Great service. Excellent food. Very fresh, and expertly prepared. Clean establishment to eat in as well. Not sure what to order? Try a mixed grill!

Very rude service. I came there at 10:05am this morning and asked for breakfast. The lady was very rude to me and refused to serve me without even saying sorry since I was 5 minutes late. Won’t be coming back here again.

I was really happy with my experience here, both in terms of food and service. I got the tuna wrap, and it was really good. Perfectly cooked, well spiced, and gigantic. The best part of my experience was that after I(unknowingly) left my wallet there, the found me on Facebook and messaged me that I left it there. I really appreciated that extra effort around customer service. Will definitely be going back!

Love the Drumm location and super happen when they opened the 1st Ave location since it’s even closer to my office. Very efficient ordering system. The staff is super friendly and get things right. There was one time where they told me that they accidentally made my wrap extra spicy so they were making me another regular spicy one but let me keep both. I always order the gyro. I really should branch out and try the chicken melt too but everytime I go, I want that delicous beef/lamb meat! We have ordered falafel and other side dishes before for catering and everything I tried was super tasty, so in my book you really can’t go wrong when you crave some Mediterranean!

This is not the«kebab» I know. I ordered kebab in plate and they just give me some cold meat and four sauce served for dip. It supriced me cause it is not the kebab I used to know… Not to mention if THIS is real kebab or not, the sauces are … Ur, well… Burnt? Overlooked? In a word it tastes bitter and the next day I have a diarrhea. I rarely rank a store one star even if taste not that delicious; maybe it just not suit the taste of mine. But in the situation that I ate something bad, sorry.

Mediterranean is officially my favorite food type, which makes Oasis officially one of my favorite SOMA lunch spots. Points for: big portions, flavorful meats & sides, super quick service. Prices are not the cheapest compared to other fast-casual joints(plates are $ 11 – 13) but considering the amount of leftovers I usually have, the prices make good sense. I love the chicken shwarma plate, which comes with loads of marinated chicken, rice, creamy hummus, baba ganoush, cucumber salad, and tabouli. Such a well-rounded meal! The ordering system is really quick & efficient and they have a good amount of seating if you want to stay & eat. Only complaint: the pita bread is SO bland! Maybe that’s the whole point of pita bread, to just be a vehicle for condiments? Seems kind of sad. Everything else is delightful though!

Great place to have lunch if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean food. I went with the Kefta kabob plate. It came with a lot of food. I took off one star because I think they forgot about my order so my coworkers had to wait longer for them to get my order ready. Overall the food was pretty good, will definitely stop by again.

10/22/2015: Oasis Grill is certainly one of the best restaurants to patronize when seeking to satisfy the Greek /Mediterranean cuisine cravings. Here is the reason: When I worked as an event staff at Moscone Center(8÷31−9÷3), one of the lunches I had were catered lunch sets. It must have came from the restaurant across the street, and I discovered Oasis Grill through these lunches. One of the lunch boxes I picked up had a Beef & Lamb Gyro. This is one item I picked up on opening that lunch box. A box with 2 pieces of Baklava came as a dessert and a wonderful way to complete the meal. A Beef & Lamb Gyro sounds very delicious and I am craving for one while writing this review. I came in for the need to get something to munch on, so I stepped in and looked at the menu. After looking at the menu, I ordered the Curly Fries and it was delicious. Some of the items offered look very delicious and that is for sure. These items include Shawarmas and Salads. One item I liked was the Greek Salad they feature on their salad selection. Overall, positive first experience here and I am coming back for a Shawarma and a Salad. The line wasn’t too long when I came in, conversations were kept to a minimum and it was all about getting work done. I see staff members working hard to strive for and maintain maximum service efficiency. Props to that! Reasons for rating: — Excellent, prompt service — Friendly staff team — Clean facility — Convenient location — Sits around 20 – 30 customers This location is open: Monday — Friday 10 am — 10 pm Saturday 11 am — 7 pm It really would be nice if this restaurant open on Sunday! *Catering and delivery services are offered — please feel free to click on *FYI — they don’t have their own Wi-Fi however, the Wi-Fi signal is 1001st St Lobby or Google Starbucks. They are located in the lobby level of the 1001st St building and Starbucks Coffee is right up the corner from here. Also, this restaurant is located across the street from the San Francisco Transbay Terminal(currently being renovated).

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride, so if wishes were shawarmas, then FiDi workers would dance for joy. OK, that analogy didn’t quite work, but let me tell you that Oasis Grills are popping up everywhere because there appears to be a strong kinship between worker drones and Mediterranean wraps at lunchtime that cannot be ignored. In the shadow of the burgeoning Transbay Terminal, this spot illustrates that point, and in turn, it’s probably the most efficiently run outlet among at least the San Francisco locations in the mini-chain. I came with a colleague at the peak of the rush and have to admit the experience was comparable to any Chipotle in town. This all started with the tiny original location on Drumm Street, and now their specialty wraps are getting as popular as Chipotle’s burrito bowls. They offer salads and signature plates, but like many drones, I come here for one of their 11 wraps. My favorite is the $ 10.99 Kefta Kebab Melt because it combines that standard ingredients of hummus, tomato, cucumber, and lettuce with fresh-from-the-grill seasoned ground lamb and beef in a generous-size flatbread(photo: ). It’s filling and delicious. No wonder swarms of FiDi proletarians flock to this place, especially when the staff is such a well-oiled machine. So I guess I’m right… if wishes were shawarmas, then FiDi workers would dance for joy… or at least stop texting on their smartphones for five minutes. FOOD — 4 stars… these big wraps don’t deserve a rap on the knuckles AMBIANCE — 3.5 stars… a relatively small space but clean SERVICE — 3.5 stars… no chit-chat here, speed is the queen TOTAL — 4 stars… not quite midnight at the oasis since they close at 10PM

If you are looking for a quick, solid lunch in the city, this is your place. I pretty much only order the Chicken Sharma Wrap SPICY, and it has not disappointed yet. The salads are also pretty great, and I am sure the other meat options are solid as well.

