I kid you not but I come to this location almost everyday since its conveniently located by my apartment. Triple shot lattes is all I ever get and can’t get enough of. Just one sip of coffee touches my soul. I must say Peets has the best coffee beans. The richness, bold, tasty flavor and aroma keeps me coming back or I might just be a caffeine addict. See you guys tomorrow.

It is Peets so the coffee is about what you’d expect. However, I got here at 7 and they claimed to be closed when the hours on the door clearly state that they’re open until 8.

Why is this labelled Fillmore? More like the Tenderloin! Anyway I was in coffee hell since there weren’t any good coffee shops in the City’s armpit. That’s until I found this Peets. In a better part of the loin and doesn’t require a major hike to visit. Like other Peet’s, it was pretty busy in the morning. However the line moves fast and the baristas are super nice. Coffee was good too!

Service is ok until you send a drink back. Be cautious… your barista will be disgruntled, unapologetic, and put fault on your taste. Staff is unhappy to be here. Their morale need boosting! My only complaint is with their specialty beverages. I’m certain there’s a standard formula to making these drinks but there’s definitely a lack of care/consistency. Everything has been awful lately!!! I come here 3 – 4 times a week. And for $ 5 a drink… it’s not ok to get crap coffee/service. Nothing tastes like it should be. It’s either watered down, too milky, too strong(two shots instead of one), no vanilla or mocha flavor, or odd flavors etc. I swear only Ben and the tall blonde(I apologize for not knowing your name) know how to do it right. Unfortunately, they are hardly ever seen behind the counter. Please please retrain your staff on how to brew beverages the right way. Until then, Philz it is.

I always stop in here for my afternoon coffee break, the baristas are so great here, always very friendly and nice to chat with. Peet’s Corporate should do something nice for the employees of this location, the employees really stand out as very hard working and are great to their customers.

Line out the door in the morning rush, and the guy at the cash register gives a dissertation on his sales approach. When you are busy, please work hard to serve your customers.

I’m generally not a big fan of Peet’s coffee since their espresso always has a hot brewed coffee taste. But this place wins me over by their friendly service, incredible location, and spacious, clean seating area. None other Peet’s location exhibits the same quality except the one in Fillmore at, which is currently under renovation. I love how it’s situated right next to the bookstore. What goes better with coffee than books? I would love to give it five stars if only the wifi can be more stable and sturdy. It’s frustrating that it takes about 10 mins to send an email. No kidding. Anyway, come over for a morning coffee, this place will totally gets rid of your Monday blue!

If you’re in a bind and you need to grab something to drink & eat before going to a meeting in the area, a film at Opera Plaza or a reading at Books Inc, pop into Peets Coffee store. They carry food now that can tide you over until you have a sit down meal. There are sandwiches, orzo/lentil salad containers, a cheese & fruit tray, boiled eggs, yogurt parfaits –easy peasy to pick up. Taste: s’okay…not bad. But it would be nice if the sandwich could be heated or the salads packaged with a little more flair. Anyways, it gets the job done when you’re hungry and sweets just won’t do. Just so you know…

Love the hustle and bustle of this Peet’s. No matter how busy they are, the staff are always calm, take your order with a smile, and are quick to get you your order. Thanks! :)

Today was my lucky day. After a long day and heading out of the city, looking for a good cup of coffee. Dropped in to this store of of VanNes, and found the most friendly helpful staff/workers. This is a great place to stop before getting on the freeway on your way out. Thanks to all on the late afternoon shift.

I was walking to work and saw the advertisement for the new Milk Chocolate Almond Mocha drink. I was down to try it based on the description alone. So, in I go – short line and a nice gentleman behind the counter ready to take my order. They had two different speciality drinks: the one listed above and a toffee drink. I asked him which one he recommends. He suggested the chocolate almond mocha, so I opted for that. He was very nice. I paid and picked up my drink in less than 3 minutes. I took a sip and surprised at how rich and true-to-taste it was. I mean you can really taste the chocolate and almond flavors! This drink tastes amazing, so if you haven’t tried it, go and try today! All in all, I always have a great experience at peets! Thanks guys!

