Are food trucks following me? Or am I following the food trucks?
Two fancy food trucks showed up near my office the other day. There were lines, so I didn’t go. The next day there were two different trucks. Still lines. Didn’t go. It took me a few more days to realize what was going on. This week I finally tried Liba Falafel and thoroughly enjoyed it.
So glad mini-​OTG is here. Wish it would stay.
If it wants to earn a fifth star, they need to bring in a taco truck. Some food is just made for mobility.

CLOSED — The good times have ended… they were opened for four months, as originally planned.
Daily at lunch hours between 11am-​2pm. They will be here for at least four months, possibly five? Two different trucks show up each day.
I did notice a coincidence, or it might be a good trend? One truck might be considered «unhealthy» fare and the other focuses on «healthier» items. Either way, have an early lunch as they start running out of items around 1pm or there is a 10+ minutes line by noon.
Expensive if you’re on a budget and even more so if no fan of fusion food, so the extra star is for convenience for us office drones.

OTG 2^nd Street

This week a new temporary mini OTG debuted on 2^nd street, near Folsom.
2 different food trucks are featured each weekday. Good news for the nearby offices lunch crowd.
This food truck spot will continue for a few months into next year, while the building owners are constructing a new retail area
and renovating the plaza.
It’s on the same block where Maya restaurant went out of business, and both Snack Depot & Tully’s were displaced by the construction work.
Note that unlike other regular OTG events, there are no chairs here. The outdoors dining space near the building belongs to Lee’s Deli.

Tue: Koja Kitchen + Liba Falafel
Wed: Doc’s of the Bay + Phat Thai
Thu: Kasa Indian Truck + Fins on the Hoof
Fri: Arki Truck + Smokin’ Warehouse BBQ
