Either it’s out of habit or you just like the place, I’ve nested at this Peet’s for years. Even after ten years disappearance, I go back there & the same regulars. When you go there, nothing really bothers you even though you might have lot going in your life. You’re just nested there, know what I mean? Their teas are very rich, dark, blended with flavor. Way to go, Alfred!

Morning off to a rough start? Go here. The baristas are so darn friendly. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted as if I’m a long-time friend. The lines never seem too long, I think they just do a fabulous job of expediting orders. I’m a little boring when it comes to coffee shops, I usually opt for a cup of the house vs. fancier lattes and such, but regardless, I’ve always been a fan of Peet’s Coffee and this location is the whole package!

I really enjoyed my first visit here this morning. Wonderful coffee, fast and prompt service, and a clean environment. The only complaint I have is that they don’t have water sitting out. You have to ask for a cup at the counter which I could imagine would be a hassle if they were busy. Not to mention they only give you a small cup. Since they are next to a bagel shop I think a water pitcher would be a great addition!

Peet’s coffee is my favorite and I would rather drink Peet’s than any other. However, Peet’s coffee as an organization is not the same as it used to be. I was poisoned twice recently from old sour half and half that I added to my coffee at Peet’s, once at the Polk Street near Vallejo location and the other at the Embarcadero Muni/BART station Peet’s, within one year apart. This is food poisoning and it really makes you sick which can take a long time to heal. My food poisoning at Peets Polk Street location happened three weeks ago and I have not fully recovered yet. I am not sure if Peet’s managers and store owners realize that this is serious food poisoning and you may have to go to the emergency room. I still continue my treatments, have missed work and so far I have seen my doctor three times. My stomach still hurts. When I reported that I had bad half and half at t the Embarcadero Muni/BART station Peet’s, I was told that they do not have enough refrigeration to keep all milk and half and half refrigerated. When I called the Polk Street Peet’s, they just said they were sorry, so I don’t know what their excuse is. When Peet’s was a small coffee shop business in Berkeley, no one got sick from bad half and half but now they do which tells so much about how Peet’s has changed and cares so little about its customers. Additionally, the employees at Polk Street Peet’s were rude in a couple of occasions. One time I asked if they had any gluten free pastries and the Peet’s employee standing behind the counter literary jumped at me as if I had offended him. I could not understand what I did wrong that deserved that rude behavior directed towards me. In fact a female customer noticed and she commented about it sympathizing with me. Another time, when my turn came in the line to order, a barista behind the counter completely ignored me and attended to the guy behind me as if I did not exist. When I spoke up and said that it was my turn to order, he continued serving the customer behind me saying that I could wait. I just did not get it, I was in front of the line standing right in front of him. This is rude and very poor customer service.

The Berkeley-based coffee company and the Golden State Warriors have joined together and introduced a limited-edition blend: «Warrior’s Ground Dark Roast». For $ 10.00, the 12oz blend has a mixture smooth taste of New Guinea and Kenya. 5% of the proceeds go to a local basketball program for kids. As a huge Golden State Warrior’s fan like Joe Cool, «You got to love that!» The limited edition blend:

I LOVE and ADORE this fabulous PEETS coffee venue nestled in the heart of this Polk Street hood. It’s a small venue with not a ton of seating, but still more than adequate for the locals. When I lived in Cow Hollow for years, this was fantastically close to our apartment. My bro would sometimes grab a PEETS after early morning Yoga class at the Crunch on Polk and bring it back to our apartment just as I was waking up and moving into the living room. So, while they don’t do delivery, I kinda had my own delivery service. The regular PEETSniks who frequent here are very friendly and will exchange a small chit chat conversation with anyone who comes in. We already know you are a fellow PEETSnik tribe member, so we have that in common, a clear sign of good taste.

This peets coffee is the best. There is hardly a line and the staff are really friendly. The shop is also always clean which is something that not all coffee shops can say. No matter when I go the coffee always seems fresh unlike many other places where it taste like I’m getting the burnt coffee at the bottom of the pot. I had gotten a french press to go cup and had to exchange it for a different french press and it was hassle free. I was in and out in no time.

Decent coffee and friendly service. I had a latte with soy milk. It was ok. I’d probably pick blue bottle or some other coffee if I could, but this is pretty decent. The staff are usually consistently friendly, this is a decent atmosphere to work on your laptop.

I must say, That Kintama was really good! Oh, Sorry, I should not say Kintama. The full name is Bali Kintamani. It’s a coffee bean from South Pacific. 17 bucks for 1LB. No wonder it’s the best pick of the month. Earthy Sweet, indeed! This coffee is more than Golden Balls! This coffee makes me so happy! It might seem crazy what I’m about to say Kintamani it’s here, we can take a coffee break I’m a hot air balloon that could go to space With the air, like I don’t care baby by the way [Hook:] Because I’m happy Clap along if you feel like a cup of coffee with Kintamani Because I’m happy Clap along if you feel like happiness is the coffee Because I’m happy Clap along if you know what happiness is to you Because I’m happy Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do happy, happy, happy, happy happy, happy, happy, happy

Woo hoo! $ 1 off your mix drinks for checking in on your Unilocal app. Just do it! I did. It was a sunny afternoon of exploring this charming neighborhood. All we did was walk up and down the street to check out the shops and restaurants. We climbed up one of the hills to take a peak at the skyline views of Golden Gate Bridge. It was breath taking. Well, all that walking got me thirsty. And Coconut Mint Chocolate Freddo brought us in. The drink was slurpy good and refreshing. But would I buy it again, no way. I’m not too into the coconut milk, oddly, it tasted a bit tart for me. But this drink won’t stop me from going back to this Peets Coffee shop. There are plenty of other drinks to explore… just like the neighborhood that we just discovered.

Nice set up in Russian Hill. First off I’d never visited the Russian Hill hood and I like it! It’s kinda Nob Hill meets bohemian perhaps. Anyway I really enjoyed sitting in the handsomely decorated space with my Matcha Green Tea Freddo and listening to my Chica shine on the radio(well on my friend’s smartphone actually). I could tell that neighborhood regulars definitely are cozy here. Perhaps I’ll find myself back there again!

In the not too distant past, I found myself hanging out here for way longer than I had anticipated on one cold but sunny morning. I picked up a medium café au lait, a blueberry muffin and settled in with my magazine to hang out and watch all the folks walking by on Polk St. In general I’m quite the fan of Peet’s coffee, but on this occasion, I have to say my cup of coffee seemed to stay hot much longer than it should have and seemed like the tastiest cup of coffee I’ve ever had. I have to thank the staff there for keeping the place clean and well maintained, being friendly to their patrons, making a really good cup of coffee and not kicking me out for hanging out there so long! Love Peet’s!

I’ve been here twice now for business meetings. Once around 10AM and another time at noon and we stayed for more than a few hours each time. The staff is really friendly. The drinks are good. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I was also impressed at how many of outlets they have indoors for customer use. Unfortunately there weren’t any outdoor outlets, but then people would probably mooch electricity after hours too. There’s also free WIFI with purchase; simply ask for the WIFI code from the staff. It says it’s only available for one hour, but I don’t recall that it ever cut us off. There’s lots of street parking in this neighborhood too. This place is never crowded or noisy. It’s quite a nice Peet’s Coffee!