Quick place to go for lunch in FiDi. I’m a sucker for mediterranean food especially anything shawarma related. Literally could eat it all day everyday. Typically Fidi place, if you’re here between the work place lunch rush, so between 11:40 — 1pm during the week then yes, there will be a line. BUT this line, unlike some other places in this neighborhood, goes by super fast! I tried the chicken shawarma wrap, as did my co-workers and we were all pleased. I cannot do spice, literally no spice at all. So I specified mild and yay! It was actually mild! Overall quick and easy lunch and pretty tasty too! Plus for $ 9 I’m very happy :) Tip: The serving is massive! Easily take it to go, eat one half and throw the other half in the fridge at work for later that day or for lunch tomorrow! Then you get two lunches for $ 9. Not bad!

Went here for lunch around 12:15 and there was a line out the door. There was a server taking orders and giving numbers to those in line(really high efficiency). The line went by rather quickly and it took little time to prepare my wrap. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and my coworker had a gyro wrap(both about $ 9). The wraps were just the right size, fresh and tasty. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.

Easy and healthy choice for the busy SF worker who doesn’t bring lunch. I always like getting the Chicken Shawarma wrap with mild hot sauce. If you are looking for good place to people watch as well then this is the place for you.

This location seems like a wiser choice than the original one on Drumm Street since the lines appear to be shorter and there are ample tables to sit at if you wish to eat in. They seem really efficient at reheating the meat, filling the wrap and grilling the wrap briefly so you can get your food at Chipotle-esqe speed. It’s kinda disappointing that neither of the shawarmas nor the gyro slab are cooking on the rotating vertical spit during the lunch rush. I much prefer a crispy shaving from the spit to shredded meat heated up on the griddle. Unilocal’s definition of a 3 star is «A-OK» and that’s how I feel. It’s a good option for a quick shawarma fix, but I’ve definitely had better(and crispier) in NYC and in Europe. Beef Shawarma Deluxe: Perfect if you can’t decide between meat or falafel. Or maybe you can only partially commit to a Meatless Monday. The beef is thin and tender, but not crispy at all. The falafel has a nice not-too-dense and not-too-chewy mouthfeel, but the exterior isn’t crispy either. I definitely like their lavash wrap more than a pita and it’s a great finishing touch to grill it a bit after being assembled. The veggies seem fresh and are cut small enough so you never get duped into a mouthful of vegetable instead of meat.

Beef shawarma baby! $ 10 and worth every penny. I walk past here everyday but effective today I’m working this spot into my weekly rotation of lunch spots. The service is friendly, welcoming and efficient. The restaurant is clean, modern and comfortable. I can’t wait until they are open every day. I suspect it’ll be sometime around when the Transit Center opens.

Brian C. & I went for a walk to find lunch, stumbling upon Oasis. ***CHICKENSHAWARMA — Seasoned, sliced shawarma chicken breast with tahini, lettuce & tomatoes topped with our house garlic & tahini sauce, wrapped In a toasted lavash Beautiful looking lavash, tasted pretty legit too. Chunks of chicken shawarma were decent tasting but not incredibly noteworthy. Lettuce & tomatoes are a boring add, and the tahini & garlic didn’t quite have the potency to awaken my senses. This was a slightly above average tasting lunch option, but it did not contain the power to unlock my cold, black heart.

The last time I had a swarma was 9 years ago. I thought it was good back then but I never ate another one after that. Why? I don’t know! But now that Oasis Grill has opened up about a block from work, I don’t think I’ll be depriving myself anymore. Nope. Not when I’ve fallen in love with the Shishlik, which is one of their signature dishes that comes with grilled beef cubes skewers, buttery rice with bits of veggies, refreshing yogurt cucumber salad, humus, and a piece of flat bread. The beef was cooked perfectly and was still hot and juicy when I got back to the office to eat it. Around 11:30AM, there’s already a line to the door! But they really know how to manage a production line, one of the employees stayed in line with the rest of us and took our orders while screaming it out to the chefs behind the counter. He made sure the chefs heard his order before moving on to the next patron. By the time you reach the cashier, your food is practically waiting for you already. I like this system. Great food, good service, nice dining area and it will now become one of my FiDi lunch rotation spots!

I’ve been waiting for so long for this Oasis Grill location to open. I literally walked past this location earlier in the week and still said«Coming Soon» in the window. And the other day, I walked past it and the outside sign is now there and the entire inside is ready to go! My first Kefta Kebab Melt from here tasted great and none of the awkward crowding of the Embarcadero location where the small mall kiosk type conditions made ordering and picking your food order up extremely difficult. When I waited in line here, one of the workers took preorders from all of us so that by the time we get to the register, our wrap or order usually was ready to go. Since my office is so close, I didn’t need to eat there but there’s a decent amount of seating inside and it’s pretty spacious and not too crowded between tables. Very excited now that one of my old staples for lunch is now literally less than a block away!
