Wonderful service!!! I will be coming back. Best Chicken Stroganoff I’ve had in quite some time…

Had the Japanese noodles, nothing tasted fresh, the chicken was rubbery. Had to throw it out.

I thought this place was great! Had good options I ordered chicken pesto pasta and it was amazing. Their small portion was big enough for me to not finish it. I’d come back in the near future when I am in the city again

Pretty solid Penne rosa. If I need to grab a quick dinner in the city after work and I’m in the area, I come here. It’s fast casual so I stay away from the things that seem like they require specialization. Udon? Curry? I doubt those are very good at Noodles & Company, but a red sauce with a bit of spice? Pretty tasty and at least a notch above the usual jarred sauce and noodles. 4 stars for convenience and the friendly service I’ve received in the past.

First time coming here after almost working in this area for about a year now. A friend and I met up for lunch here and I was very impressed! A worker approached us when we were looking at the menu and gave some recommendations. I ordered the Thai peanut noodles with chicken added to it. Prices were typical for the Fidi, but what I actually really enjoyed was the amount I got. It was quite a bit and I left the place very full. The place is clean and has a variety of different plates which I will definitely try with my next visit!

Forgot the chicken in the Alfredo that comes w chicken. Been serving the large size with the same amount of noodles as the small. Tastes like frozen food. Shit is wack

the food here is just bad. They serve Italian pasta with Asian noodle as well. My office is closed by, went down for lunch and order the pad thai and Thai curry soup. this is the worst pad thai I have had in my life. no peanuts. tiny portions. the soup has no soup at all. filled with noodles, and doesn’t have any flavors. never coming again.

Food is good because I like what I ordered but the staff is not that friendly. A girl at the cashier feel sleepy. I think she was in a bad mood. She not even greet me but greet the girl next to me in the same time she took my order… why? This is my first time here… did I do something wrong?

It gets three stars as it is new, clean, and with friendly employees. The food is okay… they aren’t kidding about it being Noodles and Company, because your bowl will be noodles with just a tab bit of veggies. A small should be plenty(with a $ 1.25 side salad or soup), otherwise you are rewarded with a carb coma and a less productive afternoon at work. The flavors are all a little on the mild to bland side. Sometimes there is sriracha around to help.

Nah. Just nah. Just nah to this place. Came here during lunch hours during the week because my buddy insisted. Rushed over there thinking man this place must be the shit. Line wasn’t too horrible for 12:30PM on a Wednesday. Ordered the Japanese pan noodles and added pork. Udon noodles pan fried with soy sauce, veggies, and some pork. Seemed standard enough. Nah. Finally get back to my office and dig in. It’s so no. So no, no. Like, nah with this. It was basically udon noodles pan fried with a shit ton of black pepper. The pork was dry and shredded, and also just very peppery. No soy flavor at all. The texture of the udon was OK. On top of the food being lame, we ended up waiting for our food a pretty long while. You know it’s a long while when the people giving you your food feel the need to apologize. I understand in high times waits can be just a tad bit longer, but you don’t usually hear people apologize when people already expect extended wait times. Not worth the $ 10 or coming back here.

This establishment definitely deserves at least a solid 3-star rating. I think it’s lower simply because it’s a chain restaurant mingling among interesting local businesses. This was my first time at a Noodles & Company. I decided to stop because it’s my boyfriend’s go-to fast food stop. I was headed to a happy hour in a little over an hour, and needed a small something the hold me over until my weird beer + appetizer meal. The small order of Pad Thai was perfect for that. We used to have get-togethers in college where we would cook a looooot of pad thai and have a big dinner party. I wished Noodles&Co’s Pad Thai had a little more to it: chopped peanuts and more veggie to be exact, but the dish was very tasty nonetheless. Nice branding/interior, clean location given that it’s in the heart of the city, was nice to have a view into the kitchen, speedy service. Only complaint is silly: the dishes do not fit into the trash cans’ lids. That’s just asking for a mess.

I was craving something different and I’ve always passed by this place to and from the gym. Surprisingly decent! I got the Pad Thai and added chicken. It would have been just fine without the chicken, as the chicken came in whole pieces at the side of the dish. They weren’t really even chopped up or anything and honestly, the chicken was a bit dry. The seasoning on the Pad Thai wasn’t bad at all, but of course it’s not going to taste like the authentic stuff. I’ll most likely visit again to try something else. You can’t really tell from the front how good it is– until you go inside and the place opens up. They have a great variety, anything from stroganoff to mac and cheese. Also soups and a few sandwiches. Good to fix the craving.

Familiarity must breed contempt, and this noodle has already fallen. I tried the first one that opened at the Metreon last year, and while I like the concept of a global noodle shop a la Chipotle, I thought the results were on the middling side. This one opened in a comparatively bigger space on Market next to McDonald’s near 2nd Street. It’s a prime spot that attracts the working drones of the FiDi en masse, but that must be part of the reason for its unbearable mediocrity since fast turnover is key to its survival. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing since I had better luck with the $ 8.49 Med Salad with Chicken before. This time I tried the $ 8.98 Pad Thai with Sauteed Shrimp, and it was a wet mess since it steamed in its plastic container for far too long(photo: ). It actually tasted alright, but compared to any decent Thai restaurant, it was like eating at an airport cafeteria as you wolf it down when your flight is called for boarding. And yet, that wasn’t the worst part of my meal. I ordered a $ 2.99 side of Potstickers, a trio stuffed with minced chicken. They were burnt and flattened by what looked to be a steam iron(photo: ). It takes a lot for me not to like a potsticker, but Noodles & Company managed to do that. Congratulations. I tried the place a second time with a colleague from work, and the experience was no better with the $ 8.38 Bangkok Curry bowl with Organic Tofu, which was a another soggy mess. Now I simply stare at the place across Market from my constant bus stop wondering if it will ever get any better. FOOD — 2 stars… subpar noodles and the flattest potstickers I’ve ever seen AMBIANCE — 2.5 stars… still a clunky set-up with a lot of people waiting for to-go orders as they take over dining spaces SERVICE — 2 stars… very robotic TOTAL — 2 stars… this franchise appears to be making a downhill slide with its second location

