Love this place. Gave it one less start because sometimes the wait is too long in the morning or afternoon.

Is this like the Starbucks of San Francisco? Sorry if I offended anyone… hi, tourist here. But I meant it in a good way. I love Starbucks. I just saw a lot of Peet’s here in SF.
All jokes aside… Peet’s Coffee & Tea is REALLY GOOD. Very pleased with their drink selections and pastries. We came here on a Tuesday morning (around 9am) for coffee + breakfast and their was a line out the door. Boyfriend ordered a regular hot coffee with an almond pastry and I got a hot coconut crème latte with a ham and cheese croissant sandwich. To me, they one-up’d Starbucks on this one. I think their coconut drinks are new and that was an excellent idea with their marketing team. Perfect timing for summer too. My drink was perfect. It had the right amount of espresso and hints of coconut. Not too sweet but you can tell it’s a coffee drink.
Coffee was delicious and hot. My breakfast sandwich was good too.

This is my favorite spot for coffee. The staff are always happy and friendly no matter what time I visit this place. I like the variety of drinks they have here.

Barista’s are nice, coffee is fine, but no bathrooms.

The staff was okay. As a first timer, I asked for their recommendation and he gave me a blank look. After I ordered, they were like a machine in progress. I decided to try the caramel macchiato. At first, it was slightly bitter, but, tasted great at the end. It wasn’t quite as hot as I excepted, like Starbucks tried to burn your taste buds. I also got a chocolate croissant. I wouldn’t recommend it. Basically a candy bar backed in bread.
I will give it another chance — but not quite 5 stars for me.

If I could give this Peet’s more stars I would!
Every time I go to this location I get nothing but friendly service and great Peet’s coffee. This location also has Maple syrup which I always get as a Maple Mocha. I wish this location was bigger but oh well.
Thanks to the staff for being so great!

This place got a new manager recently and several new employees and it spiraled down the toilet as far as any customer service goes, e.g. over charging and not listening when you bring this to their attention, i.e. «Look at the price on the board above your head».
I now walk several extra blocks to go to the Peet’s next door to Roy’s on Mission

Friendly service and consistently solid lattes makes this place my go-​to coffee spot before work. I get my coffee fix before 7 in the morning so there’s never a crowd. I don’t know how they are when it gets busy though.
They have a bunch of options for latte flavors! I’m on a mission to try them all. So far I’ve had the Cinnamon Bun and Brown Butter Shortbread lattes. Both were delicious!
[TIP] Check in on Unilocal to knock off $ 1 from your total! This makes the latte basically one of the cheapest in the area!

This is the only Peet’s in the financial district that’s open on weekends. The service is amazing! Everyone is friendly and super nice. Best part is that they allow dogs inside (not an official policy but they just smile and look the other way). I hate leaving my dogs outside especially on a cold day so I just love this particular Peets’s location!

Having been to San Francisco twice before and missed out on Peet’s, I made it a priority this visit! This location is super close to the convention center so perfect for a quick coffee break if you are stuck in conferences all day.
Any place that has my fave drink (dirty chai) on their menu receives a star in my book. I was about to order it until I saw that check in offer for a $ 1 off any holiday drink. Obviously can’t miss a chance to save $$ so I ordered the salted caramel macchiato. Yum! Delicious drink and helped me get through the rest of my day.

Came her twice and both times I got amazing service! Coco took the time to make us samples of different blends of coffee before we purchased a bag to make sure we knew what we liked.

Went to this location twice and both times everyone was very friendly and helpful. Cocoa was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make samples of some different coffee to taste. Every location should be run like this one.

Peet’s is one of my favorite coffee places. Personally, it is way better than Starbucks and I just don’t understand why there aren’t more of these. This one is on my way to work so I go here often to get my latte fix. Small store, but the staff is consistently polite. My only pet peeve is 85% of the time I have to ask them to put simple syrup out. Also, it has gotten so expensive here and I certainly hope prices don’t go up. Other than that, I am a fan!

Great customer service! The employees here seem to enjoy working here and with each other. Happy vibe, love it! Rainbow colored hair guy served me with big smiles, joyful energy, awesome and brightened my day even more! Keep up the great energy everyone at this Peet’s Coffee & Tea store!
p. s. I was at a Starbucks store at Brannan & 4^th yesterday. I received no eye contact, no greetings, no smile nor any welcoming customer service at all from the two Starbucks employees working at that location at the time. Disappointing experience.

Je n’avais encore jamais testé Peet’s Coffee, et contre toute attente, ça m’a bien plu ! Situé en face de notre hôtel à SF, j’ai trouvé le service agréable et les cafés plutôt correctes.
Bien sûr, loin de moi l’idée de comparer ce lieu à certains de nos coffee-​shop lillois.
Mais pour un quick fix de caféine, et un Cold Brew glacé à emporter, Peet’s Coffee est bien pratique ! En revanche j’ai prix un thé glacé aromatisé, qui était hyper sucré, pas subtile du tout. Mais je n’ai pas réitéré mon erreur, et j’ai alterné entre Café long, Cold brew et Iced latte, et franchement c’était parfait.

Loved my drink! Ordered the Black Tie because my sisters wanted coffee, I wasn’t going to get anything but after a sip of my sisters drink I had to order one.