This Peet’s is always full of customers and is never too busy for you! The baristas are really cool… I’ve never felt so welcomed in a coffee shop. I’ve been a regular for almost two years and my experience every single time has been pleasant. They remember your name and always greet you if they aren’t too busy. I personally think they’re all quite fashionable as well! The building is connected to a bookstore that is really nice and convenient as well. They’re fast and I always leave with a smile on my face! Thanks guys you’re number one!!!

If I can start every work day with a large almond latter, extra hot from Peet’s, I can probably triple my tolerance for elevator small talks and my productivity would surely fly over. This a great Peet’s location. It’s connected to the bookstore next door and inside a small plaza of shops and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and nice here. They’re always happy to see you. There’s about 6 small tables and countertop seating along the store front window. Also, there is a restroom. I love the ample amount of natural lighting in this coffee shop. Their coffee drinks are always on point. Peet’s has better quality than Starbucks for sure! Too bad their prices are a bit higher, but hey, $ 5 is not too much to ask of you are getting productive-happy-feel-good-vibes in return. My drink of choice: Large almond latte, extra hot. Yup, I love my classic espresso drinks.

Couldn’t check in cause this place wasn’t in Unilocal yet. Baristas were really nice and helpful. Ordered the hazelnut cinnamon(seasonal) and it was perfect. Not too sweet and didn’t take like crap.

Pretty good Peet’s. Friendly baristas. The line moves pretty quickly during the morning rush. Plenty of seating. And you can walk right into A Clean Well Lighted Place for er… Books Inc. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, on the bookstore side there are a couple tables in there that are really chill. It’s nice to be in a bookstore while you’re getting your coffee on.

I’ve been coming here for the past three years and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet. The staff is really friendly, especially Jon who always has a smile on his face. Most of the baristas know how to make a tasty cup of coffee. There have been times when they fell short, but it’s usually with the newbies. After some experience, they get it right. It can get really crowded, especially on Friday mornings. But it’s difficult to be impatient because service is quick. Be sure to check in on Unilocal for discounts on their seasonal items!

Ok ok ok… I need to make it known that of the 100 times I’ve been here, only 1 has been crappy, thus the 3 stars. I work one block away and my team and I frequent this Peet’s location a minimum of 2 – 3 times per day. We know many of the staff by name and love them! ie: John and the guy with the nail polish. However, I stopped in this weekend to a surprisingly slow moment at the coffee shop and was hardly«helped» by a young man named Kyle whose attitude made me start to look around for a hidden camera. I literally thought I was being punk’d, like three times. From his lack of acknowledgement to forgetfulness of a simple two drink order(I repeated my order one step at a time, 4 times and after handing him my money, he asked me how much I handed him after staring at it without counting it)…to rudeness, you’d think he was independently wealthy or something cause he sure wasn’t about his job that day. I’ve always look forward to popping in because of the friendly faces, helpfulness and good cup of coffee. However, I now feel like I have to wear glasses and fake mustache and do a quick walk by to see if Kyle is there because I would hate to experience him again. Yes, I know… total first world problems.

I come here every day. Love the employees — fast, friendly, accommodating. But, I have a bone to pick with one person. Oftentimes, I order a looseleaf tea, which requires someone to spoon the tea into a bag so that the tea can steep without you later swallowing tea leaves. Part of that bag hangs out of the top of the cup for the same reason — to keep the leaves in the bag and out of your mouth. Now, everyone in every tea shop that I’ve ever been to knows that that top part of the bag needs to be tucked in somewhere(typically, between two cups) in order to prevent it from wicking hot water out of the cup and on to your hand… everyone but this one person at this Peet’s. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not opposed to self help, but the opportune time to tuck in the bag is before you put 20 ounces of scalding hot water in the cup. It’s not easy to do it after the fact… Anyway, this is the most petty Unilocal review I’ve ever written, but this shit is annoying. Otherwise, I love this Peet’s. Someone please just tell the dude about tucking in the bag. Piece.
