I ordered food with a friend for delivery. We got a lot of items and none of them tasted good. A couple of hours later I was throwing up pieces of pork and noodles. I was not happy to say the least and will not be ordering food from here again.

Delivery took just under two hours and food was bland. I know good Chinese food and this is not it. My friend threw his food away rather than eat it.

Very tasty Chinese food. Probably one of the best I’ve had in the city so far. I have been going through what has been one of the worst hangovers of my life and been miserable all day and was hoping this would help. It is literally a hangover cure! The Hot and Sour soup is good, so are the green onion pancakes and the 6 fried crab meat rangoon. I havent started on my barbecue pork fried rice yet but it looks awesome. They really do have a great selection and good prices. Since it’s in the TL, I will continue to order from grub hub. They also came very fast which I appreciated.

I have been searching around in the city for good Chinese food and I finally found it! After a long day of shopping at the Bloomingdale mall. I Unilocaled around for Chinese food and this restaurant popped up and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located in TL, though not a good neighborhood, but the food here is very delicious and the portion is BIG. First, I ordered a Long An drink and a soda, then I asked the waitress what’s good and she recommended the fried chicken wings and egg rolls, as for my main entrée, I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wrap(My favorite), and their Combination fried rice. All that food for $ 23 for two people! Since then, I have been ordering from them through . If you are ever in San Francisco, you ought to come here to give them a try. Good price and very generous portion.

Now I know why there are not many reviews from this Chinese restaurant. Many of us know that San Francisco’s Tenderloin District is and can be suicidal. But all you get from this corner Chinese restaurant in the heart(Eddy and Leavenworth) are good Chinese food with a homely and friendly hospitality from the nice owners. Albeit if you are not one of the street people, drug addicts or transients from the jagged area. I was here twice within a week span. And both of those visit, I ordered the same pasta dish: Chicken and Broccoli over pan fried noodles. For $ 8.00, I get chunks of chicken meat, broccoli florets and hint of garlic in a nest of pan fried noodles. I have had similiar pasta dish\es from many Chinese restaurants, but this restaurant’s version is very good with the exploding sounds of the crunchy noodles As I was enjoying my pasta dish, the friendly workers enjoyed chatting and getting acquainted with Joe Cool. Also I was watching the crazy view of Eddy Street. The picture of my pasta dish from my second visit, which is bigger than my first visit:
Despite dealing with many various nutcases and BS around the area, the workers are very nice and cook very good Chinese food. I can’t wait to try other food from here. The Tenderloin is not as bad during the day as oppose to the dark evening.

I can’t really tell you about the food because it never arrived. I placed the order at 7:30. When I contacted Grubhub at 10:00, I was told the food was on its way and would be there by 10:18. At 10:25, I got an email from Grubhub stating that when they contacted the restaurant again, they admitted they never made my order. So my order was canceled. So my hubby and I are starving and have to figure something else out. I won’t be ordering from this place ever again. New Star Café would have zero stars if Unilocal would allow it.

FRIEDRICE!!! CHOWMEIN!!! I don’t know why there’s no review for this hole in the wall, but This place got some awesome Fried Rice and Chow Mein! It’s not ur typical flavorless dish where you just want to throw it away after a few bite, BUT its actually really good! I love their combo fried rice and their combo chow mein, add some hot sauce and lime. YUMMY! Their best appetizer is the Chicken Wings! This is a family owned chinese restaurant, so once you walk in, they make you feel like home! 4 stars for the food and –1 star for the location + werid people
