I still don’t get why I couldn’t use my Peet’s gift card here. I bought it for the convenience but wasn’t allowed to use it here. The small sign indicating this policy finally came into focus after I ordered a coffee. The hipster coffee-maker couldn’t wait to tell me, «We’re a franchise. We don’t accept gift cards.» You’re a Peet’s Coffee store using the same logo, menu, food etc and yet you don’t accept gift cards? Even if the explanation turns out to be legit, the pettiness of it really irks me… Why be a Peet’s and not follow the same protocol that other Peet’s follow? Poor, poor customer service. Reeks of greediness.

Hey! This place is not closed. I just talked to Mark, the young Hasidic Jew. Anyway, there used to be a lot of exposed bootie crack here. You know-boys in skinny jeans and beasty tees. It’s Peets Coffee so it is yummy and fun and then you go sit in Union Square and watch people do weird things and maybe get a hit of pot or something. PS I got the mail you sent me. Thank you very much for your thoughtful quickness.

These guys are great. I’ve been stopping at this coffee stand since they relocated during the Stockton Street construction and hope they never move. I get my much needed brew each morning before heading into the office. They team there now see me walking up the street and have my coffee order ready for me by the time I make it to the register with out me having to say a word. The coffee itself is STRONG so I leave room and fill it up with hot water and it’s perfect. That’s great customer service. Because of this I wouldn’t go any where else.

I tried to look for this«location» on Peet’s website, but it’s not there. My feedback will have to be expressed here. I live close to the Laurel Heights Peet’s and go there pretty much every morning with my dog before heading off to work. I work close to this cart, which recently moved to where they are now. I often need a second cup later in the work day. They are not a «real» Peet’s store, but a franchise or whatever(like a Starbucks inside a Target). A glowing indicator, other than being more expensive than a real Peet’s store, is the consistency in their service & product. I’m pretty sure Baristas are trained to always be consistent with their pours, among many things. This cart is not. I’ve often picked up my $ 5 drink and felt it to be quite light about half the time. Whenever I’m in their Laurel or Montgomery/Bush locale(non-cart), it is consistent. Most of the employees here are quite competent & amenable, though not all. Some could use more grace when a customer asks for an insignificant adjustment on their more-expensive-than-the-other-Peet’s-down-the-street drink.(I apologize for annoying you as a semi-regular customer.) If it weren’t for the open«kitchen» of this cart, I would be afraid to voice anything since he would screw with my order out of anger without me seeing it, and it really wasn’t a big deal. In restaurants, customers would fear complaining to their Server, even about a small thing, for fear of their food being spit in while they are behind closed kitchen doors. As a member of the service industry, we actually encourage our patrons to tell us if anything is wrong. We are absolutely happy to make it right somehow, that we’re not what diners would think to be afraid of(except maybe our prices, ha!). I didn’t always get that. They just want a good product, not make someone’s life miserable. I will now hoof it an extra 5 mins. to visit the Peet’s at the Bristol Farms store(in the mall).

I had my first cup of Peet’s Coffee here, and I thought it was okay. I truly stick behind Blue Bottle and will take them as my first, second and third preference, but us Blue Bottle fans know how LONG the lines can be there and when you’re on the go in the morning, sometimes you just can’t wait. With that said, this kiosk is great. Usually not crowded, and coffee comes out pretty fast. The baristas seem pretty friendly, I guess. I don’t interact with them much besides asking for a small coffee and the occasional pastry.