I think this is a great place for a good solid lunch. The price is very reasonable — you get a big bowl of noodles. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff Noodles it cost about $ 10 and I was very full and satisfied. There was plenty of seating and the service is fast and friendly. It is not ideal to have a meeting here tho because the place has no privacy and it can get loud. If you are tight on money you can also share your bowl with a friend and still be satisfied.

I came here because I got a coupon for a free bowl of noodles. I ordered the Whole wheat pasta with steak. Service was fast. I also got a drink from the fancy fountain. There wasn’t a lot of steak in the bowl considering I was charged close to $ 3 but the few bits I got were tender. The pasta was hard. It was like eating cardboard. It wasn’t even al dente. If they took the time to cook it longer, I’m sure it would be good. The bowl was also very greasy. Not sure if I will come back. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?

I’ve been meaning to stop by Noodle and Company because I pass by every morning on the way to work, and finally decided to try it out one rainy day. I love that the menu has pictures of each dish, and the new law mandating calorie counts persuaded me to try the Bangkok curry(the healthiest item on the menu calorie wise) as opposed to the Alfredo Montamore I was craving. I was expecting a bland pasta veggie combo but instead was delighted by colorful veggies and a light, yet flavorful sauce. I also added grilled chicken to add some protein, which was juicy and flavorful unlike chewy chicken pieces that noodle dishes are usually accompanied with. I would eat the chicken on it’s own! The cashiers didn’t ask what size dish I wanted, so I forgot to mention small and they gave me a large. Make sure to mention if you prefer. Really excited to try the rest of the items here and am glad this is so close to work!

This is a review about their staff at this location and their Japanese Pan Noodles. Here’s the feedback I am about to submit on their website: 6th January, 2015. Lunch time: 12:30 — 1:15pm. The food took more than 15 – 20 minutes to hit our table. A: Your staff: The people serving us food looked like they were being forced to work here. I counted about 3 – 4 servers that looked completely miserable and pretty much just dumped the food on our table and took off. I tried to get a glass for water after placing my order(eat-in #32), but there was just one person taking orders, so after waiting around the pick-up area for 5 – 8 minutes, I gave up. B: Japanese Pan Noodles: I ordered the small size. The noddles are supposed to be sweet, but mine tasted very very sticky, over caramelized, and bitter. I counted 2 tiny florets of broccoli, 2 skinny half slices of carrots, 1 thinly sliced shiitake mushroom, and 1 rotten yellow cilantro leaf(right on top as a garnish) {Link to Unilocal photo} The only great tasting thing on the plate were the sprouts! The tofu was cold. The noodles were just warm. On the other hand, my husband’s Indonesian peanut sauté was piping hot and delicious. After a few bites, I tried to take it back to the pick-up counter(again just one hassled person taking orders) and the servers didn’t bother to acknowledge why I was standing there. I gave up — my lunch break was almost over. What a terrible experience. I had to buy something else to eat on my way back to work.

I was excited to see this place being put together and made plans to go and try it. I thought it would be all things noodles, and I wasn’t wrong! I came here with a co-worker for lunch and ordered the Japanese pan noodle, thinking it would be like the pan-fried noodles I’ve come to love from Chinese food places. I was asked if I wanted to add steak to it and I said sure, why not! When I finally got my order, you would like it would be a little quicker prep for being in the FIDI and it being lunch time, it was not what I expected at all. Thick udon-type noodles, NOSTEAK, minimal veggies, and the sauce was just okay. I thought I got the wrong dish but I was starving and needed to get back to work so I just ate it. Less noodles, or just thinner noodles, more veggies, actually putting steak into the dish like I order, and maybe pan frying dish it would have been better. Lots of seating inside, but still feels too close to others, and sometimes there is seating outside if they open the doors. Only downside of eating out side is you are level with the normal walking traffic in the FIDI and you are right near the Montgomery BART Station entrance. They do have 2 of those cool«pick your soda» Coca Cola machines where you can get fancy sodas [read: Diet Coke with Lime lol]. I might go back if I had more time to eat and searched the menu for something else I might like. Pricing is your basic overpriced SFFIDI lunch but you get a lot of food; Quality versus Quantity.

You can’t really beat a $ 6 bowl of noodles. I was fortunate enough to attend their soft opening invitation only event that gave us a free entrée, soda, and a dessert(cookie or rice crispy). It’s not the best food I’ve ever tasted. Very fast food like but for their price point and concept, you got to admit it’s pretty cool. Love the soda machine with seemingly limitless options and the global noodle dishes. I ordered the Pad Thai and thought it was good. The shrimp that they give you are the cheap small kind but I didn’t giant prawns or anything. I think this place will be here for awhile since it’s a great option for companies to order their catering.
