I want to return a lot of the products I allowed myself to be talked into getting. I did not receive a receipt from Orogold on Market and I want to return a lot of the extremely expensive and ineffective products I bought. I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to be taken to the tune of almost $ 5000. I will try to return the products and get my money returned before pursuing other avenues.

Worst experience I’ve ever had while shopping. The one I went to was in the Arden Fair mall in Sacramento. I was greeted by a pregnant lady named Michelle, I believe. Anyways, she gave me samples and lured me into the store(biggest mistake ever, if they try to hand you samples, KEEPWALKING!). She did her thing. My BF asked to see the ingredients of the exfoliater. It’s basically watered down petroleum jelly with golden specks in it. She told me the price was $ 180. Told her it was out of my budget because I’m in school and paying for my own education. She brought it down to $ 120… Still pricey. She says, «okay. I’ll do something sweet for you, I’ll give you my 50% off discount and give it to you for $ 60.» That struck a red flag — why would she discount such a luxurious item for that cheap? So she takes the product to the register and my boyfriend and I tell her that we think we’ll pass because of school coming up… Then, she has the audacity to say, «I feel so sorry for you.» WHODOESTHAT??? Oh yeah, if you look at their products on Amazon, you can buy it there for half the price they ask for in store. Obviously she was trying to scam me because I’m young. I’m young but not stupid, woman.

I can not say anything nice about this so called company. I am speaking of the one inside The Galleria Mall in Roseville, CA. They have stores and booths all over the place that you cant ignore. These people harass, belittle and make rude comments every time I go to the mall. You tell them nicely you don’t want their samples and I have been called names, had noises made at me and even spit at. This is absolutely unacceptable and any mall that lets this place have a business there should be ashamed! They rip off the elderly which is very sad and shameful. This store should be put out of business! Do not look at these people just keep walking do not get talked into buying any of their products!!!

I was given a free Trial Supply of the Cleopatra Serum Moisturizer at this Shop in the Financial District, & after 2 weeks of use I saw & felt no improvement. Its practically just wrapped in ‘Gold’ Packaging but nothing id actually buy. I have a strong feeling this is the same kind of Kiosk as Premier Dead Sea. The manner in which the Staff here try to persuade and convince you by inviting you to their products is just as aggressive and nearly the same. The only thing Gold about ORO is the money they make off of selling you their rubbish-super over the top expensive products! Seriously do yourself a favour and head over to Sephora or Bath & Body Works and Treat yourself to their stuff, or Aveda, or even go to a Department Store that at least has Legit Skin Care Products. NOT Here!

Totally agree with everything that has been said by all the others here on Unilocal.I knew that I had had to do with a bunch of shysters the moment I walked out of there. And sure enough when I got home and compared internet prices I found that this group of despicable individuals grossly inflates the prices of their products in the store and then talks you into buying their products by offering what then appears to be a superb discount. The demo of the peeler is a scam as once you get home you will find that you can’t get that stuff off your skin. Really an inferior product being talked up by a group of car salesmen.

Keep your tunnel vision towards Bloomingdales or Nordstrom because if you someone get caught with an Oro Gold sales associate you’ll be eating up lies for the next 1 hour… Let me begin by saying– I am not a sucker spending money on frivolous things left and right, but I do spend money on my skincare. It just so happened that I was headed to Nordies to speak with a sales associate on switching my skincare line, as mine was not fitting the bill. Shopping on Memorial Day is no piece of cake so I am dodging people left and right, but am somehow stopped by a tall charming man named Nadav. What I am about to tell you next is the experience you can expect from ever Oro Gold sales kiosk you’ll ever run into: First compliments, «You have such beautiful skin!» «How old are you for having such nice skin?» «You obviously do not need to switch you skincare line too much-» but then comes relation and comfort. «I am also 26!» «Look at my skin– perfectly clear because of Oro Gold.» Now time to aww me. He pulls out the exfoliate that literally takes of the top layer of dirt and grime for my hand!(Turns out it is the same reaction as allowing glue to slightly dry on your hand). I was such a sucker for it… Anyway I walked away spending $ 450… I called my mom immediately after and she informed me that I was scanned… The products are sold on Amazon for a fraction of the price. Luckily I turned around and demanded they make a return. Nadav felt bad and returned everything… He– personally– is fine and helpful, but these people are trained to sell. It’s scary. If you want to know more about the true nature of this company– search it online. And… stay away is all I can say.

Just like all the other legitimate reviews of Oro Gold, Orogold, VineVera, vinevera, this new location on Maiden Lane utilizes all the same questionable sales tactics and hyper-inflated«retail» prices. If you are handed a «free» sample from someone hanging outside the front door, keep walking! PS The business card lists this as the«Maden» Lane location, which should be a tip-off!