Peet’s seems to be way more popular than Starbucks over in San Francisco. I got my standard cup of black coffee. I wanted a blonde roast, but the barista told me Peet’s only does bolder dark roasts. I settled for it and found it to be satisfactory.
Also tried their maple syrup javiva. It’s like a frappucino, just a slightly different consistency. I wouldn’t say Peet’s is better than Starbucks, just different. It’s just a matter of taste.

Quick and efficient location. The staff is always nice and courteous and moves you right along.

I have been stopping by this location to get coffee in the morning on my way to work. Well, not really on the way but I make extra steps for it because of the following:
consistency of the quality of drinks. Most of them make decent espresso drinks, most of them. I know if I will like my drink once I see the Barista.
friendly service — yes, certain employee (s) here can be chatty but most of them has the perfect amount of it but not too much.
surveys — once a while, you will get a survey invite after your order. You can tell they are taking the feedback s seriously because you can see some of the improvement if not all
location and hours — works for me
If there’s one thing I can ask for, it will be staffing. Morning needs more staff, especially Baristas. There were days that I wanted to get espresso drinks but ended up order house coffee because I saw who the Barista was and people already in line waiting for their drinks.

It was late in the day, a few days before X-​Mas so I decided to treat my fellow co-​workers out to coffee since we were working late.
They all like strong coffee, so like a good waiter, I took their order and delivered their coffee to them at work.
Coming back, this beautiful woman opened the lobby door for me. I thanked her, and felt sheepish that I couldn’t juggle the tray of coffee and door.
Ironically, the woman happened to work on my floor, and since we’re siloed in our own cubicles, I never noticed her before since she sits on the opposite side of the floor.
Ironically, she too has blue eyes, but her name is Kim.
The coffee seemed way too strong, and the sea salt mocha just tasted like chunks of salt, which was gross.
So, as much as I would love to go out with Kim, it turns out she’s married with children. Yikes!
It was a nice daydream while it lasted though, even though the daydream lasted all of 10 minutes, LOL.
Here’s hoping the New Year will bring a better job and someone special to share this life with,

Pour une pause goûter, ou un réveil en douceur, c’est juste parfait.
Hyper bien accueillie, à chaque fois, même s’il s’agit d’une grosse chaine aux US, j’apprécie beaucoup ce côté «petit café» qui a été préservé. Il y a peu de places, les gens prennent souvent à emporter.
Wifi à dispo, on peut aussi s’y installer pour bosser.
J’ai choisi un Iced Matcha Latte, je connaissais sa version sans glacé, on la trouve de plus en plus en Europe, mais là tout frais, c’était divin. Une des seules boissons pas trop sucrées ici, un vrai régal !
Pensez-​y si vous passez dans Mission St !

This location never fails to make an inferior drink than the Peet’s by Yerba Buena. It’s difficult to pin down exactly what they do wrong but my lattes tend to taste better at other Peet’s locations. To be more precise, flavored drinks or sweetened drinks tend to be overdone when I ask for «lightly sweetened» or taste completely bland and watered down. Yet they taste great when I order the same elsewhere.
I contribute this lack of quality to the fact that this location is not as attentive because they get busy. Also, the fact that there is almost always someone in line, no matter what time of day, makes this a less appealing location for me.

Ça y est, j’ai trouvé ma nouvelle boisson chouchou !
A la base, je suis allée dans ce café pour y déguster un bon Chaï Latte. Celui-​ci était très bon, quoique bien différent des Chaï que l’on peut trouver en France. Comme s’il n’y avait pas les mêmes épices ou qu’il était un chouilla trop sucré. Et puis, j’ai croisé la tasse de ma collègue et je me suis dit: Mâââ qu’est-ce que c’est ?! Un Matcha Latte ! Grande découverte pour moi ! Je goûte… C’est délicieux ! En fait, c’est un breuvage onctueux et mousseux à souhait à base de lait et de poudre de thé vert ! Un régal je vous dis ! En version chaude et en version froide, il faut absolument tester les deux. Bref, une nouvelle addiction en perspective !
Le personnel est adorable, ce qui né gâche rien ! Le seul bémol: la salle est assez petite donc les places sont vite occupées. Heureusement qu’ils font à emporter !

Delicious! The nutty flavor of almond milk goes really well with the vanilla, and I don’t feel that extra sweet flavor that I taste in soy milk.
I like this particular location because it’s right by my office. For some reason it doesn’t get ridiculously crowded in mornings unlike Starbucks around the corner. If I need a breather from working at my cube, I often walk down for a quick break. There’s also a few tables available if you want to eat lunch here too (usually I grab a bahn mi sandwich from Tart to Tart and come eat at Peet’s). Additionally, there is no overwhelming background music if you want to do some work at this location – just the hum of espresso machines.

Eigentlich ein Kaffee-​Laden wie jeder andere auch, aber trotzdem fand ich Peet’s besser als Starbucks zum Beispiel. Mein Dark Chocolate Mocha war superlecker und echt stark, zumindest hab ich am Ende an der Arbeit nahezu vibriert. Ich muss aber auch dazu sagen, dass ich normalerweise keinen Kaffee trinke, aber manchmal muss es eben sein. Es geht alles ganz schnell von der Bestellung, bis man seinen Kaffee in der Hand hat. Noch dazu sind die Leute hinter der Theke echt nett. Eigentlich bleiben außer niedrigeren Preisen keine Wünsche offen.