Such a beautiful day in SF today :) I had a change of plans & needed to take the bus somewhere. so I needed to get cash somewhere. I was in the mood for something cold & I saw the Peets’ Cart. I was excited because I hadn’t had Peet’s in a really long time. I ordered my usual Medium Decaf Mocha Freddo(didn’t need the caffeine). When I ordered, the lady was slow to take my order. Not a hard order at all, so I don’t know what was going on. It didn’t take too long for my drink to be made. It did satisfy my something cold craving. Thank you Peet’s :)

It it currently in front of the main Macy’s at the Geary entrance while there is construction on Stockton street. It actually looks nicer here than at the old location but there is already a coffee joint inside this Macy’s. Better to have one at the men’s location too. The service was fine and they offer all or most of the menu at the store. It didn’t take them long to make my drink but this is in the early afternoon. I would imagine that it would be a pain to get your morning fix here since its small and cramped in this little cart for the workers to work efficiently.

It was cold and rainy and I was in the mood for a hot beverage. It just so happened Peet’s came to my craving rescue. Because this is a stand, Peet’s lacked a lot of the specialty drinks I long for. I did spy a chocolate and caramel ice blended drink and asked whether it was offered as a hot beverage. They accommodated with a mocha with a caramel shot. Although it satisfied my warm coffee craving at the right time, the $ 5(tall/small) beverage was super sweet. I drank thru the sweetness for my coffee buzz. Kudos for this stand for braving the cold, rainy and windy weather!

This is my go-to spot for a quick bite to eat before heading into the office. I pass by this little stand every work day and, if I haven’t eaten breakfast which is usually the case, I grab an almond or ham/cheese croissant from here. They always ask me if I want any coffee but I have yet to order any! :)

I hate to sound like an echo, but my latte here tasted burnt and there was way too much foam on top. Otherwise, while the fellow is shopping at the Mens side of Macy’s, I don’t mind a second or two of quiet time out front, sitting and sipping. Not a bad place to grab a pastry or drinks on the go, however, due to location. Just be prepared for tourist trap pricing.

Lemme see if I’ve got this straight. My Peet’s card doesn’t work at this Peet’s even though it says Peet’s on the front of the store and Peet’s on my card. With the same Peet’s logo on both? Apparently franchises can use the Peet’s name, but don’t have to follow other Peet’s rules, like accepting my damn gift card. What’s the point of selling out to the man, if not for added convenience you’ll provide me, the consumer(and the money you’ll make off of me as a result)? Does that not spit in the face of consumerism here, people?! Also inconvenient was the $ 3.00 small chai latte I was compelled to buy after waiting in line all that time had very little actual chai in it.

I paid a lot of money for a big ol’ cup of foam. I could tell the second I picked up the cup that it weighed about half of what it should have. Worst coffee experience in months.

When you’ve only got a 15 minute break from class and a instinctive need for caffeine, no one will do you right better than the Pete’s cart. Located conveniently across the street from my school’s campus, I always know there’s a large coffee with«a little soy milk, please» waiting for me.

While I was waiting to be picked up at C&B, I ran over here for a quick cup of coffee… This place is terrible. It’s expensive, service sucks, it’s dirty and this shop causes major foot traffic delays. And the coffee was terrible…

$ 2.50 for a 20-ounce bottle of Dasani. ??? Just because we work near Union Square doesn’t mean we’re willing to pay that much for garden hose water.

aka as Giacomos before, I stormed by and notice a Peets logo. wat the hell is a we proudly brew cart? My favorite solo local Mountanos Bean provider is gone. Now they are like push-cart office with their silly ‘proudly brew’ Peets, and ahem, APRONS? however Peets is still local but expanding faster than split ends… UPDATE: the reason why I pay more than 3 bucks for my fix at least, I expect to at least hear, not to mention smell the grinding-steam-grounds-press espresso magic of the beans about to be crafted bla blah not to PUSH a buttom to voila! wat is going on? In that case I rather go to a 7 – 11 for a .85 cents cup, yea its THATBAD and on top of it, charging me more than Café Emporio Rullis a block over, which at this point would be a billion times better. Too bad they are losing a(former) stable clientele, I think it was a bad bad move. One star because I have a fond long term affection with the(prior) giacomos punkish kids staff, ill miss you doods. BEANS: Peets. ..
