Moriarty Hall – St Annes of the Sunset

Very nice place great place for any family event or event pirod. staff was great. Can’t wait for the party to begin. Nice part of town.

This is hiddem gem of a venue! I held my son’s birthday party here. We have a very large family so we needed a spacious, covered space (it being December) to entertain everyone. It’s super affordable, everything is almost new and super clean. And they set up and clean up! It has high ceilings (not like being in the basement of some other churches), a nice stage and dancefloor, big professional kitchen. Comes with ice makers and coffee makers and caraffes! But the best part was how accomodating and easy it was to work with the church coordinator, Ken. He was so easy going and helpful. They are not «strict» with time frames, if there is no other events going on around yours.
This hall is located right next door to St. Anne’s church so there is a nice warm vibe to the place. But if the sight of crucifixes and the color «rose» offends you, then you might want to throw your event elsewhere. My recap:
Pros:
–Competitive prices
–Newly rennovated, clean
–Comes with lots extras, ice makers, coffee makers
–Big professional kitchen
–Staff is accomodating and easy to work with
–Nice bathrooms, lots of stalls for the ladies.
Cons:
–The hall is adjacent to the school’s gym. So you could here basketballs bouncing around
–No PA system
–Limitations (tho minimal) to the rental because its apart of the church. No loud music on saturdays after 5pm until 6pm, insurance only available through the diocese. But again, not a huge problem if you’re flexible.
