I like their cute logo. Like many other vendors Ninja Pie Cart appeared at the UFM and later joined the SF street food cart gatherings. Pies on the menu: chicken pot pie, veggie tikka masala, and a sweet custard pie. The savory pies are $ 4, and the dessert pie which is smaller costs $ 3. The vendors had been selling food for more than an hour when I got there yesterday, so I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken pot pie I bought was still warm. I guess it takes ninja skills to manage that. The filling was like a homemade stew of cubed chicken breasts, potatoes, carrots and corn. Overall it’s well made. 3.75 stars! Get updates via Twitter. Ninja Pie Cart is a new member to the thriving food cart community in San Francisco. I met them a week ago at the Sweet Corazon De La Mission in L: a Victoria Bakery. They offered two types of pot pies that evening. The traditional chicken pot pie was well done. The crust had a great flake. The chicken and vegetable were soft and savory. The sauce coated the filling in a velvety warmth. The spinach and mushroom pot pie was tasty and it’s sauce was just as rich and velvety as the chickem counterpart. Well done!
