook page etc. I suspect the city health dept has not done a compliance inspection in a while at the Mission St Pizza Hut? Hell… just order a pizza and don’t answer the door when they arrive then dispute it on your debit card. Banks will easily credit $ 20.63 back on your account. The pizza and the delivery driver were both cold. That’s the way you handle incompetence or intentional fraudulent behavior. I suspect its the later. $ 20.63 back on my acct? You decide. Carl G.

Everyone knows what to expect when you order Pizza Hut, so I’ll just be reviewing what I got and the service. Delivery came in under 40 min(quoted 30), so it was quick. The delivery man was courteous and didn’t mind my small dog jumping on him. I ordered their two medium pizzas for $ 6.99. They were on the smaller side for a medium, under 12″. First pizza, pepperoni, hand tossed with Parmesan crust, was fine. The dough was a little undercooked, but the crispy cheese on the crust was really good. The rest was typical Pizza Hut: light sauce, thick cheese, good amount of pepperoni. Second pizza was Hawaiian on classic crust with siracha honey drizzle and garlic cheese crust. Not my favorite. The added garlic powder on the crust made it pretty greasy, and I would not get that drizzle flavor again. Not spicy, just The oddly sweet. Overall crust was better cooked, but felt more like styrofoam. Bacon and pineapple were good though. Total cost without tip was ~$ 22. They let you pay cash even when you order online, and those crust additions and drizzle stuff are free. Probably won’t order again from here. For the same price, I’d rather get a Cybelles large delivery and skip the extras. Might be worth it if ordered for pickup to avoid the $ 5 delivery fee.

Biggest mistake: not checking Unilocal before placing an order. These people con artists… All of the mark ups, extra fees, and lousy pizza to boot. Beware of their 5.5% Healthy San Francisco fee… For the sake of the employees, I only hope they’re getting ATLEAST half of this ridiculous markup. Then there is the delivery fee… Bottom Line — these crooks take a 12.99 pizza and mark it up 46% with taxes and fee and then have the audacity to show up late with cold pizza and expect a TIP!

Everthing is very average. We heard about their new recipes and wanted to try them. We ordered the Pretzel Piggy & Hot and Twisted. Both are just okay. Pretzel crust is a regular crust with pretzel salt. I did like the Balsamic Sauce Drizzle. The people working there are nice and friendly. You order what you want and you hope you get what you ordered.

I have a 10 dollar credit from a previous negative experience with this location. I tried to order pizza for dinner tonight and was told the only way to use my credit was if I ordered over the phone and then they wouldn’t honor the prices that were offered online. So in order to use my credit I would have to pay $ 13 for a pizza instead of $ 8 and that was the only option offered. Then the manager lied and said they don’t offer 8 dollar large pizzas online. I went right on the website and walked through the order. Keep my $ 10. You’re going to need it. The negative reviews on Unilocal!for your business reflect how it’s run. I will no longer patronize Pizza hut. What a complete difference from what it used to be.

I ordered from here today and was quite disappointed with my pizza. The only reason we chose Pizza Hut was because I was craving that stuffed crust. The staff takes awhile to address their customers when you walk in for a pickup. When I got home with my stuffed crust pizza I noticed the crust was paper thin. The only thick part of the pizza was the stuffed crust. Otherwise again, paper thin with a little sauce and cheese. I also tried the buttery garlic crust flavor and it either doesn’t enhance the flavor at all, or they forgot to add it. We also ordered breadsticks that tasted like cardboard. They were so dry and had absolutely no seasoning. You can just feel the oil from the bread… What a disappointing experience. They also forgot to give us the soda and we had to go back to ask for it. Don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here.

I was watching the Blake Shelton Pizza Hut commercial and thought to myself I haven’t had the stuffed crust pizza in over 5years! I remember it being yummy string cheesy and buttery crust. My friend wanted pizza for dinner so we order a stuffed crust and a side of ranch. The ranch was tiny! For 50cents! Rip off. The pizza was disappointing. The cheese in the crust was a weird creamy cheese not stringing mozerella. The crust was too bready not buttery or even cooked to a nice crusty crust. It was a soggy bready mess. Never again.

We ordered from here because we wanted a simple pizza and we had a coupon. Our take-out order was ready when we arrived and the pizza was still hot when we got home. My half was the chicken supreme while his was the all-meat. We ordered a hand-tossed crust which was just okay. We would order a thin crust the next time. With a coupon, we would return here.

Not many PHs in SF, but this is the better one. My brother is a fan of this brand, I’m not a fan of the food. But I’ll agree that it’s edible. I give it 2 stars if compared to other pizzerias, but 3 stars within the PH realm. This is just a takeout place. PH in Asia is significantly different, all are huge sit down restaurants with friendly waiters, extensive menus(appetizers, pastas, salads, etc.) and decent quality. Never had any problems with service here, they get extra points for fast delivery. Hours: 11am-11pm(Fri-Sat until midnight)
